The location is good. Close to Cascades, the Opera, and restaurants. Walking distance to Republic Square and central to other interesting areas. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
Housekeeping comes at all hours, sometimes at 5pm or 7pm when I was back in my room. Not the usual late morning-afternoon hours typical in other hotels. No chance of getting a good nights sleep! My room constantly smelled like cigarette smoke, especially in the middle of the night and there's a loud bar/club in the hotel and I was able to hear music even though I was 6 floors down! The shower is awkwardly constructed. I don't know how a normal-sized person can fit in it. There was a kitchenette but no plates, silverware or anything else you'd expect to have with a kitchenette (why have it at all?).

It's location. In the town centre. And we used the hotel
facilities to get married here. The top floor has excellent
views of Yerevan and The Cascades. This is wear we
took our marriage vows and where our wedding photos
were taken.
My wife and I will be returning to the hotel ,again, in
November.

I arrived at 10.30pm after a long travelling day from the UK to find that all the air-con in the hotel was broken, so my room was 28 deg C. They did open a window which helped but I did not sleep well. The traffic was noisy with constant horns honking, so in the end I decided I liked it quieter and hotter! They said they were working to mend the air-con, but when I said did that mean in the next few hours, they admitted it was broken for days and would take days more to get spare parts. The man on reception also told me I could get food anytime with room service but I arrived at the restaurant at 11.05pm and it has just closed and no food until the morning. To the reception man's credit, he worked hard for an hour to find a local restaurant that could deliver some hot food and I did eat at about midnight. I cancelled a second visit there during my stay, because I rang them and they said the air-conditioning was still broken :(. I hope they manage to fix it soon, as in the hot weather it makes sleep hard in the rooms. Ps. I wish hotels would be honest when you are checking in if something is not working. I would have left to find another hotel, but after an hour in the room, it was so late and I was exhausted so I just stayed.
