The two story main house offers an enormous, fully equipped kitchen featuring marble counter tops, large island, drawer microwave and Wolf oven. Enjoy your meals in the elegant formal dining area containing an oversized, solid wood dining table. The living area however, is the best spot in the house! With amenities including a wood burning fireplace and a flat screen TV, you will easily find this to be everyone’s favorite hangout room. Also residing downstairs is the master suite with plush king size bed and master bathroom providing you separate vanities, claw foot bathtub and steam shower. As you climb up to the second floor, you will find 3 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a loft with twin beds. As you explore the guesthouse, you find that it is not your average guesthouse. Although you enter on the ground level, this is an elevated guesthouse that resides on the second floor. Enter into the very spacious living area with hard wood floors, flat screen TV, and French doors that lead out to a huge balcony with tons of seating. This guesthouse also offers a uniquely convenient feature, another large and fully equipped kitchen! Just down the hall is a master bedroom with a king size bed, second bedroom with two queen beds, and a full bathroom. Celebrated my 70th Birthday in this beautiful house and surroundings with dear friends. Total perfection! None of us wanted to leave. House is magazine worthy and so well stocked. I just can’t say enough about this fabulous place.

Perfect property for size and ages of our family with ages ranging from 4-78. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. House was comfortable with space for all. Amazing gourmet kitchen for cooking Christmas dinner. Younger children loved the property - near the River and the abundant wildlife.

A group of us came to the area for my son’s graduation from TXST. This property was perfect for us! Some great memories were made here! The property is beautiful! The house is beautiful! The guest house is beautiful! The home is decorated to the 9’s, but is still comfortable and inviting. The beds were so comfortable! Nothing was forgotten. Great property. We felt special staying there. You can see the owner’s love for decorating and curated every detail intentionally.
Kitchen and fridges were not as clean as they should be - we let the property mgt co know so they could correct for future guests.

We have an annual family trip to Wimberley. This was our first time to stay at this property. The property is beautiful and fully stocked with whatever you might need for a family vacation. There are 13 of us, (6 kids and 7 adults) ranging in age from 7 years to 66 years, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved being able to sit together in the dining room for our family dinners! The water in front of the property was nonexistent due to the current drought, but a 10-minute walk upriver solved that problem. Blue Hole, and a day pass at 7A, also solved the low water situation. We truly enjoyed this location and had a great trip! Thanks! Angela M

Perfect place for a big group! Large table for dinners. Kids loved the fire pit and small rapids on the river right on the property. Big kids loved the deep part of the river with a rope swing 10 minute walk up river. 3 fridges to store food for a big group.

Love this house! It is big, spacious and has such peaceful nature right outside the door. The high ceilings make it feel luxurious. The kitchen is really stocked and has everything we needed. The deer are fireflies outside were magical. It was a beautiful weekend getaway for our group. Thank you. I will be back.

This is a very beautiful house with everything a large group of friends or family could ever need. The interior design is flawless and the large kitchen is a dream to cook in (Wolf ranges, tons of cookware, and multiple fridges). We adored this place and hope to return.

Rio de Suenos is truly a place to get away from it all and enjoy exactly what Wimberley and hill country is all about.
The property is spacious, quiet and full of amazing wildlife.
The home is a beautiful example of farmhouse chic and has an outstanding kitchen as well as all of the other amenities that make it feel like a home away from home.
My group has stayed here three times and plan to be back.
There are plenty of places to unwind and spread out. The carriage house makes it even more grand and spacious.
This is a wonderful home and property. Highly recommend

The property is impressively decorated and equipped. All essentials are well labelled and intuitively placed. My family was able to quickly settle in and enjoy our vacation.

The home and surrounding nature was beautiful. We had a wonderful time together celebrating our parents 67th anniversary. The only minor glitch was that when we booked we were somehow thinking that children under 12 were not included in the total count. The property can only accomodate16 overnight guests total ( we were 16 adults) so one of our families had to find another place to stay. They were able to join as day guests. Otherwise, it was amazing and we are grateful.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The river was very low and warm. That isn’t the owners fault but something to know. The ac unit stopped working one night in the main house. Property management was contacted but they did not follow up. Summer with no AC is not pleasant. Overall a good experience.

The house is incredible. The water right by the house was quite low but that may have been due to the drought. Regardless, it's a ten minute walk on the river to deeper water.

Beautiful Hill Country Home
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home! The kitchen is well-stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the deer and other wildlife and playing corn hole.
Since there is a drought, there was not much water in the section of the Blanco on the property, so that was kind of a bummer. Can't help Mother Nature, but it would have been good to realize ahead of time that this part of the Blanco isn't dammed up to make a swimming hole like some of the parts you pass by on the way to the house.

Gorgeous, Enchanted space. Great for groups!
We were a group of 15 women and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There is a magical quality to the home and the surrounding environment. The big windows everywhere, and doors that lead to a very private outdoor space... the river water...the deer that are everywhere...the fact that there is total privacy and nature everywhere makes this a very special place. I have already booked to stay again and would recommend this to anyone with a group or just looking to rejuvenate. Thank you!

Love this property! Will definitely rent again. The house is beautiful and the attention to detail is great. You don’t need a good knife or pair of scissors. It’s all there. Lovely decor and the best of the Texas Hill Country out every window and door.

Truly a Beautiful property and house, well stocked kitchen utensils and cooking pots and pans. Guest house was great, wonderful views. There is wildlife everywhere which is very fun. But here is the issue, and it’s a deal breaker from us returning.
The water is horrible. When showering or bathing it literally smelled like sewage and rotting eggs to the point that the last two nights we went without showers or baths. You’d wash and smell worse after. I reached out to the office twice on different days and they didn’t even respond. If they had addressed it, I’d be writing a different review. They didn’t though and it didn’t sit well with us given the price we paid. If that gets fixed, sure it’d be a fun time. Until it does though I’d recommend looking at other properties.

This house had everything! Literally all we needed to bring was clothes and food. The house is super spacious as well as the wrap around porch with plenty of space for everyone. The location is private, we loved the peace and quiet to just spend time together. We enjoyed Our weekend with family and friends and will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Texas getaway
This property far exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect getaway for our families to enjoy a relaxing Spring Break. The views were amazing, from the crystal clear water during the day to the starlit skies at night. It was the perfect vacation for our families, and I highly recommend it to others looking for a low-key getaway.

We loved the peaceful location, great kitchen and a table large enough for all of us to share a meal together. Had fun hiking along the river. The house was immaculate except the cleaning crew forgot the oven. We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location for the little ones and those who want to sit/relax in the calm flowing waters of the Blanco. Our one hiccup of the week was a brief outage with the internet. We reached out and it was resolved with help from the owner immediately. The facility itself is very spacious and it’s obvious the owner has a focused attention to detail.

Perfect location for the little ones and those who want to sit/relax in the calm flowing waters of the Blanco. Our one hiccup of the week was a brief outage with the internet. We reached out and it was resolved with help from the owner immediately. The facility itself is very spacious and it’s obvious the owner has a focused attention to detail.

Good for two families
Main house is roomy with a big kitchen, dining and lots of seats for lounging. The guest house seems quite a bit older and not nearly as nice. Overall nice accommodations in main house, great access for shallow river area for kids!

Great family tetreat
The spacious home and property provided the perfect setting for our family’s gathering. Although the river was low, we enjoyed the water and spent lots of time in the Blanco. The home is well stocked with everything we could need and was enjoyed by the extended family.

Overall a pleasant visit
For the most part, we had a pleasant experience here w/modern amenities and a very cool ac system. The owners have gone out of their way to create a country feel and overall clean house. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues. The house was not ready upon our initial arrival (I believe they were tending to a plumbing issue) but we did not have to wait long. Some food in freezer and garbage throughout property. Outside garbage was overfilled on arrival. We got locked in one bedroom and one bathroom during our stay and the clothes dryer did not work. The river was low and we had to walk through the water. A group of us girls/children were instructed by a neighbor that we were not allowed to be in the water where we were which was not pleasant. We were advised we were trespassing. I wish the boundary lines were more clear to us. The horseshoe pit advertised to us turned out to be on another neighbor's property so we could not see it. Definitely alot of space in this place. Even with these issues, it was a comfortable stay. I reported our issues once I got back (I could not get service). I think it would be helpful to include WHERE guests can swim out as the creek is just too low. The nearest swim spot seems to be privately owned also..so not sure.
