More or less all was good except the really dangerous incident with the low-quality hairdryer.

Big rooms, comfy beds.

Hairdryer started smoking and was shooting pieces of melted plastic. We reported it but we did not get a new one.

very nice hotel, Penelope and her family were very welcoming and customer oriented by giving advice for my stay. I really recommend you this place, located in front of the beach and close to Rethymnon city.

Nice family owned hotel, we were yet treated like the other 4 and 5 stars where we stayed after this one: very kind staf

Value for money

Hotel is in a good location close to the beaches. The rooms are also upgraded and quite nice.

I felt like this was more of a rental apartment than a hotel. My husband and I were in Greece for the first time and had no idea how to get places, where to go, how to book taxis, etc. Each time we went to reception to ask questions there was no one there. Overall, I would say this is a fine hotel if you are not looking for the services that a hotel usually offers.

Location was perfect near to the beach and close to the main street and my friends. Quiet and private.

I didn't see anyone from the hotel other than the cleaner apart from on my arrival so not sure of there was a bar I could use ? I assume I could have use the pool by the apartments? It was fine as I hadn't planned to be there much but couldn't even find someone to pay on the last day and assume they will take the money from my account.

Great location- a close walk to the beach and restaurants. They worked with our late arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.

Pinelope is extremely vibrant and nice. The rooms are very economic, clean and you have a kitchen to cook. Also the pool can be used.

There was an additional cost for the AC.

Very good value for money, good location and great host

The entire staff was very nice, professional, and friendly. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast at the Mary hotel. The location was good and we also had an excellent parking slot at a hotel nearby.

The smell that came from a local farm close to the hotel.

Good value, helpful and accommodating staff and great location.

The option of an €8 generous buffet breakfast at the neighbouring Mary hotel was great. Very close to the beach, supermarket, bakery, restaurants and bus stop to Rethymnon. Staff were cheerful and very helpful with local tips.

A fan in the living room would be useful.

Exceptional

Excellent location very close to the beach. Charming host always ready to assist with any issue. Very comfortable beds and good new bed linen and towels. I had a great one week stay at Pinelopi's and would gladly return any time.

I was greeted very warmly by the owner Penelopi who set such amazing mood and continued being super helpful. Very chilled and positive vibes from this hotel, as all guests seemed enjoying themselves. My room had direct access to lovely pool and had its own pretty balcony to relax during evening time

Amazing vacation

The hotel has excellent location, it takes 3-5 minutes to get to the beach, as well as cafe and shops. The rooms are very comfortable and have big balconies to spend time in the evening. The hotel is located in a very quiet place and nothing disturbed while sleeping. The beds were comfortable to sleep. The hostess Pinelopi was very friendly and did her best. Thanks for amazing vacation!

Fantastic best holiday ever.

Pinelopi hotel is excellent. The hotel itself is exceptional the rooms are clean, modern and very spacious . The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, and very helpful nothing is too much trouble. The location of the hotel is excellent short walk to a beautiful beach in Plantanes and close to some great restaurant's and shops. Its also well worth hiring a car to explore the island. We will definitely return to this hotel . Thank you Pinelopi. Natalie
