A nice hotel away from the hustle and bustle

Being French, having lived in Spain, I would not have thought that I would find the best ham in Sardinia but here it was. The restaurant is worth the detour, and the restaurant staff was exceptional. Definitely amazing food. The hotel is beautiful, and it is quite the view. It is very much nested in the countryside. With a car, it can be an interesting point of anchor. One of the hotel staff members was really helpful and went above and beyond to help us out.

- The spa and the gym comes at hefty additional cost and it is not a pleasant, if you pick a four star hotel is to enjoy the amenities, it should be part of the price. It was a disappointment considering the hotel is not centrally located. - The hotel staff was a bit versatile, one member was more than helpful and she did all she could to help, the other was a bit more standoff ish. - It was not clear how large the property is vs. description.

FANTASTICA LOCATION IMMERSA NEL VERDE

Abbiamo deciso all'ultimo momento di trascorrere un weekend di totale relax e la Tenuta Pilastru si è rilevata una straordinaria esperienza in una location fantastica immersa nel verde e nella pace assoluta. La mattina abbiamo fatto delle splendide passeggiate nei boschi di sughero vicino alla tenuta. Nel favoloso centro benessere, abbiamo trascorso i pomeriggi coccolati con l'dromassaggio/sauna e la sera squisita cena a base dei tipici prodotti sardi (tutti rigorosamente preparati dal loro chef di altissimo livello). Tutto il personale si è dimostrato altamente professionale e cortese, rendendo il nostro soggiorno particolarmente gradevole e indimenticabile. Da ritornare presto. Aldo

Fabuleux ! Beau et reposant, nous y avons très bien mangés et très bien dormis.

Joli hôtel avec un très bel extérieur, dîner très bon et raisonnable en terme de prix, des prestations supplémentaires proposées par le SPA et surtout, nous y avons très très bien dormi.

Fin avril, il faisait trop froid pour profiter de la jolie piscine extérieure et il ne restait plus de place pour le SPA. Si nous revenons en Sardaigne, nous reviendrons et réserverons en avance :)

Magische erfahrung

Meine Frau und ich verbrachten einen der schönsten Aufenthalte aller Zeiten im Tenuta Pilastru. Wir lieben Ruhe und Stille, und hier haben wir gefunden, wonach wir gesucht haben. Die Lage ist eingebettet in einen riesigen Park mit jahrhundertealten Olivenbäumen. Sehr schönes Zimmer, kürzlich renoviert, hell und mit allem ausgestattet. Das SPA und das Restaurant sind auf höchstem Niveau. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam auf unsere Wünsche. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Beautiful and quiet stay in amazing surroundings

The serene atmosphere, beautiful and uninterrupted views including sunset, the central location (for visiting any corner in north Sardinia within 30mins or driving), the remoteness of it, the way it was built around the ancient stone structures and made it part of the surrounding nature, the locally sourced and very tasty food, the simple but ever changing dinner menu, reasonable prices for mini-fridge items as well as dinner, good selection for breakfast

No remote control for the air con, no accessible tap water, no chargers for EVs, no shops in the vicinity, could do with more water pressure, weird waste pipe connection causing shower waste noises whenever flushing the toilet

I’ll be back.

The whole property was great. The restaurant was spectacular. The staff was super nice.

Hotel guests should have the priority sitting on the terrasse. The pool area snack place needs to provide better quality food. Possible to have some tv channels in other languages like English or French or Spanish.

Staff was great and room was clean and comfortable, and it was close to a lot of archeological sites

A Wonderfully Peaceful Stay!

Our several day stay at Tenuta Pilastru was wonderful. The rural location near Arzechena was very tranquil -- wonderfully quiet! The grounds and buildings are meticulously maintained. Our room was quite ample in size and comfort. The staff were very friendly and professional at every level. The breakfasts and dinners served in the on-site restaurant were fantastic! Delicious! Tanked up with a very well-rounded and filling breakfast buffet in the morning, and after a day of exploring the area, wrap up the day with a superb dinner meal, served by incredible staff. Tenuta Pilastru's central location in the Gallura region made it easy to explore so many areas within an hours' drive. The nearest town, Arzechena, is a delightful place. The folks we encountered were very kind, and there are ample amenities in the town for both citizens and visitors alike. All-in-all, ours was a great stay! We would definitely book here again on future visits, and definitely recommend to others. Thanks Tenuta Pilastru!

THE TRUE ITALIAN COUNTRY EXPERIENCE ❤️

The true italiana country experience!! My wife and I had a wonderful time, amazingly genuine food, we also bought delicious organic jams made by the Owners Laura & Steffy of this wonderful place where the rooms are one more beautiful than other, we also thank for the upgrade given tones for our honeymoon in this wonderful island. We had breathing peace and tranquility fully immersed in a new spring reach of blooms and scents of typical Mediterranean, we love this part of Italy, really really authentic! We had a great time and will definitely return to this lovely country resort. Thanks to all Staff of Tenuta Pilastru! Marc & Jane N.Y.C

Good

Tenuta Pilastru has lots of potential, but miss top rate because of unexperienced staff. Most of them trying their best, but lots of little details ruin the impression of proffesionalism. The grounds are beautiful, rooms nice in a rustic way. Breakfast is just OK and the same day after day, which gets boring.

Boring breakfast. And we had a few misshap with our dinners.

Incredible scenery and comfortable stay

Stunning setting. Loved the pool and lawn around. The room was quiet and lovely.

We were very disappointed that the Spa was not included in the price. The restaurant was ok, but not outstanding and very busy.

Comfortable and secluded getaway

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms. Nice pool with plenty of seating surrounding it. Restaurant and breakfast were really good and reasonable value for money.

No pool towels provided.

Relaxing has never been so good!

first of all I would like to thank the staff of Tenuta Pilastru who, from the very first moments of my booking, were able to organise this wonderful holiday in the best possible way, giving us the opportunity to live some truly unique travel experiences that I would recommend doing!!! our stay was divided between organized excursions, boat tours to the Archipelago of La Maddalena and saw the period visits to the winery with wine tasting, all perfectly organized by the staff Pilastru, also asking if it were possible, since we were on our honeymoon, we asked for an up-grade of the room and we were satisfied as best we could, comfort and quality very satisfactory, good food and excellent signal on the hotel wifi. everything according to plan, not far from the location, through the suggestion of the staff, we were able to visit the places of history of this island, tombs of the giants and a beautiful nuraghe perfectly preserved. The sardinia in its most beautiful autumn has given us a wonderful climate and magnificent weather!

Comfortable stay with a beautiful landscape

Love the overall rustic setting of the property. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was big, clean and well-maintained (comfy bed and modern bathroom fittings).

Breakfast selection and quality could have been better considering the room rate. Use of the gym should be included in the rate.

Very close to a high class hotel

The hotel compound is beautifully located between scenic rocks. The terrace of the restaurant offers an amazing view over the beautiful pool area and on the surrounding hills, which is particularly impressive at sunset. Though the hotel is very family friendly (quite a lot of other families were there with children during our stay) it was never noisy. The hotel staff was very customer/service oriented and super friendly.

Not all rooms have good WiFi reception. If you come to breakfast a bit later in the morning not necessarily everything is still available.

Great scenery. Peaceful. Great precervation of historical elements. Clean rooms. Avoid Dinner.

SPA was good. Breakfast was ok.

We missed fruits and vegeatbles at breakfast. We also missed more Glutenfree alternatives. The resturant and dinner options is best avoided. Blend, boring and far below average. A real shame really, because the rest of this place is a gem. Best tip is to enjoy your stay here, and eat elsewhere. There are plenty of great options only a few min away by car.

Stunning property, spread out across an expansive area, incredible views of historic rock formations and neolithic(?) settlement on the property itself.

We really liked our stay at Tenuta Pilastru. The whole place is beautiful, the staff was super nice and helpful.

The only downside was breakfast, there were no vegetables and there wasn't a big variety (besides the sweets).

Really nice place, with great view. Few small things could be better

Location is superb. The breakfast was really nice with quality local products. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The staff could not speak English apart from one lady in reception. The wifi connection in the rooms is very poor. The hot water under the shower lasted for at max 10 min.
