It was a lovely villa every thing you need

The pool area was good even though it was dirt when we arrived on Friday. They came to clean it on Saturday morning, which only took about 30 mins.
The villa itself leaves a lot to be desired. It was swarming with ants, both flying ants which managed to get in even with netting and windows closed and normal small, but fat ants. All over the kitchen worktop and inside kitchen cabinets.
The cleanliness was zero to none, as the bathrooms were both dirty and extremely tatty. The villa as a whole needs a desperate and urgent refurbishment . The worst part of it and what made us leave a day earlier was when we found 2 cockroaches in the ensuit bathroom.
It definitely needs a good cleanup, together with an urgent fumigation and a much needed revamp!!!

nobody liked it
did not like the villa very bad. there was a cockroach and another beetle that bit my child's back. and when we ask that on the last day I will be allowed to stay in the villa until the taxi arrives, that is until 1:00 p.m. we were simply told to leave at 11 o'clock. we will never go to this villa again, because as long as we have been traveling, we have always been allowed to stay until we leave. never been a problem. worse service never occurs. and I simply do not recommend resting here, it's a nightmare, not a vacation.

the house was very well equipped for a months stay. very close to a fabulous beach. lovely pool, I swam all through October. the house was cleaned twice a week by lovely friendly staff. we loved our stay here, and would definitely come again if some of the issues outlined below are addressed. Every member of staff we dealt with was really nice and helpful . I loved the solarium on the top floor which had great views of the sea.
you would need a car here as there are no shops or resorts nearby, although the beach is close . The decor is a bit dated and tired- but very functional and clean with everything needed for a long stay. the locks on the back doors will need replacing as they were a bit old and rusted, and caused a few problems at times.
we had a few issues with wild boar digging up the garden over a few nights which wasn’t nice. this was not the hotels fault of course and gardeners were in every time to repair the damage to the lawns - however , the garden needs to be fenced and secured to prevent this happening - as it was fairly regular.

The location was nice, and felt safe. The pool was big and garden area nice.
The villa we got was under the hotel, not very private.

The location is not too bad.
The sofas were so old, musty and dusty, that we had to cover them in bedsheets - having done this we still chose to sit on the outdoor plastic chairs because the sheets were not adequate coverage. The beds were musty and old and had springs sticking up all over. We were aching from trying to sleep on them. The soft furnishings all appear as though they have not been changed since the 60s/70s. The swimming pool tiles were not clean inside the pool, and were cracked an dirty around the pool. The pool had a childproof fence and gate around it (not shown in any of the photographs online) which spoiled our experience of a villa with pool. The ladder into the pool was loose and dangerous so could not be used. The shower by the front door was not fit for purpose, and no matter how careful we were the bathroom would flood with water so we didn’t use it. There were ants all over the kitchen surfaces regardless of how clean we kept the area. There were no fences around the villa and the people from the neighbouring villa regularly came into/peered into the garden while we were sat outside the villa; they proceeded to party with their very loud friends, and played their music full blast until 8am in the morning for three nights. We did not sleep. My daughter and I were covered in insect bites that were not typical of mosquitos, however, there was also a severe mosquito problem at the property. We complained about our experience to Booking.com/Villas Marbella. Cleaners were sent around, however the issue was not so much the cleanliness but the extremely dusty, smelly and uncleanable furnishings, which had resulted in me having an asthma attack shortly after our arrival. I explained this to Villas Marbella and they offered the inadequate and insulting solution of spraying some air freshener (which I explained would make my asthma even worse). I asked to be moved to another property and was told they were all ‘old’ and the same.

We (2 parents and 2 old teenagers) had a lovely stay. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom house. The kitchen was well equipped (stove, micro, coffee maker, kettle, fridge with freezer, lots of plates and glasses.) The pool was about 10 meters long. Big yard with several trees so we could sit in the shade. Bed was a bit harder than we have at home, but ok for 2 weeks.
Our house had two grocery stores close by (700 meters and 1 km away).
The beach was about 600-700 meters away.
The house is in a quiet residential area. The reseption is Very helpful if you have any questions.
Towels in the bathroom, we got new ones 4 times during our stay.
A few restaurant close by, and Glovo and some restaurants deliveres to the house 😀 We used Uber a lot when leaving the house, easy since we dont speak spanish.
Teenagers might want a house a bit closer to restaurants and action, but this is not a dislike. We loved our stay.
Some have complained of cockroaches, we did not see any during our 2 week stay.

Polite and helpfull staff
Hude Cockroaches everywhere in the villa, villa hasn't been cleaned prior to our arrival for few days so half dead cockroaches were literally everywhere.
Villa was facing construction site with building works going on from very early hours in the morning until 6 p.m. Huge crane right on top of the villa. Impossible to sleep
in the morning and relax during the day as workers literally watch you a meter away, see pictures. Resort management should not let out this property as people
who just want to stay in the pool will
never be able to rest.

The staff, I had a problem with the arrival because my flight was delayed and a member of Villa's Marbella gave me the solution at the moment. We'll come back again.
The kitchen has an old fashioned elecrric stove and there are no many blankets .
