Nestled in Saint Simons Island, this attractive house for $897 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. *** PLEASE SUBMIT JUST ONE INQUIRY*** ***NO PETS*** . The Beach Walker Cottage is brand new to the vacation rental market on Saint Simons Island, Ga. Location, Location, Location just a short walk to everything you and your family will want to do while visiting Saint Simons Island. As you walk up the front stairs on to the porch you will find a swing and love seat. This is a perfect area to read a book, enjoy that morning cup of coffee or enjoy the cool evenings with your favorite cocktail while listening to some of the local music that is being played nearby. Once inside the front door you will notice your spacious living/ dining area. In the living area you will find a sofa, another sofa that turns into a bed, a couple of sitting chairs, large flatscreen television and half bath. There is a dining table that sits six and an eating bar that will seat five. The kitchen is well equipped with new stainless appliances including a under counter ice maker. Across from the kitchen there is a hallway where you will find the washer and dryer and entrance to the roomy master that is situated with a beautiful king bed, flat screen television, oversized tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink and large walk in closet. Thru the back glass doors you will find a roomy back porch with sitting chairs and your very own private pool This pool is 3ft deep and 20ft by 20ft. Perfect for relaxing after those long days at the beach. Around the pool there are four very nice lounge chairs for sunbathing. You will also find a table for four with umbrella and large gas grill. ** Pool can be heated for $75.00 per day or $300.00 per week.** The outside shower located to the right of guest house will come in handy when returning from the beach. Located in the rear is the two bedroom guest house with efficiency kitchen and small living area. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen tv and full bathroom. There is a small living area between the two bedrooms that is situated with two sitting/ sleeping pieces of furniture with a wall mounted flat screen tv. The kitchen area has a sink, coffee maker, small fridge and microwave. The Beach Walker Cottage is located in the heart of our local village area. The cottage sits on Ocean Blvd and is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, fishing pier, putt putt, light house and numerous shops and boutiques. This home will surely be a family favorite for years to come. *** Please inquire about our multiple week discounts.*** We would like to make your vacation as stress free as possible. Services that we offer for an additional charge include bike rentals, golf cart rentals, kayak tours, fishing excursions, sunset cruises, island trolley tours and much more. We can also have one of the local island chefs come to your home and prepare a meal for you and your guests. **Any of these services will need a seven to ten day advance notice during the summer season.** We also offers a grocery shopping service. For an additional fee, we will grocery shop for you and deliver to your home prior to your arrival. ** This service needs a 48 hour advance notice.**

We really enjoyed our first trip to St Simmon’s Island. Low key charm. The house and guest house were fantastic. We love to cook, so a large kitchen was a key factor. Stocked with all the basic supplies, could have a few more baking/serving ware for longer stays. Also really enjoyed the privacy when guests visited of the 2 bed guest house. Enjoyed the soaking tub in master bath and pool. The location was very convenient to restaurants, beach/oier and shops. We look forward to come back another time!

My family had an amazing time! We come to St Simons fairly often and we loved our stay this year. The location is spot on! And the layout of the house was perfect for my family of 6 and my mother (Gma). Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed hanging out and watching them in it. Can't wait to book another trip at this location!

My daughter and I had our annual vacation here and the cottage is just beautiful. We loved the pool and everything about it. We would recommend it to others and especially families or for a women's retreat. There's plenty of room and in walking distance to the restaurants, beach and stores. It was a lovely vacation. We especially loved the decor and the soothing color scheme throughout the house. We would return to this beautiful place.

Small group of young women stayed here in preparation for a wedding. The master bath alone made for excellent pictures. The kitchen was lovely and the pool in the middle was a nice touch. Two separate living areas as well!

This home is beautifully decorated, has everything you need for a short or longer term stay, and the separate guest house with a bathroom attached to each bedroom works out very well for everyone! The ability to walk to restaurants, the village and the beach is a major plus!

This was our first trip to St Simons Island. We rented this home based on the amenities and location. The day we were to arrive we got a call from the rental company that said the pool was not going to be open because the liner was being replaced. We received the call while sitting at the airport awaiting our flight to GA. We expressed our disappointment because the amenity that appealed to us the most was the fact that this home had a pool. There were many options for homes without pools (less expensive options) but we chose this one because our grandson is 2 and he would be visiting us at the home and we wanted to take him swimming. The response from the lady who called was "well you can cancel and come another time if you aren't satisfied with this"...again we are sitting at the airport. So I expressed that I felt we should be given some sort of discount if the pool isn't going to be functional. She said that couldn't happen and maybe the liner would come in before we left and they would come install it and then we could swim. I then sent a message through VRBO and Benji called us and his response was that I never stated in my request to rent that I was looking forward to being able to use the pool??? Now I didn't state that I was looking forward to being able to use the refrigerator but the assumption is that if they list there is a refrigerator that it would be a working refrigerator. When I came into the VRBO site today I see there was a review written in November that said the pool was closed when the person stayed here so the rental company knew this way before we arrived but chose not to tell us until the day we were to check in. When we talked to Benji, who we assumed was with Georgia Beach Rentals since that was the sign outside the home, he said he would talk to the owner and call us back the next day and we have yet to hear back from him 4 days later. Very disappointing experience and lack of customer service.
Otherwise the home was pretty nice except for the view of a big ugly hole in the back yard that we guess was the pool. The guest house bedrooms are very small and more suitable for young people or singles. The master shower also had a broken shower head. The location was great to walk to the pier and the lighthouse. Not great location for walking on or sitting on the beach.

It was the first trip to St. Simons Island for my wife and I. Saw this house was available. I told my wife I want to stay there. So Happy we did. The house was clean, well-stocked, bright and open, exactly as it was described. The location was perfect we walked to the pier, rode bikes, and walked to a different restaurant every night we were there. The owners were easy to talk with, the information we needed was available when appropriate and the check-out rules were simple and easy to follow. When we are in St. Simons again, we'll plan our vacation around when this house will be avaiable. It is my favorite house I've ever rented.

Great property and location. Living areas, kitchen and baths were very clean. The outside trash receptacles were completely full, making it impossible to remove all of our trash before we checked out.
The only hiccup was the pool and the cleanliness of it. Spoke with property manager the first afternoon of our arrival to inquire about the dirty pool and to see if we could pay to have it heated. I was told someone would be out the following morning (a Saturday). We saw someone arrive and they went to the outside pool unit and left very shortly after. The pool remained very dirty and was never heated. I followed up with another phone call Saturday afternoon and left a message. Never heard from the management company.
We did have a kiddo get sick our last night there and had to leave the house unexpectedly. We fit what we could in trash recepticals and wheeled them to curb before we left. We did leave a fridge full of unused unopened food in the hopes someone could use, but we would have thrown away if there was room in the rubbish bin.
Overall a great little place to stay with older kiddos!!

Pool house worked well for my daughters. Would recommend this property. We were in the area for a wedding at Sea Island, but may well rent it again.

We had a great stay at this property. Very close to the lighthouse, shops, and restaurants. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Spent every day relaxing on the back porch and swimming in the pool. Would definitely visit this property again in the future.

This property is gorgeous and so well decorated. We had such a fun and relaxing stay at this "home away from home." The main house and pool house are so well-decorated and incredibly clean. The kitchen is gorgeous!!! Also, I loved the option to use a gas grill, with propane (provided!). Cooking at this house was fun and made traveling with 2 kids under 4 so much easier.
Honestly, the only negative I have is the pool... I had communicated twice with property management that we intended to use the pool and I had seen previous reviews saying the pool was not clean. Well, we showed up and the pool was far from clean. There was sand on the bottom and a lot of leaves in it. Also, the liner needs replaced - it's falling off in places and is filthy. I was hesitant to let my kid swim because I was concerned about the chemicals and PH being unbalanced, however, it was hot and there was no keeping a 3 yo out of the pool, so he went in and had a good time, despite the condition of the pool. Ultimately, for the price of the rental and promoting the pool, I feel those issues should be addressed.
All of that said, I would 100% book this property again if the pool issues can be remedied or if management will agree to have the pool cleaned on arrival day.

This property is located in walking distance to everything you need. The setup of the home is great with the separate attached two rooms and the main room in the larger part of the house. Very clean and updated property. I liked everything about it. My only issue is the VRBO is not longer as great as it use to be with all the fees from the host and from VRBO. I liked the place and would recommend but the extra fees are becoming a joke. Still, five stars!

Great Location
Overall this is an ideal location within walking distance to the main drag. The main house has a very large common space which was very conductive to congregating for our group. However he 2 bedrooms in the pool house are very small so I would only recommend these be used for kids versus couples as we had- it was way too cramped for 2 adults.
however, It was disappointing and frankly pretty surprising, that a home that required a full week rental and was very expensive included the absolute bare minimum in terms of household essentials such as trash bags, toilet paper and kitchen cooking utensils. We contacted the property manager and asked about these items and they said that they provide “a starter kit”- that literally includes 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 kitchen trash bags and 2 roll of paper towels. We certainly didn’t expect it to be fully stocked for a week but it felt sub par to other rentals we’ve had and cheap in the grand scheme of things.
There are virtually no usable pots and pans in the kitchen and there are no beach items such as folding chairs. Given this is advertised as a family friendly home in a beach town- it seems to be a big miss as clearly every family who rents would need these items.

Fabulous home close to the village and beach!
What an amazing home! The location, the decor, the spaces, the pool, everything you need in a beach home. So close to the village- steps away from shopping and restaurants. A short couple of blocks to the beach- we walked or used our golf cart rental to go everyday. Front porch swing with my coffee every morning. The teenagers had a blast having their own space in the pool house- it was perfect. TV's in every room. All of the furnishings and beds were very comfy. The owner's and manager were super quick to check in and respond with the minor questions we had. Would highly recommend this rental and will definitely be back!

There is only one bedroom in the house and then there is a guest house out back with two bedrooms. The reason we chose this home was the pool but it was not cleaned until the 4th day of our 6 day stay.
