We ordered a catered dinner carne asada with rice, beans, sopes, and taquitos. Well everything was great except for the carne asada was hard as a rock. Other than that had the best vacation ever.

We were a group of 10 people from 3 families that stayed a week in March 2022. The house really is wonderful, spacious, comfortable, and private. Communication with Myrna and the property manager was excellent. Perks that go the extra mile in making the house ideal: water carboys are provided; two refrigerators, all appliances are functional; hot tub is hot; daily housekeeping; daily pool cleaning; wifi; combination lock to enter house. Other things to know: the closest walk to the beach is 10-15 minutes and thru an archeological site--it is beautiful but not amenable to any stroller or bike. We rented bikes for the week and I was hoping to bike into playa phase 1, but we were not allowed in on bikes, only walking (crazy-strict guards). Renting bikes (playabikerentals) made the trip into town and throughout playa phase 2 very convenient. One of the bedrooms has two twin beds but you must walk through it to get to one of the master suites, and it shares a bathroom with the master. This was not a problem for my family of 4, but if your group desires 6 isolated rooms, this info wasn't clear in the house description. I highly recommend this house and I would certainly stay there again. If the long walk to the beach doesn't bother you, this place is perfect for a large group.

What a beautiful house and property. Diverse tropical vegetation surrounds the property. Angel the pool, hot tub and landscaping man is there six days a week to make sure everything is perfectly running. Teresa, the housekeeper is meticulous in her housekeeping duties and we would like her to move to Ottawa where I'm sure we could make her a lot of money! She is fantastic. The property was wonderful. It had everything you needed. Plenty of room for everyone. The only thing was they had color toilet paper in the bathrooms which is no good for women. The property manager answered every question very quickly. Everything was within walking distance. Really no need for a car, which was super expensive. I would for sure rent the house again.

We had 1 hiccup with the gate entrance/exit (with only 1 individual), but that was taken care of. Location is great, walking distance to the main area and restaurants, very safe for our family. A suggestion, if the number to the Playacar taxi service could be provided, would help out a lot, but we made it work. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Stayed here for 5 days with a few friends. The home was well stocked with anything you need. The cleaning staff everyday was a MUST HAVE, as was the pool company. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back again! The home was a close walk to downtown, and we enjoyed everything about it.

The house was perfect for our large family vacation. The large kitchen is well stocked, perfect for cooking, lots of space for everyone. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone. The home was very well kept and clean.

We had an outstanding time in Play thanks to Myrna and her team. The house was perfect for our extended family of 9 people. It is located in a quiet corner of the Playcar residential complex, but still within an easy walk of the beach and the strip. The pool and hot tub were constantly in use, and the back yard is truly beautiful. All the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the appliances and services all worked perfectly for out stay. The house was cleaned top to bottom every and and when the BBQ ran out of propane we had a new tank in less than 20 minutes. Myrna helped us find a local cook who made a Mexican dinner for us each night. The food was fantastic and Christmas dinner in particular was outstanding. We were very impressed. I have no trouble recommending the property to anyone else looking for a place to stay in Playa with their family. We would definitely stay there again.

We brought 7 adults and 2 children to the home and it was a great spot for us to call home base, especially for the value. The kitchen is open, the bedrooms are cool, and the outdoor space is brilliant for relaxing. Communication was prompt and everything was tended to immediately. Would stay here again.

Everything was great with one exception of being told we could reach out to Claudio the property manager at any time and when we tried to call a few times, the second time, he told us not to call...only use text. Odd even though we spoke to him in Spanish . Other than that it was awesome. The cleaning lady was super nice and very attentive.

This is the perfect space for 12 girls, the pool, cool tub are fun!! Plenty of kitchen space for cooking, great outside grill. Close to walking into town, safe and comfortable surroundings. The only drawback is no air in the common area and August is super hot but the bedrooms are comfortable at night for sleeping. Maid service was nice to have. We had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing your lovely home! 😎�

This is a beautiful home. The location is perfect. You can walk to town or to the beach. When we arrived, the house was very clean, but also very warm. There is air con in the bedrooms, but there is none in the common areas. The kitchen, dining room and lounge have fans, but get warm. We turned the air on in the bedrooms and that helped to cool everything down. We are a family of 15. There is plenty of room in the house. We never felt crowded. As other reviewers said, a couple of the bedrooms are small, the beds were firm, but comfy. Myrna was very responsive and put an extra bed in the twin room, which worked out perfect for 6 of our kids. The kitchen is well supplied. The two refrigerators are great. Everything worked. If we had a question we texted Claudio who responded quickly. The maid service was a little hit and miss. She was there for a couple of hours on weekdays. We are used to doing things for ourselves, so it was a treat having someone make the beds, do the dishes if there were any, and sweep the floors, however she would take used towels, and not replace them, or she would take the dirty towels in a bathroom, and roll them up and put them together, so we didn't know which towel was ours. We used the washer, dryer, but it is small and slow We had the chef, Lorena, prepare 3 meals for us., another treat for us. That was the best. She would prepare, serve and clean up. It was perfect, delicious, and the price is great. I recommend. The pool was great. A pool man came every morning, cleaned the pool and surrounding area. We used the pool every day. The kids loved seeing iguanas and Agouti in the garden. There were a few hiccups - if you have them prestock the kitchen, make sure you are clear on what you want. There was a mis-communication on our order and several things were missing or replaced with something else. It is a great service, but be clear on what you want. Overall, we had a wonderful, unforgettable vacation. My grandkids loved this vacation and this home. They like to "leave their mark" wherever we go. This year they decorated a variety of shells and made an arrangement para la casa. Thank you Myrna. You are great. I hope you enjoyed your Viking vacation. We will be back. **One huge disappointment and it has nothing to do with the house - beaches all over Playa Del Carmen are covered with seaweed. They try to control it, but it is terrible and makes swimming at the beach very uncomfortable and extremely disappointing. **

The house was exactly as described. Every day there was a cleaner for the house and the pool. Everything was very clean. Only disadvantage, not each taxi comes by the control plant into this residential area. It is easier to walk the 10 minutes to the checkpoint and take a taxi from there.

We loved our time spent here and this was the perfect house for our family vacation. From the beginning to the end, Myrna the owner was so responsive, helpful, professional, and accommodating. This place was just what we were looking for when we were planning our trip to Playa Del Carmen. Great Location, shops and restaurants were only a 10-15 minute walk away. Even with local shops nearby, it did not feel that way while we were at the house, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. It felt like we were away from it all... in our own tropical paradise. The house was clean and was exactly as described. We loved that the home was very spacious with more than enough rooms, beds, towels and bathrooms for our family of 13, our stay here was very comfortable. My in laws were with us, it was nice to have bedrooms on the main floor, so they would not have to go upstairs. Only one thing, we couldn’t get hot water in the upstairs shared shower… our teens shared that shower and made it through, but, honestly that is the only thing I could think of that was a little bit of an issue. Everything else was perfect. Kitchen was very well-equipped. We definitely used the kitchen a lot since there were pots, pans, plates, coffee pot and everything cleaned and ready to use. After our long days touring the town we enjoyed coming home lounging in the beautiful backyard sitting area, the pool and Jacuzzi were great. At the house we also had beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and beach gear available to use which we loved because we didn’t have to spend extra money on rentals or purchasing new ones. We really liked having only to drive less than ten minutes to get to the shopping plazas and grocery stores since it was all close by. All in all, staying here was simply perfect and will definitely recommend this place for big families or groups. Thank you Myrna for everything! We enjoyed every bit our vacation home.

Home was very nice, large enough for a family of 13. Well stocked with all home needs. Hot tub was great. The swimming pool was nice but not heated it will be great for warmer weather. House keeping was wonderful. Thank you for making our Christmas vacation nice.

A good property and location for the area. Three of the bedrooms are excellent with full baths. A fourth bedroom is off the kitchen through the laundry area, not nearly as nice as the other three. Two separate bedrooms work for kids. Overall a good place to stay.

Everything in this house was perfect, we was a group of 8 and the space was marvelous and clean. Beds were really comfortable and the house is beautifully furnished and organized, you have a welcoming and warm feeling there even though its big. The staff were easy and good to have contact with, the cleaner were great and helpful. Own pool and jacuzzi is a wonder, even if it is possible to walk to the beach. Toilets and showers worked as they should. The location is great! It is really easy to get around and to the city from here, 15 minute walk to a supermarket which is super cheap compared to the touristic streets in city. Kitchen has all necessary tools for cooking at home if one would like to do that. I'll recommend this house for who ever, best in bigger group probably since there is a lot of space.

I recommend this house to everyone. The house is better than the photos. It's big and has enough space for the family. I love the hot tube and the pool. Everything was clean and in good conditions. My family and I had a great experience. We are sure that we will come back. Myrna is a wonderful host, she will help you in everything you need.

Relatively short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Property has everything you need to enjoy the tropical carribean location, fruit trees in the back yard attract birds and animals. Pool is nice size for family to enjoy. The only drawback is that while the 3 king bedrooms are nice master suites, the other rooms are not really suitable for adult couples as they are small. The room with twin beds serve as a pass through to access a master bedroom. The living room which can be closed off and used as a bedroom is a pass through to access a queen bedroom. The other queen bedroom is located off the laundry room, does not have luxurious appeal as it feels dark and cramped. The issue with bedrooms was easily overcome. The property was perfect for our large family gathering. We loved our vacation. Great value!. Myrna was wonderful throughout our transaction.
