MHTE1172K91001031701 An exceptional traditional cycladic first floor summer residence,but with contemporary facilities,exactly by the sea and its own direct access to sea,designed and built by the owner (civil engineer) who lives in the ground floor. It is highly recomended as an ideal place with a high privacy for the quests, either for families with max four children( plus a baby or infant) or for one or two couples,or singles. Baby cot, baby chair,baby relax seat, baby stroller are provided upon request with no charge. From the moment you enter the house you get the feeling of being in your home. During your stay ,all the needs of bottled water,all kinds of coffee,tea,sugar,juices are provided with no charge. Fresh fruits, a bottle of wine and all you should need for your first breakfast (milk, bread, butter,eggs,honey,jam,flakes,edam cheese,ham,cookies) the day after your check in, are also offered with no charge for your welcome at home. The living-room has traditional hand made furniture as well as the kitchen-dining area. The roof is wooden in all over the house. The white painted walls, the light green wooden doors and windows, the colorful linen and curtains, the high quality anatomic mattresses in beds and other small decorative and practical details, make you feel like being at your home. In the living -room area we can add one single bed with anatomic mattress 90x190cm,upon request. At the ground level where is the garden,there is a place with a charcoal BBQ,so you can enjoy to grill meat,fishes,vegetables. The privacy by any meaning at the outside area and verandas is exceptional and a very good reason for everybody to stay in this house. Another good reason to stay in this house is the experience of the fantastic view. In the early morning you can really watch the sun rising,a spectacle that you can never get enough of it even if you watch it everyday. During the night from the two level veranda you can relax and enjoy with your company in high privacy the moon rising and be overwhelmed by the full moon,the tranquility and serenity of the summer nights. Along with all that you have a panoramic view of the village. ACCESS TO THE SEA: In additional to all the above, one of the most important advantage of the house is its own direct access to the sea,either for swimming or for snorkeling along the rocky seashore and cave close to the house. Early morning or late afternoon swim in front of the house is an experience you will enjoy every day of your stay in the house. One stair leads you from the floor veranda to the big ground veranda.Going down a few steps from the ground veranda you reach a small beach with smoothed pebbles and by making one small step you find yourself in the sea water. Ten meters away,on your left hand as you watch the beach there is a concrete made jetty that helps you to sun exposure or to fasten safely a small boat. If you walk by the seashore or the road and after 300m from the house you reach the long sandy and tree-shaded beach of POLLONIA. INSIDE DESCRIPTION: The house is 82sqm with two bedrooms, living room, dining area with kitchen and two bathrooms. The queen bedded room has a door which leads to a balcony facing north the ground garden and a window facing west the ground garden. The two twin bedded room has a window facing west the ground garden and a door which leads to the first level veranda facing south the sea and the village . The living room apart from the main door(entrance) has a window and a door that leads you to the two level veranda facing south the village,the big ground veranda and the magnificent, extremely beautiful seaview. One part of the veranda is sun protected with wood ceiling and the rest of it with a big umbrella. Babi and Maria were amazing hosts. easy check in process. fridge stocked with fruit, bread, cheese, deli and water. quiet location. perfect views of the bay. plenty of room for the 4 of us. very clean. Maria had great recommendations for beaches, restaurants. working washer. plenty of linens,towels, toiletry. easy parking. easy access to Pollonia. highly recommend this property. no complaints. Maria could not have a been more gracious host. I would stay here again without a second thought.

We loved our stay at Babis and Maria’s property. The apartment lived up to all our expectations. The location is amazing, directly on the water with a view of the bay. We swam out in front. Compared to other places we’ve stayed the facilities are luxurious and roomy. The hosts are extremely generous. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

I can not recommend this place enough. It’s truly spectacular with stunning sea views and modern, clean interiors and the owners are the best hosts! They stocked the fridge with the basics to get us through,which I’ve never witnessed in my years of using VRBO rentals. We loved it so much and will be back!! They also gave us great recommendations for the island, which helped curate the perfect visit!

This place was everything we wanted and more. It was very clean and an amazing view. The outside seating area right on the water was perfect for our stay at home dinner night. Babis provided personalized recommendations for our short stay and was very helpful in picking restaurants and the best beaches to visit. Also, he left many ingredients to make breakfast and a bottle of wine. Additionally, they provided separate bath and beach towels and even 2 beach bags for us to use during our stay.
Overall, I definitely recommend and would love to stay here again next time we visit!

Stay here ! This is one of the best home rentals I’ve stayed at ever. The house and view were excellent. The shower was amazing. It’s super close to town and very walkable. And the host Babis was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. Absolutely zero complaints. So many pros. Book this place. You will not regret it.

My only regret is that I wish we were able to stay longer. Babis provided us with such a welcoming environment, giving us a great introduction to Milos. He provided us with so much direction, the best beaches to visit, where to go eat in town, and what monuments to visit. He even went out of his way to help us with our ATV rentals and car transport. Communication was outstanding, Babis was highly responsive to all of our questions and inquiries. The home was an excellent stay for me and my family. Right on the ocean front! We enjoyed the location in Pollonia, secluded, with an easy walk into town. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation!

A little piece of PARADISE!
The property was beautiful and very relaxing. Babis treats you like family. The place was immaculate and the refrigerator was fully stocked with snacks and breakfast food which was very much welcomed after our long journey from Athens. We are hoping to return one day to this property and the generous hospitality of its owner. He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and although our stay was short it gave us a window into the true spirit of Milos and its people.

Pollonia Paradise
We stayes at Babis's home on the bay and it was magical. The property is located right on the bay, you walk down the stairs and there is the clear blue water. We loved the multiple sitting areas to take in the views and enjoy our meals. My children loved the location as it was close enough to walk to town for food and ice cream. My husband and I loved that there were multiple restaurants to choose from- all with delicious food. The bathrooms in the villa have been redone and now we have inspiration for remodeling our own bathrooms at our house. The villa is appointed with everything to get you started on your stay. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful stay in Pollonia Beach, Milos
We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our trip with our 3 kids. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved eating breakfast on the deck and playing in the water that is accessible for the back steps. Babis was a an amazing host, very friendly and helpful and provided everything we need to make our stay comfortable, including a fridge filled with breakfast items, fruit, juice and coffee. Location was also great. There’s a sand beach & playground within a 5 minute walk and several restaurants there as well. You’ll have a wonderful stay here!

But when we arrived after midnight on a nighttime ferry from Crete, Babis and his wife were there to greet us. They gave us a quick tour and tutorial and we fell into sweet slumber as waves lapped at the shore behind the house.
2. We awoke to a kitchen stocked with all we could need: coffee, tea, milk, eggs, bread, juices. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck overlooking the harbor while we got our bearings and planned our stay on Milos.
3. The town of Pollonia was a short walk away. It has a grocery, a pharmacy, car and quad rental agencies and a variety of restaurants specializing in seafood, wine, sushi, Greek food and pizza.
4. We waded into the water off the back stairs and snorkeled around the boats anchored nearby. The harbor was so peaceful.
5. Best of all, Babis was there to offer advice on where to go and where to eat — and where not to. It’s hard to imagine returning to Milos and staying anywhere other than Babis’s place.

Babis, the homeowner, and his wonderful wife made our stay even more comfortable than the beautiful home already did. They were super helpful and gave recommendations as well providing us with ample food and drinks for our stay. The view was fantastic and the house is beautiful. I’m taking some pointers of our vacation rental we run here in the States. Wonderful people and a wonderful home, highly recommended.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful, convenient, and pleasant place to stay. Babis and his wife were amazing, attentive hosts- and Babis graciously helped us out of more than one travel snafu. They even stocked the fridge for us with fresh fruit, water, and various other staples. The unit is literally on the ocean- you walk down the back stairs into the water. The deck has stunning views at all hours. The location is perfect- quiet and residential, but an easy quick walk to the center of town. The place is very comfortable, clean, and spacious, and comes with a new washing machine so you can do laundry and pack less. We honestly did not want to leave!! Could have easily stayed much longer, and will definitely be back again.

This was a delightful place to stay on the island of Milos. We were tremendously happy with our stay here. Perfect location with a gorgeous view off our deck of the water and boats. You could walk or have less than a minute to the quaint town for restaurants on the water, take a boat trip, groceries and some shops too. My sister and I loved swimming right from the bottom of the steps of our place.
The hosts Maria & Babis were amazingly attentive to all of our needs. They did our grocery shopping before we arrived which was super helpful. They had maps and suggestions for rental cars/beaches and restaurants. They were delightful to talk with as well and Babis was quick to respond to my many questions about Milos Via emailing through VRBO site.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this clean and beautiful home. Air conditioning in all rooms was a big treat when we were out exploring all day in the heat. It was hard to leave!

The villa is well located, an easy walk to the charming harbour of Pollonia. The view is breathtaking. Everything was perfect. A great location to explore the stunning island of Milos. I Have stayed in 10 or so apartments throughout Europe and this is far and away the best one. Why?
First the location. Four minute walk to a sandy beach eight minute walk to town. The town has everything you want and need. But the apartment itself is very very quiet. All you hear at night is the waves on the Aegean beach and the wind.
Second Babis and Maria are wonderful hosts. He met us at the port and they provided groceries the first night so we were set the next morning for breakfast and lunch.
Third everything in the apartment worked. When was the last time that happened?
Fourth the view from the apartment terrace was superb.
Last, the library had Ken Kesey and Jack Kerouac. Even if the beats are not your cup of tea you have to admit this is classier literature then you find in most places.
All in all it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.. Worth every penny.

The apartment has the most amazing view to the ocean and the bay of Pollonia, you can swim in the ocean directly from the apartment which we did daily to cool down and we all loved it. You can walk easily to the tavernas for lunch or dinner and we found all of them to be very good. Babis can give you a great list of suggested places, all of which we tried and can agree they all have great food at decent prices. Hire a care and drive around the island of Milos, grab a ferry to Kimolos and you will have a fantastic time. We will definitely come back.

Fabulous views! Wonderful stay.
Great apartment overlooking the bay - very private - good cooking facilities - wonderful terrace for relaxing and shaded for eating - easy stroll into town - Rifaki was our favourite restaurant, great food, lovely staff and less pretentious than a couple of others. We shall return and would not stay anywhere else than this apartment - it is not fancy but absolutely delivers. Babis and Maria were extremely helpful and approachable.

Perfect Pollonia!
We had an excellent time staying in Babis’ home. Everything was as described. The location was beautiful and the home was very comfortable. What a view! Babis provided wonderful recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Pollonia was a great place to base our visit to Mílos, we were glad to have rented a (small!) car for our family of four to explore the island. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic place
Babis’ house is really special. Our group of 2 couples was sooooo comfortable there. The house is a beautiful example of a Greek island home, very “of the place”, and feels more like a friend’s home than a place you are renting. The patio and views are as fabulous as they look in the photos. It is also very thoughtfully equipped for your vacation stay (beach towels, kitchen tools, good hair dryer, washing machine, drying rack) and was stocked with excellent fruit, juices, water and some pantry staples. We actually cooked a couple of nights and had all the cookware and tools we needed to do so (we bought food at a small upscale grocery in Adamas a block from the big super market). Babis was a super host and provided excellent recommendations. Pollonia has wonderful restaurants, all within walking distance and Adamas is less than 15 minutes away by car. We had to drag each other away when it was time to leave. Truly outstanding.

Still the best place in Milos!

The fact that we returned to the same place shows how much we appreciate it.
"L'appartement est très agréable, bien organisé et dispose de tout ce qu'il faut. La terrasse est évidemment l'endroit de prédilection pour la vue sur le petit port et la plage de Pollonia. On descend quelques marches et on est dans une eau bleue transparente.
Babis a été charmant, il a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit le meilleur possible.
L'île de Milos était très agréable début mai: pas trop de monde, donc circulation très facile; plages fabuleuses et presque seulement pour nous (sauf Sarakiniko, où il y a toujours du monde à cause des plongeurs); beaux sites à visiter; mer un peu fraîche mais on peut se baigner tous les jours sans difficulté.
Pollonia est pour nous le lieu de prédilection, notamment pour ses restaurants en bord de mer. On vous conseille en particulier Armenaki, plats délicieux et choix de vins de toute la Grèce éclairé par un sommelier super compétent.
Bref, un séjour parfait, merci encore!"
The weather was a bil colder this year but with a lot of sunshine and we could swim in the Aegean sea without difficulty.

Awesome Stay
Our favorite four days of our Greece visit was at Babbis’ home! It was beautiful and well stocked with water, juice, fruit, and wine. Babbis was very helpful and hospitable. We hope to return someday soon!

Wonderful!
This is a beautiful place to stay while in Milo. There is a lot of room in the villa, both inside and out. The view is wonderful and being able to swim off the tiny beach right in front of the villa was a big plus for us.
Babis, our host, was also great. He had lots of good tips on things to do and places to eat in Milos.

House perfectly located in Pollonia with 2 separate bed rooms and a wonderfull terrasse to have lunch or for apero time with direct access to the see and a view on the port

Exceptional property!
This property is exceptional, with a view to die for! Babis thought of every detail to make us feel at home, including leaving fruit, coffee, wine and juices in the refrigerator on arrival. Definitely a place for the discerning traveler. The views are spectacular from multiple terraces and it's an easy walk into the charming village of Pollonia with its variety of waterfront restaurants. I swam every day immediately in front of the house. Babis was a friendly, communicative host and we felt right at home. Thank you, Babis!
