One of the best hotels I have stayed at in all my travels!

Great options for breakfast. A good selection of Asian and western dishes. Staff were always friendly and welcoming :) from the security waving and saying good morning/goodnight every time we walked in and out, to the housekeeping staff who were so respectful and accommodating. Staff at reception were always so helpful and warm. The restaurant staff surprised me with a cake and card on my birthday (without anyone in my group telling them about it)! It was such a special and thoughtful gesture - really appreciated and made my stay in Chiang Mai that much more memorable. They knew who we were by name and always made an effort to greet us and ask us about our day - and this makes all the difference to a guest when you’re visiting another country. Thank you everyone! Exceptional service and a beautiful hotel ❤️

The services proposed by the reception. All were very expenses and we had to look for cheaper options by ourselves. Looks there is financial arrangements between the hotel and tour guides / taxi companies.

Perfect location and amazing value

Breakfast was amazing and great value. Location was perfect - right in the old city. The first room we were given had a strange smell but the staff was very accommodating in moving us. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Hotel has a lovely quaint vibe.

Tres agreable sejour

Nous avons passe un tres agreable sejour, la proprete des chambres et top, le petit dejeuner est sympa.

Le nombre de transats au bord de la piscine est vraiment limite, de memoire 7 ou 8, pour la taille de l'etablissement c'est trop peu. Ca n'a pas ete un reel probleme pour nous vu que nous visitions la plupart du temps, mais s'il y avait eu plus de transats nous aurions pu profiter tout de meme plus de la piscine.

Le personnel est agréable et serviable. Le gardien très gentil.

Hôtel qui ne vaut pas ses 4 étoiles et trop cher pour ce que c'est. Chambres propres mais trop étriquées. Grande façade devant la piscine qui donne un sentiment d'être enfermé.

When we arrived at approximately 11pm we were greeted by security who helped us with our bags & there was an escalator thank the Lord. The entrance was so beautiful and garden style but didn’t feel like something was going to jump out at you haha

The pool are was quite small and awkward because not many chairs and all close together but it was exactly what i thought it was going to be from seeing the photos so it wasn’t a shock. Just be prepared for this if you’re planning on swimming. We didn’t plan to swim so was no factor for us when booking

Perfect

The location is vary close to the major temple call Wat Chedi Luang, but also located in a quiet alloy.So you won’t be disturbed by other tourists.service was vary nice ! They always smiling and willing to help for your request

Everything was perfect, but I hope the breakfast can be more diversification, because we stay for six night so we eat the six meals of breakfast,till the last two day we are tired of eating.

A calm space to stay slightly away from the main street in Chiang Mai.

Entering this hotel through the hedged walkway was like stepping into your own calm courtyard. The room was decent (we had a ground floor room near the pool), used the pool a couple of times and the breakfast offered a small but considered collection and catered for gluten free dining.

The pool is generally shaded for most of the day so can be quite chilly (can be quite nice given the heat). Also when I requested additional towels for the room, the hotel lobby staff were a little hesitant & asked if the room had already been cleaned before agreeing to drop some extra towels off.

Pessimo.

Nulla, lo spazio è angusto e gli ospiti non hanno libertà di movimento all’interno della struttura davvero troppo piccola. Le camere danno sulla piscina e si sentono tutti i rumori dei bagnanti.

Mi hanno chiesto un deposito di 1000 Bath al mio arrivo che corrisponde a circa 26 € e quando ho lasciato l’hotel non me lo hanno ridato. Mi hanno rubato €26 e questa condotta è inaccettabile.

Excellent hotel in the old city with very helpful staff.

The hotel is perfectly located to visit some of the most important places in the old city on foot. It was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the pool an added bonus. Best of all were the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were also excellent at suggesting res, things to visit and organising taxis.

The balcony was very small with only place for one person to sit. The sitting area was also very limited.

Zeer mooi hotel (thai stijl) met een uitstekende ligging!

De ligging ! In de oude stad en alles toevoet bereikbaar. De kamer ! Groot en mooi ingericht met goede badkamer . ( Een beetje lawaai 's nacht maar ik denk dat dat te maken had met werken in de hele stad!

We hadden een taxi vanaf de luchthaven besteld maar die hebben we niet gezien ...( ??) We hebben dan zelf maar een taxi georganiseerd en dat kwam uiteindelijk nog goedkoper uit ... Ontbijt had iets breder (meer keuze , vooral brood) gekund!

Es war eine schöne Zeit

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichteten, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Besonders Karn war beim Frühstück sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch wieder.

Geweldig verblijf!

Twee keer in dit hotel verbleven. Gastvrijheid was top, hotel schoon, mooie kamers en geweldige service. De tweede keer kregen we vanuit het hotel een gratis upgrade naar een betere kamer. Wij vonden El Barrio Lanna het beste hotel waar we zijn verbleven in Thailand.

Water van het zwembad was erg koud!!

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic hotel, the staff were very friendly and the room was very clean, Breakfast was excellent as were the two waiters Yoyo and Karn. Also I think it was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in in Thailand. Thank you all for your care.

Nothing to fault this beautiful little hotel.

We loved everything about this small hotel. Location was spot on for all sights. Room was lovely and clean and bathroom fittings etc were good quality and well maintained. Sheets and towels changed daily (if required) . Complimentary water, coke and lemon tea daily. Breakfast was served by two lovely young men , always cheerful and pleasant. The choice of Thai dishes changed daily, other foods the same every day but that was no issue for us as there were choices. Front desk staff very helpful and knowledgeable and polite …. as all Thai people are , we’ve found! Also had complimentary tea, coffee, juice and biscuits by the pool area during the day which was lovely. Pool was in the shade all day but still pleasant to sit round in the heat.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Maybe a comfier chair for the security men would make them more comfortable!

Ah-mazing

Everything. This was the nicest room we've ever stayed in. In the states, this would be 500-700 dollars a night. Amazing. Great location and the most comfortable bed that any hotel has ever provided.

The room and the staff and the hotel so amazing.

In the middle of the old town, close to the markets and restaurants, quiet area after 7pm.

Inside the neighborhood and walking distance to the places I want to visit like Starbucks 10 minutes walking distance, as Muslim am having hard time to find Halal food, no suggestions or initiatives from the reception to guide me.
