Plezierige hotel met fraaie binnentuin voor stellen zonder oudere kinderen.

Fraaie binnentuin waar ontbeten kon worden of gebruik gemaakt kon worden van comfortabele fauteuils. Klein maar prettig zwembad. Over de algehele setting was goed nagedacht met tropische planten en bomen. Een aantal restaurants waren in de nabijheid.

De badkamer rook naar schimmel, de kamer was erg klein. De kleine aangehechte privé patio was geheel ommuurd maar nodigde niet uit om er te gaan zitten. Die ruimte hadden ze beter bij de kamer kunne trekken.

Madreselva was a real find.

Staff was terrific. Breakfast was excellent especially the yogurt snd fruit.

Coffee could give been better.

Cozy Hotel with good vibes

The breakfast was great and was included in the reservation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big, and we had an interior small patio, which was very cute. The beach was quite close. The hotel has a very nice vibe.

The WiFi was not very good in the room, it was better in the patio.

The most incredible breakfast we have had in Spain!! Everything you could want and more. Beautifully furnished and decorated room with private patio, cleaned and refreshed each day. Comfortable bed. Very clean and well kept. Gorgeous bar and public patio area with flowers spilling down from everywhere. Cute little pool (if you are feeling brave for the cold water) and sunbeds. Right opposite one of the entrance to the beach and promenade. The staff are so helpful and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Tank for hot water is small so only enough hot water for one person to shower before heating again. WiFi is good in bar area, but not good in the room. More expensive than we have paid anywhere else, but the pool and the breakfast helps make up for this.

Wonderful small hotel

Small hotel close to the beach with an extraordinary breakfast. Rooms are nice but need some updating. Parking is free.

We’ve been to Madreselva before and I really hope to go again. It’s fabulous.

Delicious breakfast. Plenty of fruit, croissants, choice of breads, freshly squeezed orange juice. Served in a beautiful garden location, absolutely lovely. Lovely relaxing pool, lovely seating areas in a courtyard tropical like setting.

The room was small. Very small terrace. A bottle of water was available on arrival day but not after that. As the tap water was not drinkable I think it should have been supplied daily.

Amazing experience in Caños de Meca.

The staff was super friendly, the hotel is very well located near to the beach and has a lovely swimming pool.

Superb

Good location opposite a lovely beach and La Quillo beach bar. Walking distance to many good restaurants, in particular La Pequena Lulu, Los Castillejos and La Brenda. Good local restaurant across the road. Lovely shaded gardens and breakfast area.

Small gem located on a beautiful beach

What a gem! This was our favorite property we stayed at during a trip around Spain, the property and rooms were exceptionally clean we loved the courtyard where we spent mornings over the yummy homemade breakfast and evenings hanging out as a family. It’s a short walk across the street to the beach and the staff were all super friendly.

The only improvements would be that the WiFi is not accessible in the rooms and that the beds were a little too firm for my taste (although as Americans we found this throughout Spain, so I’m surmising we like softer beds and what is the norm here)

The staff and the reception are amazing! Pool and breakfast lovely as well (and soy milk too:)…so nice!

The walls are very thin unfortunately as stated in other reviews, and you hear everything. Also, the bathtub we requested was wonderful and clean, but water was rusty at first and small water tank , so a very late bath.

Everything was great except the walls of the room are so thin that we could hear people talk till 1:30 am and obviously if you don’t sleep, you can’t enjoy your next day.

The staff! They were extremely helpful and lovely, our air con didn’t work during the early hours of the morning and we reported it on the day which was a Sunday, and it was fixed immediately! The breakfast was delicious and we felt very safe re Covid, the room was very clean and we were there for 2 nights, it was serviced and smelt like disinfectant when we came back from the beach so we know it had been cleaned thoroughly.
