Genial!

Hermoso el lugar, parece sacado de un cuento de hadas. La ubicación es perfecta para caminar y conocer diferentes restaurantes. Los host demasiado cool y atentos a lo que necesitáramos. Súper recomendado el desayuno, tienen opciones veganas y vegetarianas deliciosas. Amamos estar rodeados de animales y en un lugar tan tranquilo, hace la experiencia en las terrenas mucho más agradable y linda

Fabulous! So glad we found this place.

Great location very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The place is very cute, great rooms, and the breakfast was delicious! The owner even accommodated for a vegetarian in our group and we were very impressed with what he made. He was also very friendly and helpful in telling us the best beaches to go to, where to go snorkeling and how to get to the waterfall.

Characterful property - well located for the seafront

Lovely breakfast (at extra cost) Well located - a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants on the seafront Property felt like an oasis, with gardens/private areas

Cockroach in the room The design of the huts meant that the shower area was not separate from the main room. Combined with the pond outside, this increased the likelihood of bugs in the room - hence the mosquito net on the bed No chair/lack of surfaces Taxi ordered by hosts did not turn up for our departure

Charming cabañas in the middle of las Terrenas

The location is great, just a few minutes on foot to beach and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and trying to help always with everything we needed. The place is like a little paradise in the middle of the village las Terrenas, beautiful garden, charming natural swimmingpool, and also charming and confortable room.

It is nice to be around all the animals that live in the garden, the hens, the rabbit, the turtle...but in the 5 days we stayed there we could not get used to the noises in the night.

OK place to stay

The place is close to the beach and the room is quite spacious with a good quality Wifi.

The place is rather small with a tiny garden and quite cramped between the concrete walls. The access street is very narrow and there is very limited parking space at the property. Also, due to a bio pool, there is plenty of mosquitos in around and I got bitten more during 1 night stay than the entire week on the island. The place is pleasant but should I have known, I would choose a different property.

I really like the feeling to seem in the jungle. it was a complete natural immersion as I like. Say bye to the best cute rabbit!

Beautiful location with the perfect atmosphere for relaxation

Unique location, great hosts and stone throw away from the beach. We enjoyed our stay enormously and our little son (1 year old) made good friends with the Mango-eating Bunny. Thanks Alessandro for the warm welcome!

good location but other places more interesting

Very Good location Breakfast can be made and adapted to your food allergies and constraints. Well done chef!! The room is quite big and clean. The charming little animal noises at night.

We were very very disappointed when we got there because we felt there was a big gap between the pictures on booking (outside, natural pool, and rooms) and the reality. The pics might have been taken quite a long time ago. Be ready for mosquitos. But thanks to the net and the fan you will be safe. Maybe a little pricey for what you get and compared to other places we had been.

Cosy, hostel-like room close to the city centre and beach.

Great location - close to everything you need in Las Terrenas. Casa Picaflor is a nice, clean, hostel-like, location with very helpful owners.

It would have been nice to have coffee-making supplies in our room. Not a big deal, but amenities (fridge, kettle, etc) are shared with all guests, outside, and pretty basic. We were spoiled in other Las Terrenas locations -:)

Nice stay, calm place, would go there again!

Location is away from the noisy mainstreet - quiet but not ideal. Breakfast excellent, host very nice people. Good place to rest and find tranquility.

AC is charged separately which is OK, but the equipment is too small to really keep the room cool.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely everything was perfect. The backyard with the swimming pool, flowers and animals is so beautiful and relaxing. It’s a quick walk to the beach. The backyard only has 3 other rooms but with all the beautiful plants we felt like we were alone on our porch. The hosts Alessandro and Kamille were by far the most gracious hosts we have ever had. They are friendly, give great local advice and make the most incredible breakfast spread. The best breakfast we have had in DR!!! Do not pass up the breakfast! The attention to detail at this place is perfect. The room was very comfortable and cool With just the fan on at night. We were so happy to have found this place and look forward to returning again when we need an escape from the city.

I have zero complaints.

Rooms are spacious, very quiet place, bunny in the yard :))

We've got other room - not which was in the photo. Fan in the bungalow was very noisy - it should be fixed cause hard to sleep. Also there wasn't hot water - it is only in room which attached to the house. For 7usd you get quite poor breakfast - 1egg with potatoes and a bit fruits. Low water pressure in the room (attached to the house) bathroom. Pool is useless, its just decoration.
