I loved this apartment

I loved this apartment. It was better than the pictures, quiet even though in a central position. Easy to access, near bus stop, clean and very comfortable. Convenience store across the road.

Great value and perfect location.

Nicely decorated, modern, clean and comfortable. Excellent location, perfect for seeing central Reykjavik and for long walks along the coast. Close to free parking on the street.

Lovely spacious, well equipped apartment, with good views and great location

This was a stay for myself and my husband and our teenage son, (we stayed in apartment 401, 2 bedroom) it was a really lovely spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and all cutlery, crockery and cook wear you might need - could maybe have done with another metal tray for the oven, but apart from that very good, also nice touch was that things like condiments/herbs & spices were provided (as when you are staying somewhere for a week you don't want to have to buy these things) Also there was tea / sugar and coffee there to use. They had provided dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloths and tea towels which was a nice touch. The bedrooms were a lovely size too, with very big windows with a beautiful view of the mountains, comfy beds, with all bed linen (duvets sheets etc) provided. The bathroom was a good size, with integral walk in shower which was good, not the easiest to control but it worked. In the bathroom was also a washing machine and tumble drier with washing pods provided too. all towels and bathroom mat provided and toilet paper for your stay. there was a little balcony, with its own windows, which was nice. Perfect location it is at the end of the best part of the street (Laugavegur) for tourists, full of restaurants/cafes/bars and gift shops, and we could see the church out of our balcony too! There is also a 24/7 grocery shop directly opposite the apartment, which is so useful.

I was not told that there are currently works taking place on the road directly outside the apartment, which means the road is closed off - on arrival I navigated to the apartment hoping to park on the road, which obviously you cant as it is closed, so ended up driving round the corner, which is a bus only area, much to the distaste of all the bus drivers who beeped at me rather a lot! (apparently it is due to be turned into a pedestrian area). Luckily we went to the on road free parking just down the road during our stay that they had told us about (just off Snorrabraut). So only a couple of minutes walk away. The only other off-putting thing is only small, but both the kitchen and the bathroom plugs smelt really bad, and could have done with a bit of bleach!

Couldn’t have had a better location, incredible restaurants and sights walking distance and plenty of public transport options nearby, supermarket across the road also handy. the apartment itself was more spacious than the pictures let on and it was spotless.

Great little apartment, prime location.

Great location, apartment has everything you need even tea & coffee plus a few basic supplies in the cupboards; none of which I expected in a self catering apartment. Easy to access the apartment, code is sent via email, I was able to access the apartment earlier than planned.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this appartment.

The key code worked well and gave us freedom to arrive and leave to suit us. The apartment was clean however there was no spare toilet roll and when the toaster popped up the toast and the kettle was on, the electricity cut off to that area of the apartment. The rooms were all a good size, and everything was in good repair. It was in a good area for eating and there is a supermarket across the road. Bus stop number 9 was just around the corner; however, every pick-up was after the later time.

There could have been more full-size mugs. (Lots of tiny cups). We could not get the dishwasher to work. These were just minor problems.

Exceptional

Quiet and safe place! Wonderful location, not far from supermarkets and bus stops. Super nice washing machine and dryer, which is very very necessary for visiting Iceland. We had boat trip and hiking trip, so that we came back with wet clothes every day. People who are in the same travel group with us are "jealous", that we can have our clothes dry so quickly.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Reykjavik

Absolutely fantastic apartment, very modern, unbeatable location.

It was roasting when we arrived, even with the radiator off. It's ok though - we opened the windows to cool the place down. Also, bed is VERY close to the bathroom door - be careful not to stub your toes! (Apt 402)

has everything that you need in a service apartment. best thing about it is the location. just a stone throw away from down town and parking including airport drop off and pick up points. very close to grocery shops and also variety of eateries including fine Dining making this one of the best service apartments I have stayed in. apartment is compact and has a great deal of storage space.

Lovely apartment in a good location

The apartment was spacious, bright and airy, and in a good location. Bus stop 10 was right outside, so perfect for excursion pick up/drop off. The host was very responsive to any queries and requests.

Brilliant stay

Central location of the Apartment - and Bus stop 10 for most trips is literally outside the front door. Property was well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and it was heated perfectly after the cold outside! We will definitely be back!

Great location, helpful host, nice apartment

Great location for all activities - bus stop 10 literally outside the door! Plenty of space and well provided apartment. We were very busy and warm as the storms raged outside!! I could see the sea & mountains from my bedroom, which was lovely.

Shower wasn’t very powerful & smelt of sulphur as did bathroom water. However I guess that what you get in a geothermal city!!!

Had a great time in Iceland and was lovely returning to a warm apartment.

Excellent location, really cozy and clean. Staff extremely helpful.

Didn’t realise it was an open plan lounge/kitchen and bedroom area. That said, it wasn’t a problem because it was just the two of us. The towels, although clean were very worn and really needed replacing.

Excellent location - tourist bus stop literally outside the front door and on main Street so perfect for restaurants and sight seeing. Could not have been better located. Great views of sea, and mountains on clear day!
