The bathroom has an over-sized tiled shower, and the bedroom has a king size canopy bed with a cool-gel mattress. All new furniture throughout, including a leather sleeper sofa, leather recliner and a handmade reclaimed oak dining table. The 65" flat screen TV with cable and WiFi completes the resort experience. Beautiful view of the mountain and tennis courts from the spacious porch. Full Chetola Resort amenities with tennis, playground, indoor pool, sauna, spa, fishing, and paddleboats on the lake and more, are included. On -site restaurant and bar, walking distance to Blowing Rock restaurants and shops are just some of the many benefits of this unit. Payment is due as follows: 50% ASAP to reserve unit; balance at least 4 weeks prior to stay; lock-box combo with key will be provided within three days of your stay. Cancellation refund is 100% within 14 days of stay and 50% within a week. We highly recommend buying late cancellation insurance protection, since there are no exceptions to this rule. It was updated, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The view from the back was special. All furnishings, including the bed met our needs. We would definitely stay here in the future. It is close to restaurants, including the lodge and we enjoyed an evening meal with music there, plus skiing, sledding close. A+

This cozy condo is in a great location in Blowing Rock. The condo is updated and is well equipped with everything that I needed. The bed is very comfortable with a good mattress and very soft sheets. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Clean and had everything we needed. Very close to downtown Blowing Rock shops and restaurants. The only negative was we couldn’t figure out the tv in the bedroom even with the instructions. We didn’t call about it since it didn’t matter to us. We would stay there again.

After we moved in there was no information how to use the various appliances. When we asked for information on how to use the new coffee maker we were told to search the web for instructions. The remote in the bedroom for the TV was missing and was still missing when we left. No bedtime TV. The information on how to use the TV remote in the Main Room was hand written and confusing. There were ants in the kitchen and we had to purchase ant baits. The owner did supply ant baits several days after they were notified. The switch in the bathroom for the heat was broken and the owner accused us of breaking it on purpose. They did send a repair person to verify the malfunction and replace the switch knob the was defective. When we informed the owner of the various issues they threatened to evict us after we there for just a couple of days. Here was there response: Blowing Rock Owner: I expect he broke it...let's keep his deposit Anne: I'm about to kick him out... We have done many rentals and this was the worst ever.

Had a great 4 days at Chetola Resort which is just beautiful. The condo was great, furnished beautifully and so very comfortable. The kitchen was top notch but since we were on vacation there was no cooking to be had, just an enjoyment of the wonderful restaurants in town. We should have stayed longer but we will be back.

Came to visit family in Boone and really enjoyed our stay at Chetola resort. Holly unit was perfect. A little disappointed that the pool/Hot tub was shutting down for a 2 week repair right during spring break. But we loved it for the day we did get.

We stayed at this property December 2021 and returned 13 months later in January 2023. The location is amazing, just a minute from downtown Blowing Rock which is absolutely adorable. It snowed while we were there and the roads were clear and safe (a concern for Floridians). The complex even put salt on our stairs to make it safer. When it snowed, we went to the activities counter and asked for a sled which they let us borrow to ride down the hill on property. This is our favorite place to visit and favorite condo to stay. I would give 10 stars if I could!

This is 3rd time we have stayed here - the unit is just perfect, with a wonderful fireplace for curling up with a good book on a snowy day. There are many wonderful restaurants close by, as well as great hiking just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. A perfect location for exploring the Blowing Rock/Boone area in the winter.

We would hands down choose this property again. My husband, 10 year old son and I fit perfectly. Close to downtown (Uber was $9) and property has everything you could need if you needed to stay in. Cozy, decorated perfectly for the "mountain feel" and cleanliness was top notch. Updated shower/kitchen and all the resort amenities.

We've stayed at the Lodge before but never looked into the condo's. This one was perfectly located looking over the middle of the well kept tennis courts (where we enjoyed some pickleball) and loved the walking trail located next to the parking lot that took you around Bass Lake. We walked it a couple times each day. The condo was amazing. Super clean and perfect for 2 people. The decor was awesome and it made you feel like you were in the mountains on NC and had everything you needed. The bed was super comfy and loved the large bathroom and walk in shower. Will definitely try to return again and again.

This property exceeded our expectations. Immaculate, tastefully decorated, with an amazing bed. So comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Trail head was close by, the amenities were very nice. We used the indoor pool/sauna, work out facilities, and played ping pong on a rainy day. Owner was very responsive when we needed some help. If I could give this 10 stars, I would!

Our first visit to Blowing Rock and our first VRBO rental experience. We had a great time. Such a quaint village with lots of restaurants and shopping. The condo was just as pictured. Not really within walking distance to town, but wonderful walking trails just behind the condo. We hope to stay at Chetola Resort again next summer!

Very nice. Maybe just a few things to keep me from a 5 rating. 1. A tempurpedic mattress is a non starter for me and my wife. We do not sleep well on these "hot" sink-in foam mattresses. Would make sure in the future to avoid. 2. The recliner chair did not recline. It is electric. And non functional. 3. The unit needs more lighting. Especially in the bath. 4. Only one roll of tissue in bath. We loved our visit. Just a few things that may improve your ratings in the future.

Wonderful place and great location! Walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock (about 15-20 minutes) but saves the hassle of parking. The walk home is uphill so you’ll burn the calories you just ate in town! Loved our time there!
