Pictures and description are totally not what's to be expected there. It's a really basic old thing.

Location ok and free parking.

The whole description / hotels facilities ad is not true. The rooms are old, used up and moldy. Tiles broken and wall plaster flaking off. The paint has yellowed out. Felt like it's been this way since the 70s. Sofa and chairs stained and needs replacement. The promised equipment ( coffeemaker, ironing, clothes hangers etc ) are non existent. Not even a hair dryer u can expect. Only a small fridge is provided . You are renting a used up room with bed and desk but not even 3* hotel furnishings are to be expected. We were offered several rooms and checked them. All the same. I was told even the description of the stuff / rooms are not true and the manager would eventually correct it. All in all seedy place but the receptionist was really nice. The place is max 2 stars acc European standard and a value of 30-40$ a night would have been fair and enough . Wouldn't return again especially not with a family.

Very good

Katherine front desk staff, very helpful and friendly. She speaks English and Spanish. Taxi driver Jaime very cool guy.. Most of the Restaurant staff were nice and helpful.

Personnel was nice and friendly but the whole building needs a lot of maintenance in order to offer

Wifi was really good. The location was perfect because it was close to everything. Breakfast was good and the personnel was very friendly. They adjusted the check in time for us since we arrived earlier than expected

Room had lack of maintenance. The lock in the bathroom door was broken. There was one side of the shower door only, looks like the other side broke at some point but never replaced. Furniture was old and had a lot of stains. The towel holder was loose and basically you couldn't use it.

Excellent stay. No complaints. Close to places of business I wanted to go to.

Excellent breakfast buffet, much better than most, and open for 4 hours. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi and free use of guest computers. Excellent room and very large bathroom, and perfect air conditioning control.

Nothing really. Maybe a small notepad and pen on the bedstand, but many hotels don't have those anymore for some reason.

Clean and very comfortable.

The property was clean and comfortable. The roof top pool was nice and the location was close to several places to eat. We used Uber to get around but the metro station was only a small walk.

Lovely stay, convenient and very nice.

Beautiful view from the terrace, very nice and clean. Excellent value for money. We chose to stay here over Casco Viejo based on price and were not disappointed. It was a $4 taxi to get to the historic centre so we saved a lot of money by staying in El Cangrejo.

Very basic restaurant, looked more like a canteen or diner.

Spacious hotel room with great views over city

One of the elevators was broken and often had to wait quite a while for the second one.

The rooftop and the pool is awesome from which you have a wonderful view! Also the staff is super nice.

The furniture and the rooms were quite old.

Terrific

A big fresh and quite room for a very good price. nice with a small pool on the rooftop to cool down. The AC worked super good and the bed was so comfortable. Slept so good. We had a three days tour after our visit at the hotel. The staff was very service minded and even let us store our luggage until we arrived back from our tour, without paying any extra. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was fine, but not quite what I expected

We were upgraded to suite which was very large.

The breakfast is very limited and although the location is central, it is not convenient for walking/metro.

The hotel was beautiful inside and out, the staff was very nice and helpful! the restaurant had a delicious buffet, the pool area was calm and had a gorgeous view of the city at night!
