the rule claims that you can’t smoke on your balcony, but NOT all of the guests respect this rule and you can be waked up in the night by a smoke smell an case if your neighbours would decide to treat them with a night cigarette))))

Our stay at Hostal Fortuna was very nice. The room was very beautiful and clean. All in all the whole hotel-site is made very tasteful! Also the stuff is very friendly and it has a very nice atmosphere!

great place

A beautiful hostel in Canos, green and wide common areas, parking is available, good coffee and breakfast is served with reasonable prices. walk barefoot to the beach shores. super clean (daily) and nice staff.

there were lots of connectivity issues, internet was on and off but mostly off. it created issues with payments and also I had to work for few hours but I couldn’t. apparently it’s a known issue during non-summer times (oct- may). the staff was really helpful and seemed frustrated with it as well. after the technician arrived it was up again but then back off ;(

beautiful garden, location close to beach and nice surrounding, private parking

unfortunately we got the appartment instead of the booked superior room. In the appartment double beds are like in standard double room. Those are horrible small (130cm!) and not very comfortable. Appartment was also a bit shabby. Some things were renovated but lots of details are still old.

Lovely place, would definitely stay again.

Lovely bright room, perfect location.

The tap water in Los Caños can’t be drunk, so we had to buy water in from plastic bottles. It would be nice to have access to filtered water at the hotel, to be environmentally friendly.

Friendly staff. Good to have booked a terrace. Very good breakfast

The public road outside the hotel and into the village needs better maintenance . I found the graffiti detracted from the place. Hotel owners need to get together and smarten the place up.

It is a beautiful hotel just a few minutes from the beautiful beach. It was clean and special, and we loved it! Free parking on the venue, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff!

Faultless

Granted I am not the precious type, and when the basics are done well I am happy. But there really is nothing to criticise about my stay at Fortuna. And when I consider the value for money it deserves a little wax on my lyrics. Cannot miss with this place. Top marks to all

Lovely stay at this hidden gem

Lovely room with a gorgeous terrace, spotlessly clean and newly refurbished. Great bonus to have a fridge in the room. Shower was excellent. Ideal location, lovely and quiet but walkable to bars and restaurants and just a stone's throw from the beach. A hidden gem!

Location, shady patio area.

Double bed was really small. Paper tgin walls could hear other guests coverstion in room behind ours. Also Booking.com photos of balcony are a bit misleading as chairs and table not on a balcony but on communal walkway to front of rooms.

Our new favourite place in Caños

There's a direct access to the beach opposite the property. Rooms with a view are amazing, as well as the rooms with a little backyard. Breakfast menu is lovely, amazing assortment of teas and organic bread available.
