Not the right approach for a new hotel

It’s a new hotel, it deserves its 4 stars - with a different approach to customers (see below)

I asked to call the car rental agency for the delivery of a car at 9.00 am next morning. The day after the car wasn’t there and the person at the reception - the same I spoke with the day before - told me: “Maybe they will come at 10.30”. When I complain, he answered that “calling a car rental is not a hotel service”. I think that he told that in good faith, and this is the issue: employees at a 4 or 5 star hotel should be trained so that they fully understand that reserving a restaurant for a client or calling a car rental IS A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF THEIR JOB. Nakhichevan aims at getting more and more tourists. It will succeed if people involved in the hospitality sector understand what modern customer care is

Overall a good option for Naxcivan

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms, located among restaurants and cafes, some attractions at walking distance.

Staff struggle a bit with both English and Russian. Breakfast wasn't good. Too expensive for what they offer.

Service not up to the standard

Location, spacious toom

- We requested the hotel reception to store our ice packs in their freezer, as they were crucial for keeping our son's medication cool during our travel. Unfortunately, they misplaced and lost them. - During our check-in at the hotel, the receptionist proposed setting up an additional bed in our room for an extra cost, which we agreed to. However, despite checking on and reminding the reception multiple times, the bed was only set up at 9:45 pm. - Breakfast time at the hotel starts at 8 am. Since we had a tour planned for 8 am on the second day, we inquired if it was possible to have breakfast at 7:30 am. The reception assured us it would be fine. However, the next morning when we arrived for breakfast, we were informed to return after 8 am. - Our room lacked a spare toilet roll, and to our surprise, the hotel had run out of stock. As a result, we had to go purchase our own toilet rolls…

Great Hotel to Stay in Nakhchivan

The room is big and clean. The staff here are super warm and helpful. Most staff can speak english. They can help call taxis if you want to travel to the beautiful tourist attractions, and do the price negotiation for you. The hotel itself is inside a shopping plaza, and it is very easy to find great foods with reasonable price and good taste.

Amazing hotel in Naxcivan

The room was very beautiful and bright. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the staff is extremly helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious.

Nice large rooms, but no English

Large rooms, just balcony is missing. Reception was overall helpful. There is a large courtyard with connected restaurants.

The level of English (and even Russian) and general understanding is a disaster, especially in the restaurants around where you have the breakfast and can have dinner. Permanent misunderstandings, long waiting times and wrong items. The reception tried hard with Google translate, but sorry: this is not enough for this price class.

Stylish rooms in a hotel with a unique design.

The room was spacious , clean with all the comforts provided to make our stay super nice. The design of the building is unique and spectacular when lighted at night. It has 3 restaurants but the Turkish one was the most popular one.

It was about 20’ on foot away from the city center. Also , we requested to have an earlier check-in but the receptionist denied it because he said that all rooms were full.He didn’t understand english at all and a tourist guide helped us to communicate with him.

+ huge and clean room + several restaurants and cafe just below the hotel + about 15-20 mins walk to the city centre where most of the tourist attractions are located + breakfast included in the price

- no wifi connection 3x but was quickly solved after informing the reception - no changes in the breakfast menu

Great Place to Stay in Nakhchivan

The hotel is located in a complex of restaurants, bar, and a shopping mall; it’s quite close to Noah’s Tomb or the center of Nakhchivan city. The staff are very friendly and speak reasonable amounts of English and Russian; they can help with rental cars or booking taxis. The room is very spacious and uniquely designed. Perhaps the best hotel you can get in the area.

Nice hotel at a fair price

The hotel offers a very good location as well as large and clean rooms. Two restaurants offer tasty food at cheap prices. The hotel is quite new. It is considered as the best or one of the best hotels in Nakhchivan city. The rooms are quiet enough, beds are fairly comfortable. The internet works fine. This is certainly a good selection for a stay.

The breakfast could have been more varied. The staff is nice in general but nothing extra-ordinary. To access the suites you need to get outside and via stairs, there is no elevator. No bath tube in the bathroom. The hotel lacks facilities such as spa, but that was expected.

Lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nakhchivan city.

Fabulous!

We loved this hotel. The rooms are fantastic. High ceilings, lots of space, enormous bathroom and great view of the mountains. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good with just enough variety. There is a kids club for a small fee. The location is good and just a five minute drive from the airport.

Nice hotel with huge rooms and good amenities. Howe it needs some improvements to be a great.

Breakfast was adequate but one day there was no hot food at all for breakfast. I received a room rate discount as they messed up my airport taxi pick-up which was considerate of them. Good choice of three restaurants on-site. The room was huge and beautiful, well recommended for that and the bathroom was vast. fruit platter in room on arrival, which a nice gesture. near to all city sights, especially Noah's Tomb. Very quiet area of town.

Wi-Fi was very poor, constantly cutting out, even after a few minutes and needing to reconnect. The same in the Batumi restaurant but worse so I gave up using it. Arranged taxi did not turn up as my flight was 2 hours late but they did not resend it or check arrival times. Thye however gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Areas of the public carpets were unsightingly dirty. All the receptionists had only very basic English so communication can be difficult as Russian is more widely spoken in this area. The shower leaked through the door/panel onto bathroom floor, so a quick mop up was needed each morning.

Comfortable hotel

The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The hotel is in a new entertainment complex so there was a choice of restaurants nearby.

Very small and squashy pillows. The room was basically clean, but the sink was not cleaned properly before or during my stay. There was a build-up of staining around the plug hole and overflow which is not expected in a hotel of this standard. If this isn’t addressed soon, it will become unhygienic and unsightly. The hotel location is a little away from the centre, which wasn’t always convenient.

Clean and Modern Hotel Located Near Noah's Tomb

Saat Meydani Nakhchivan is located within easy walking distance of Noah's Tomb and just a short taxi or bus ride to the airport and Nakhchivan's central business district. The rooms are large, modern and clean, the staff is helpful and the breakfast is good. The hotel is part of a shopping complex that has several restaurants and a pub. I enjoyed my two-night stay at this hotel and would return.
