Big clean room good, located for beach sight seeing and a good breakfast in the morning.

Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us, from early check in to storing our luggage for a few hours on check out.
The generator was a great help with loadshedding as we were both working from the hotel.
Easy to walk to places, great burgers.
Plugs... unable to charge phones next to the bed.

Location convenience. Nice setting overlooking the ocean
On my last stay there, the one before this for which I was not asked for a review somehow, I had booked and paid for a sea view room. When I checked in the lady at reception gave me an old room in the rear. The hotel was empty btw. When I showed her my reservation that showed a sea view room, she said I must take it up with booking.com because her system showed a standard room. I had to demand she call management. When a manager appeared she started talking to him in Xhosa. I told her she was rude, to address him in English in my presence. They acceded to my demand reluctantly

Breakfast and snacks were great, and the room very comfortable, plenty hot water too! The terrace was really lovely, with a spectacular view and the pool was sparkling. All waitrons were very friendly and helpful, especially Lindile, he provided a speedy service when serving snacks and drinks on the terrace and in the bar area.
We relaxed on the terrace on both days we stayed at the hotel, and the covered terrace area is ideal for alfresco dining, which is protected from the wind.
My brother visited us whilst we stayed at the hotel and we enjoyed some cocktails and drinks in the bar. We also enjoyed our short walk to the beach area and tidal pool. Shops and other restaurants are also close-by. We definitely would recommend the hotel for a short stay in PE.
A ramp is required up to the rooms and hotel facilities - my elderly mother was with us and she struggled with the steep stairs. A TV in the rooms would also be useful for catching up on news and sports, however there are 2 TVs in the bar area which was helpful.
Would not recommend hotel for elderly or disabled people.

Liked the sea view on the deck
When we go for supper, then the hotel had tourists who made a big noise. So we asked to be moved to a quiet place which is the bar. So please next time, move couples rather to the bar/quiet area than letting them sit among tourists that makes such alot of noise

The view from the balcony of our room was stunning.
There is nothing to dislike

it’s a good place to stay in, next to the beach, food is always delicious.
Old fan in the room, making noise during the night, the bathroom always smells bad.

Comfy bed. Ok for an overnight stay.
There was no toilet paper, shower cap, refreshments (tea, coffee etc.) - I had to go downstairs and ask The balcony looks straight onto the pathway that staff use to get around, so not much privacy there. Dinner was ordered as a medium steak with mashed potatoes, received a well done steak with chips. I would not rate this establishment 4 stars.
