Situated in Rethymno, this lovely villa for $992 per night is a great option for your next trip. Amara Villas are managed by "etouri vacation rental management". Amara Villas is a brand new holiday complex, consisted of 3 independent Villas, each one with its own private pool. The location of Amara Villa II is ideal for a car free holiday, as the sandy beach is just 100 metres away and our guests have access to private sun beds, just for them. Also, all daily amenities are within walking distance, facilitating your every day needs and the city of Rethymno, with its picturesque Old Town is only 3 Km away. Amara Villa II is a three-storey 210 sq. m. luxurious residence, decorated in a minimal, holiday style and attention was paid in every detail, having our guests comfort in mind, using high quality design and furnishings throughout. The Villa can comfortably accommodate 8 guests in its 4 bedrooms and up to 10 if necessary. Indoor Layout Lower Floor On the lower level of the Villa guests can find two bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite bathroom with shower cabin and double bed (1,60 X 2,00 m) and the other one with a double bed (1,60 X 2,00 m). All bedrooms are air conditioned and are equipped with 32 HDTVs and comfortable mattresses. The playroom with 49 HDTV with Netflix, Playstation 4, bluetooth speaker, board games and siting area with sofa, will offer many pleasant moments to you and your family and also offers access to the pool terrace through a staircase. Also, the sauna, static bike, treadmill and two yoga mats will help you keep in shape during your holiday. Additionally, an extra bathroom with shower cabin can be found on this level. Finally, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available. Ground Floor Reaching the ground floor, you will find yourselves in a cosy, open plan area consisted of the living room and kitchen. The living area provides two comfortable sofas, 49 HDTV, as well as pool view and direct access to a veranda, equipped with an outdoor dining area. Furthermore, the fully equipped kitchen with wine cooler and indoor dining area provides all necessary appliances and equipment for your self catered vacation. Additionally, one more bedroom with a double bed (1,60 X 2,00 m) and a bathroom with shower cabin can also be found on this level. First Floor After ascending a few stairs, guests can find the third double bedroom (1,60 X 2,00 m) of he Villa, which offers an en-suite bathroom with shower cabin, as well as access to a balcony equipped with patio furniture and a large veranda featuring an outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor siting area and a table tennis, overlooking the pool. Outdoor area The beautifully landscaped outdoor area and the pool terrace are fully fenced offering total privacy to our guests. More specifically our outdoor facilities include:?- 50 sq. m. private swimming pool (1,50 m. deep) featuring a special compartment for children (0,50 m. deep). - 4 comfortable sun beds, 1 shaded double day bed and umbrellas - Outdoor sitting area - Playground for our young guests - Shaded veranda with outdoor dining area (with direct access to the living room) - Shaded veranda on the first floor, featuring a 5 seater hot tub, ping pong table and outdoor living room - 2 bicycles are available upon request - Charcoal barbecue facilities - Parking space for 1 car outside the Villa INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA The Villa is located in Missiria area in Rethymno. Misiria is a consecutive suburb of Rethymnon. A long sandy beach stretches along the area, which is an extension of vast north coastline that starts near the harbour of Rethymno and extends to the east for 13km till Skaleta beach. It is very well organised, with a plethora of choices for food, drink and beach bars. Like in all parts of the long beachfront, loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay their eggs here. The turtles are threatened with extinction, but the Rethymno Gulf is one of the three most important places for the species in Greece, bearing annually more than 400 nests in average. The town of Rethymno also offers many sightseeing spots, such as the Fortezza fortress, the Venetian harbour, several mosques, the municipal garden and more. Furthermore, several picturesque villages are within close proximity ideal for walks around the area. Words cannot describe our holiday to Crete. booked for my mums 60th, and right from the start everyone has been so helpful in making this a special holiday for my mum. firstly the villa is amazing the pictures really do not do it Justice. Its location was perfect for us. Set in quiet street but only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants on which there is everything you need. Bus stop short walk away. Buses regular and cheap into Rethymno. The whole team are amazing from organising Balloons, Champagne and gifts for our arrival to suggestions where to eat and visit. House keeping and maintenance do a top job keeping the villa spotless and so friendly. It truly was a magical holiday, not only the villa its location but the team for making sure everything was perfect. A holiday that will be in our memories forever.

The perfect villa for me, my two teenage children and brother. Plenty of room for us all to have our own space but great communal space when we were together. The team looking after the villa were excellent. The villa is a little way out from the main town but taxi were quick and €8. Everyone we meet during our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool wasn’t heated and was too cold for us to use in October but this may have been due to the storm a couple of days before we arrived. Great stay

Everything was exceptional. The Villa was just wonderful and spotless. The service was outstanding - was my daughters birthday on the day we arrived and our flight was a late one. After communications with the property company and giving them a shopping list they brought a birthday cake, pizza, beer, wine and even a ballon to surprise her. We were all So impressed. The town is about 45 min walk but worth it as so quaint with great backstreet restaurants however there are also a lot locally. Taxis are 8 euros into town. Wonderful holiday enjoyed by all - especially the hot tub and ping pong competitions!! 😊

The staff at etouri arr 2nd to none and can't do enough for you and the cleaner and pool man were excellent 👌 We will definitely be going back to this wonderful villa 100% Thank-you kostas and all the team for making our trip that more special

Die Beschreibung der Villa passt sehr gut, sie ist sehr gut gepflegt und wird auch während des Aufenthalts regelmässig gereinigt. Top Service! In der Nähe gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Ins Zentrum sind es 3-4 km, was entweder zu Fuss oder mit dem Taxi problemlos machbar ist. Der Strand war nahezu menschenleer, breit, sauber und auch im Oktober war das Meer noch angenehm warm. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen. Kostas hat im Vorfeld immer zügig und kompetent geantwortet, vor Ort hat uns Makis bestens betreut und Mariella die gute Fee der Villas hat immer für Sauberkeit und verschiedene Annehmlichkeiten gesorgt. Vielen Dank dem ganzen Team!

We have stayed in the Villa Amara II together with our adult kids and our mother (age range from 18-81), altogether 9 people. First to mention: the pictures represent everything exactly as it is!!! The villa provides enough space for all of us with its 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. It is very new, so everything is in great condition. The older ones stayed most of time at the beach on the private sunbeds, the younger ones enjoyed the pool, the table tennis and the jacuzzi. You have a couple of really good and inexpensive restaurants in walking distance as well as a supermarket. To explore the island it is recommended to hire a car. The kitchen in the house is not really equipped for cooking for 8-10 persons (2 pots and 2 pans), but as the food in the restaurants is not really expensive, you can go out for dinner. We had fantastic time, everybody could really relax. We will definitely come back. Thanks also to the Etouri team, who took care of everything.

we booked a trip to crete at relatively short notice after our previous holiday was cancelled. The villa was perfect for our group with plenty of space for our party of 7 adults- the villa was exactly as described and we enjoyed many happy hours around the lovely pool. The location is excellent with the beach, shops and many tavernas within walking distance. Etouri were excellent making arrangements for a number of activities and booking restaurants to suit our needs. My only small critisism is the villa is very close to its neighbours and quite overlooked. As a result we felt we needed to keep the terrace blinds down and suffered some late night noise from the neighbouring villa. Neither impacted our enjoyment of the villa overall. Rethymno is beautiful and well worth visiting.

Family holiday with 2 young children, and had a fantastic time. The property is literally just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, and is really well presented. Shops and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away. Property managers were fantastic and highly communicative, and made arriving and leaving stress free.

This Villa completely exceeded our expectations - normally the photo's are magically brushed up and the reality is quite different. Not with Amara Villa II. Everything you need is there and pristine, you are moments from the beach and the town. There is adequate parking and the pool is beautiful. The Owners and Carers are extremely friendly and they cannot do enough for you. Not a single complaint from any of us and we were 8!!! Highly recommended!! Thank you Etouri!!!
