Things i like most is there is plenty of room, bathroom counter space and a king size bed. It is on the 3rd floor so it is quiet but there are several flights of stairs to haul your stuff up and down.

Walking distance to Country Club Plaza, easy to find, great access to many things to do. Property interior was well-kept, neighborhood was nice, but complex was a bit run down (like discarded mattresses in the parking lot one day and heavy smokers cussing in the courtyard). Overall, I'd stay again without hesitation.

Loved the city! Great location, felt safe in neighborhood. Nice décor, patio is a plus. There is an audible hum coming from the roof top air conditioning units that made it harder for us to fall asleep. (this VRBO is on the top/3rd floor) Coffee pot did not work!? Parking spaces are very tight so we ended up parking on the street which worked out best for us.

The first issue we had with the property was before we even arrived. We were to check on Friday afternoon. By Friday morning we still had not received check in information from the owner. When we reached out via email, their reply was "check-in information was sent it yesterday at 9:42 maybe check your spam folder" Well obviously we did not receive it, so why not just send it again rather than making a moot point that you had already sent it? We then replied that we had checked all folders and had not received an email, but we heard nothing back. We reached out a couple of more times and finally about 30 min out from our ETA, we reached out to VRBO and asked them to contact the owner on our behalf. The cleanliness of this property was on point which usually goes a long way with me, but comfort was a different issue all together. There is something wrong with the bed (as mentioned in a previous review so it should have been addressed). It is uncomfortable and noisy. I agree that is the springs and/or the frame are broken and need to be fixed prior to renting the property out again. I ended up moving to the couch which was also a problem because there is no extra bedding other than pillows in the condo. And the noise from the air conditioning unit on the roof is just unbelievable!! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay, this is not the place for you! On Saturday night there was apparently a pre and after party held in the courtyard area. About 10:00 the noise from the courtyard was extremely loud and again sometime in the middle of the night. (around 2:00 am). Interesting since the condo information packet warns that you will be fined if noise is excessive. Had we been home, and had a disturbance this loud in our own neighborhood, we would have called the police! I also agree with a previous reviewer about the water in the shower. It takes a good 5-6 min for the water to come up to a bearable temperature. That is a lot of wasted water. The toilet seat is loose. The owners of the property need to spend 2-3 nights minimum in this unit. I think they would quickly see how they could improve the place. I am positive they would either fix the bed or buy a new one! We would not consider staying here again. But hey, the place was very clean and nicely decorated!

Great location and property was as described in listing. At night there was a constant and loud noise coming from rooftop air conditioning equipment which interrupted our sleep. Property owner responded and attempted to resolve but it was not resolved by the time we left. Other location and unit were great.

I can't fault cleanliness, communication with owner etc. but this property is so obviously run purely as a business, the owners clearly have no idea what the reality is of a stay here. While the location is awesome, just minutes walk from the plaza, there are a LOT of things to be wary of. Starting with the outside it's listed as gated... well there are gates but they don't have locks on them so what's the point, it's not something I'd mention in a listing. The parking spaces are narrow.... we were constantly ill at ease about our car being damaged and the lines obviously don't matter to the neighbors. People were not afraid to have loud conversations in the courtyard area at 5:30am Moving inside, the bedroom seems to be right under the air conditioners for the entire complex, we couldn't sleep at all. I took a decibel reading because it was so ridiculous and it was constantly over conversation level when lying in bed, double the normal volume you'd expect in a bedroom. The conditioner dispenser in the bathroom doesn't dispense. The floor lamp in the bedroom was unplugged because the switch is broken off. It takes roughly 5-6 minutes for the water to heat up in the bathroom to be usable as a shower. There is a shortage of cups in the unit, only 3 in total. The bed springs are not at all supportive and so we both got up, very early after a sleepless night, with aching backs. I didn't let the owner know about the problems during our stay although having read the previous reviews it's apparent that others have had similar issues previously. I have exchanged messages with the owner since returning home indicating that I'd be writing this objective review to help guide others, the response was underwhelming.... pretty much onto the next guest I suppose. I was told they'd personally been to the unit a week previously, they were aware of the floor lamp for example and it was on the list for attention. I was told that cups were likely in cabinets I had not looked in.... they aren't. Contrary to implied belief I'm not stupid. I'm told mattresses are a case of preference...I prefer to feel like the bed isn't going to fall apart. I'm told essentially that a gate is a gate.... I suppose technically there has to be a gate otherwise you'd be stuck behind a fence. Seemingly this is one of the higher rated units they have... you can find the rest on KCSTAY.COM. Be wary readers!!
