Unforgettable stay in Bordeaux

Les Chambres d'Art is a remarkable place to stay. Bruno, the host, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. His meticulous attention to detail truly sets this place apart. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to find two flags gracefully waving in the garden, representing both our home country and our current residence. Additionally, we were greeted with two glasses of exquisite Bordeaux wine and cuddles from Princess, his cat. The bedroom itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and exceptionally comfortable. Every aspect of our stay was meticulously attended to, ensuring an enjoyable experience. Breakfast was a true highlight of our stay, with homemade marmalades, freshly brewed coffee and pastries that were simply amazing. The care and effort he puts into every aspect of the stay are evident in every bite and sip. Beyond his exceptional hosting skills, Bruno is a truly unique individual with a vibrant personality who truly embodies the welcoming spirit of Bordeaux. His dedication to creating a delightful experience, combined with the genuine care he extends to his guests, ensures an unforgettable visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional and memorable stay in Bordeaux.

Perfect place to stay to enjoy Bordeaux

Exceeded our expectations. Room was clean and recently updated, bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed having wine on the outside balcony. Really appreciated the hospitality, and we're welcomed at the door, and enjoying a drink in the back yard before even going to our room. Also, the host, Bruno got up extra early to prepare breakfast for my wife and me, so we could get out for our wine tasting and Tour de France adventures. Got lucky to be there to be invited to a string quartet concert in the park.

Wonderful host, beautiful house, I'd love to stay again

What a fantastic warm welcome we received from Bruno. Within seconds of arriving, we were chatting over a beer in the pretty garden like old friends. Bruno gave us lots of information and was wonderful. The room was lovely. Big, with tea and coffee facilities and a very comfy bed. The house is beautiful. Great location. Short walk from the train station and not far before you reach the bustle of cafe culture. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

A wonderful place to stay in beautiful Bordeaux

I was travelling with my elderly father. We were warmly welcomed by Bruno, who made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed everything about our stay… breakfast was great and attractively presented, our rooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Wonderful stay in Bordeaux

Very pleasant stay in a relatively central area of Bordeaux. The room was comfortable, breakfast was prepared with care and was always very tasty. The host is very friendly, was very helpful and gave good suggestions. He welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived late at night. I highly recommend.

Wonderful accommodation with exceptional host.

Our stay at Les Chambres d’Art was exceptional. All pre-trip communication was prompt and helpful (train info., restaurant recommendations, etc.). We were met by the very warm and friendly host, Bruno. He welcomed us into his home, offered us a glass of wine, and took us out to the courtyard where we sat and chatted for a while. We appreciated the time he spent with us at check-in and each morning at breakfast. He is a wealth of local information. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would gladly return to Les Chambres d’Art.

Very nice B&B, very well located to visit Bordeaux's town center. Very pleasant and informative host

Location in the quiet area of Bordeaux, at 15 min walk from the city center was super. Bruno, the host, was extremely pleasant, helpful, fun and informative. The house itself is amazingly beautiful, in art nouveau style, and well kept. Beautiful table setting, good food. Very nice garden. Excellent address if you want to visit Bordeaux city but don't want to be in the busiest and loudest parts of town.

Little privacy when you don't travel as a couple : the bathroom was not fully private (dividing walls) , small and no hangers at all. The room itself was OK but also quite small. Breakfast was very nice but not copious and every day the same.

Great host and great spot.

Bruno is an exceptional host with good English and you get the run of the dining area and outside sitting area. You are very close to the market and St Michel square. Keen walkers could access the whole central city from here and the tram is easy. A very good breakfast is included. Great spot!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel

Bruno & his family run an exceptional hotel in a great location for exploring the city. The rooms were lovely, they were very clean with comfy beds. Bruno’s breakfast was delicious, he was friendly, helpful & made our stay in Bordeaux fabulous.

Relaxing and cozy

Breakfast was great , hosts were perfect very accommodating, great service, location was a little bit far out from the centre but the bed and breakfast was extremely quite and comfortable. Great place to relax and rest.

Water in the rooms would have been good and the floor was cold so disposable slippers would have been nice. There was nothing we didn’t like these were just things that would have made it better.

The stylish old fashioned room is very comfy. The Host, Bruno, is a wonderful person. Super kind, always ready with advice and a very interesting person with whom have a chat. His breakfast is something you don't want to miss, after the first morning.

Room perfekt. Breakfast perfect with beautiful setting. Area central with nice surroundings near river, yet quiet. Very nice atmosphere. Bruno and Marion are excellent hosts, very helpful and generous with tips and ideas.

Very nice B&B at good location

Very nice B&B at a perfect location in Bordeaux, at walking distance to the city center and Gare TGV. Warm welcome, nice room, wonderful breakfast and perfect host.
