A small pearl, old but beautiful hotel with nice swimming pools

My favorite place to stay in Pattaya.

I have stayed here on several occasions and have always been treated to an enjoyable time there . The Staff top to bottom goes well beyond what is expected at a top of the line property such as this. My room included club access which enabled me to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Once again the staff is the star. A shuttle is also available that goes to the Central Mall, can be reserved and is a nice perk.

The only drawback is no beach access l, a nice beach but can't swim due to rock. Several swimming pools are available when you need to take a dip.

Watch out your bill - the numbers may not be correct

At the check-in, the staff tried to charge 400 dollars more than what I owed by error. Without my scrutiny and arguing, I would have ended up over-paying. The manager gave me $35 credit for compensating for the inconvenience. 5 members of our family spent 30 minutes explaining why the numbers were not right at 11:30 pm at night, after 9 hour travelling by air and taxi. She could not comprehend what I tried to explain as her English was not fluent. She realized herself she made the error only after calling her colleague. Compensate such tiredness and embarrassment with a peanut money, $35? Folks, give me a break. Intercontinental Pataya is not comparable to other Intercontinental I stayed such as the one in Danang. They are not worth the money.

Amazing place to relax and forget about everything,

Amazing, privacy and comfort

Almost nothing , except for the last day. We called reception to order the club car to 11:45 to our room to help us to bring the luggage, but they did not arrive.

朝食のクオリティーがとても高い、ブールのバーの対応がとても早いこと、冷たい水のサービスがとても嬉しい、カクテルのクオリティーも高い、トイレが清潔、送迎対応が良い、２４時間対応のインルームダイニングが良かったです

プールが水の温度が高く、日中は水温３０度以上なので快適ではない、アメニティーは何もないこととコンビニもないので忘れると外に買い物に行く必要がある。立地的に海では泳ぐことはできない。海沿いのレストランはドレスコードがあるので注意が必要

Will be back again

Great swimming pools. Food excellent at restaurant by ocean. Main restaurant, not so great for dinner. Breakfast very good.

Ganz schön, aber man muss motorisiert sein

Das Resort liegt in einer Art Dschungel, sehr angenehm mit vielen Bäumen und Pflanzen. Dazu mehrere Pools. Die Anlage liegt zwar am Meer, aber man kann eigentlich nicht ins Wasser; also kein Strand vorhanden.

Falls man kein Auto oder Zweirad hat, muss man sich mit Taxi in die Stadt befördern lassen. Jedes Mal 300 THB. Zur Beachroad und Walkingstreet relativ weit; man könnte auch hinlaufen, Berg runter und am Pattaya-Zeichen vorbei.

Nice setting for breakfast, friendly staff.

The property is dated, the staff are young and inexperienced (although very nice) The food selection is poor, the pool area is poor, the rooms are poor and dated. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel, it’s a substandard intercontinental and not aligned with their usual standards. Choose another place.

Luxe, vriendelijkheid. Dit hotel betreft heeft al mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Dank hiervoor!

Wij hadden hier een Junior Suite met 1 Kingsize Bed, Uitzicht op de Ocean en Toegang tot de Club, ontbijt en avondeten geboekt voor 4 nachten. Het zwembad was gewoon adembenemend. Het ontbijt uitstekend, zo uitgebreid met alle gerechten, alles was vers en prachtig verzorgd, vers fruitsap wat héél belangrijk is voor mij, fruit in overvloed. Het personeel was TOP hier, personeel wil ik zeker hier hartelijk bedanken voor hun vriendelijkheid. Van kamerpersoneel tot zwembadpersoneel, ontbijtpersoneel, receptiepersoneel, personeel restaurant avond, toegang tot de club, personeel heel bekwaam en top vriendelijk Avondeten prima verzorgd elke avond weer die in de prijs was inbegrepen. Het waren 2 restaurants waar je het het avondeten kon benutten. Binnen restaurant met zeer lekker Thaise gerechten. Het buiten restaurant Sea view was adembenemend, en met zeer lekkere gerechten. Dit hotel betreft heeft al mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Kom hier zeker terug! Je voelt je hier direct thuis en op je gemak. Nogmaals hartelijk dank aan al het personeel hier van het InterContinental Pattaya Resort, an IHG Hotel

Excellent luxury resort

Excellent breakfast and beautiful food and service. Great pools and its own beach. shuttle bus to town was handy although we used grab cars which are very cheap and plentiful.

As usual in Thailand wine is over priced. A little too far to walk to town.

spacey room and very comfortable beds. probably the most comfortable beds ever. the swift service. they were ready to attend to all our needs swiftly. the breakfast was delicious.

Magical vacation & best memories for life

Oh… What didn’t we like? This was the stay we didn’t wanted to end! We are grateful to the staff for an amazing experience & helpfulness. The resort itself is a gem… The teritory is magical - full of various plants, flowers, it is so cozy to walk in the evenings. The pools are great, not very big, but surrounded all the greenery & are kind of curvy. The very good shape of the main pool creates privacy because of it & you’re not disturbed by other guests. We traveled as a couple, so it was perfect choice for us - very romantic, very calm. We booked a room with ocean view & it was amazing. The room itself was clean, spacious, with big balcony where we liked spending late evenings & listened to the birds. The beds were comfortable, quality sheets, lots of towels & bathrobes provided. The internet was very good. And I really liked that they have pool menu (you can order a lot of tasty things from snacks, cocktails, to tasty light dishes). And the food… The food was delightful! We really liked the Infinity restaurant (were so impressed after the first evening, so didn’t even bother ourselves searching for places in the city…). The menu is small, but the quality is good. We tried something different every evening & were never unhappy. The breakfast hotel provide is great as well - plenty of choices, good desserts, various fruits, juice, hot meals, snacks, pancakes, variety of egg dishes, chefs are great & the staff is very caring. If the word wouldn’t be so wide, we would come back again & again! Loved this place and reccomend for couples who search for relaxing vacation.

We were only sad about the beach. It is not very good for swimming & not very clean. The tides are extremely low in the daytime & in the evening, when the water rises the red flag was mostly up. So we didn’t get to swim in the sea by the hotel. But the pools were great & there are plenty of chances to swim in the sea if you travel in daytime. Despite the swimming, we enjoyed the beach for romantic evening walks.

Great place to relax.

I like the food and the super friendly staff! The location is great and the facilities with kids play area and programs. Breakfast is amazing with loads of choices. The view from our room was spectacular!

Good breakfast Friendly staffs who tried hard but service level wasn't up to Intercontinental standards Clean room

Serenity pool could be cleaner, lots of of leaves and dead bugs in the morning (10am) Staff English skills aren't great Food options not up-to-date and rather boring They didn't pick up in-room food plates/leftovers for over 24 hours Someone stole our child's bathing suite
