Close proximity to work
Stayed in an adjoining room & could hear my neighbours through the closed door. Not good when I needed to sleep & rest fir work the next day.
The larger pillow smelt like it hadn’t been washed or needed a new one. It smelt strongly of human odour.

I have stayed in this hotel prior to this visit. It is great value for money and so convenient for transport to any part of the city. Would not stay anywhere else. Staff are great and helpful and room has all the facilities one requires.
Can’t think of anything as far as I am concerned.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to major tourist attractions like darling harbor, opera house, sydney eye, and all the major markets.
Washroom was terrible, very small and suffocating. Even the quality of water in the shower was not upto standards.

Location is perfect for me as a non driver
My only complaint is the television didn’t have enough channels available.

The hotel is in a great location, a fair price and friendly staff.
Check I was quick and easy.
Booking was easy,
The room was a little tired with lots of marks on the walls etc.
Pillows were pretty bad, would be nice to have a better pillow.

Central location with trams, trains and buses outside. Helpful staff put our friends and family in rooms nearby. Good value breakfast.
Beds extremely hard and uncomfortable. Small room. The fans turned on by themselves in the night and every time we turned them off, they would go on again. We ended up taking the room card out so they turned off as it's winter and it was freezing.

I asked reception when I visited the hotel prior to our stay, how she rated their rooms. “Average” she said. Perhaps that was a little exaggerated owing to the tiny room size, only one chair and paper thin walls, but it cost half the price of the Novotel in Darling square and the bed was just as comfortable. The location was excellent if you wanted to be a stone’s throw from the Central Railway, which we did. Ok, not as charming as the locality of the aforementioned Novotel. Horses for courses though and Darling Square and Paddy’s Market is only a few stops away on light rail from Central station.
To be fair this is an old establishment going through upgrades to its elevators. But at least the bar had reopened. The couple in the room next door were having fun. Good on them, but we didn’t need to hear it so clearly up to 3am. The other thing was it only had free-to-air TV. You don’t go to Sydney to watch TV but I missed a great rugby match that night.

when we had to evacuate the hotel at 5a.m till 8.45 a.m because of fire i thought that someone from the staff
would have approached us and advised of when we could get access.

The location is very central to everything. The light rail stops across the road out the front of the hotel. The staff are very helpful and polite. Good breakfast and priced very reasonable.
We have stayed at this hotel several times. We have noticed each time we have stayed, the rooms are deteriating due to little maintenance being done. The bed was very wobbly when either of us moved just a little. There was no light in the area where the tea & coffee was made. There must have been a light at some stage as there was a hole in the ceiling and there was a light switch that did nothing. Very dark area to try to make tea or coffee. The dark curtains needed more hooks as they were hanging loose up the top. We could not keep the curtains together to keep out the morning light and the lights outside. We were booked on the sixth floor and there was a motor noise running constantly above the room which made it annoying trying to sleep.

The location for this hotel is brilliant being near the light rail stops and Central Station just five minutes walk away.
The room was small but manageable, bed was comfy and firm. Cleanliness was good and the room was quiet like we asked for.
All things considered the hotel is good value for money and we will be back there soon.
Could have been a bigger room but was okay for the price
