My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at Jean’s apartment. The check-in process was super easy and Jean was easily contactable the entire time.
The apartment itself was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We would certainly stay here again :)
Thank you so much Jean for having us!

The apartment had everything we needed, being very clean, well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. It's ideally situated for the National Park, beach, local shops and eating places - and also only a short drive (or bus ride) to Noosa. The host, Jean, was extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Very nice location to launch all activities, away from the hubbub of the more touristy areas. Jean is a fabulous host and responded quickly to all our enquiries - both before and during our stay.

Good access to bus into noosa and was very clean and well stocked.
Did not reslise it had side access down uneven stairs that challenged my wifes back injury.

This unit was spotlessly clean with air conditioning and a lovely large space for suitcases and clothing. Despite there being only one day of sunshine on the Sunshine Coast throughout our stay, we had everything we needed in this conveniently located unit. The abundance of bird life and proximity to the local surf club, beaches and National Park as well as our communicative hosts made this place perfect for us.

My partner and I were very happy to discover this perfect little oasis in Sunshine Beach. It was in a convenient location, close to Sunshine Beach and shops. It was very comfortable and suprisingly spacious for a studio. The deck which overlooks a lovely garden, hosts lots of wonderful native bird life, which was a huge bonus. It's also only a short drive to Noosa Heads Main beach or you can hike along the beach and through the National park. We were lucky to see some whales when we did this hike.

My partner and I had the loveliest time at Jean and Pete’s beautiful place. Everything at this property is considered, which isn’t surprising given the thoughtfulness and generosity of the hosts.
Jean gave us fresh bok choy from her beautiful garden, along with other greens that we ate most nights. She even lent me her binoculars for whale watching, and my partner an esky for fishing.
This place has everything you could possibly need and more (including picnic crockery and lovely views of the garden and birds bathing in the bird bath).
I look forward to coming back one day!
Thanks again Jean and Pete!

We loved the location. Jean was a wonderful, accomodating & informative host. The apartment was very comfortable in a lovely setting, tastefully decorated & had everything necessary for a relaxing stay. It was located next to a small park and the sound of kookaburras greeted us every morning. Easy walking distance to good restaurants and the Noosa National Park. Loved it!

I attended a friend’s wedding at Sunshine Beach and my sister accompanied me.
This accommodation was perfectly located between the church (Sunshine Beach Anglican Church- beautiful building) and the reception venue, which was The Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club (a fantastic facility).
The Garden Retreat was very quiet and the host welcomed us on arrival and offered to help with our luggage, which was very lovely.
The apartment was compact, comfortable and well stocked with various household items eg detergents, shampoo, shower gel, insect creams, Aloe Vera gel etc.
There were 3 notable negatives for our visit:- 1. the garden stairs were difficult to negotiate with suitcases (I am 60yrs old and my sister is 62 - we’re both quite mobile). The first night we were going out for dinner (ascending the stairs) - each stair has a garden light, but one light was ineffective, so I wasn’t aware of an extra piece of wooden sleeper and I tripped up the stair. I have a sizeable bruise on my shin. Easily rectified though if the owners could adjust the light and trim foliage to widen the path at the top of the path.
2. The bathroom towels were very stiff and scratchy. Most likely sun dried, which is great, but 10 minutes in a clothes dryer would soften them.
3. The back garden was rather overgrown, so the outlook to the park was somewhat obscured.
We otherwise had a very restful stay and really enjoyed exploring the Sunshine Beach area. It is a spectacular location. 🙂Di

The property was just what was needed for a short escape from a busy schedule - close to the beach, cafes and just a short taxi ride to Noosa - just far enough away from the craziness of Noosa, but close enough for a quick visit.

Excellent place to spend with a partner, it feels like a home. The location is very quiet, shopping centre is 10 mins away(driving) and the beach is 1km away. The back deck feels like youre having a holiday in a rainforest. Jean is a lovely host, she let us use the herbs in the backyard for cooking.

Jean's little garden of Eden (thank you for all the fresh produce!) compliments the perfect location of this Sunshine Beach gem! You will miss nothing and get to truly relax in a cosy, perfectly located nature-filled hideaway amongst birdsong and the sounds of the ocean in the distance. Thank you, we loved our absolutely relaxing and rejuvenating stay!
