Beautiful place! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Casa Arco Iris is beautiful and well appointed. The common room and outdoor spaces are fantastic with views to infinity in a quiet suburb of La Paz. Bev and Rick, the hosts, are the best. They turned several unexpected travel snafus into minor hiccups. Their willingness to help promptly (even on Christmas Eve and Christmas day) and recommendations for things to do were above and beyond.

I would happily come back to Arco Iris
Being in Centenario was quite nice, specifically because La Paz can be a bit much. It was quiet and we all enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool.
The photos on VRBO do not do this place justice. It is quite large and we easily could have fit more people comfortably. The hangout space near the pool gets a nice breeze and later in the afternoon there is a fair amount of shade. It would be easy to do a lot of cooking given all the supplies and there's a nice grill to use as well.
If the weather was a bit cooler, it would have been great to open up all the sliding glass doors to the yard. Unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage during our time, but the doors were easy to work with.
I'd definitely come back, though it could use more lizards.

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back back soon. The house is beautiful with a pool and jacuzzi! I would recommend to rent a car or have some sort of driver that knows the area. The only thing I would mention that the other people in the group did not appreciate someone coming to the house unannounced (they had repaired a chair and were bringing it back) Or that the detached bedroom kept getting crawlers inside. Other than that would recommend!

Returning to Paradise
We love this area and will return again - especially to this house. This was out first time renting this spacious home.
It worked well for our large group of family and friends and provided more than ample space to spread out for quiet time and space to come together for meals and pool/outdoor time.
Overall, the house was in good condition (we understand that it is a rental and that the weather can wreak havoc). Some of the kitchen utensils and plastic "glassware" could be replaced, however. A few things need some TLC - the patio door on the Casita looks like it may become detached from the concrete wall.
Despite the few things that could use some TLC, the house was perfect for us.
Bev and Rick were just fantastic to deal with from beginning to end and connected us with Jorge, a private chef, who came to the house to provide an amazing meal for our group (not expensive). Later in the week, our group returned to his restaurant for a dinner out (5 minutes away).
The location... while it is bit of a journey from Cabo (where we flew into), it is worth the drive. Walmart is great for groceries and other necessities (15 minutes ish) and the pool made us feel like we didn't have to leave the house everyday to enjoy "the water". Mind you, the drive to Tecolote or Balandra (beautiful beaches and swimming) is always an option and also worth the drive (45 min ish).
Thank you Bev and Rick for the amazing communication and always being available for us.

The Perfect Private Getaway
We were traveling for my boyfriend's birthday and spent the first part of our trip staying in an all-inclusive resort and I wanted to make sure that we had a more private oasis for the second part of our trip. This property provided exactly that and more! We'll definitely return when we need to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plus, Bev is a phenomenal property manager who answered all our questions and set us up with great restaurants and places to get everything we needed in the area. For example, she recommended a restaurant that you wouldn't find or know about unless you knew the locals. The food was 5 out of 5 stars and the service, surroundings, and overall vibe was perfect. We can't wait to return. Thank you, Bev!!

Truly enjoyed our time @ Casa Arco Iris! Each morning we would start our day by watching the sunrise by the fire pit. The property was just as beautiful in person as it is shown on the listing. The host is super responsive & so helpful with our questions. I highly recommend this property & look forward to returning!

Casa Arco Iris is truly beautiful from the moment you drive up to it. Beautiful desert landscape and stunning architectural design. The same holds true for the interiors, the pool area, etc. Really lovely.
The location was a bit farther from the Malecon (25 minutes) and beaches (50 min +) than we realised.
In addition, the area is very much in “transition” - a lot of homes are under construction and it’s not really a “finished” suburb- at least in the way we think of this in the US. But once at the house itself it is great.
Again, we enjoyed our stay, loved La Paz, had a great time diving w Dive in La Paz. They are a great shop / operation! My sons & husband fished, we enjoyed great meals, etc.
Bev & Rick are super nice and very responsive. Lovely people. Enjoyed meeting them both.

We stayed here a few years ago, and it is still great. It is away from Malecon, close to Plaza, and Walmart area. The house is located in a very quiet area with an excellent view of the entire waterfront, centro and Malecon. The house is awesome, modern, and has a lot of space and area for the kids to play, sit and have gatherings or just kick back. Bev is great and very accommodating and will make sure that everything is great for you.

This is a beautiful home with beautiful views of the city and the bay of La Paz
Bev was an amazing host! She was quick to resolve any issues we had. This home was perfect for our stay. The two separate casitas were a welcoming surprise to the main house. I recommend you have a car if you rent this house because it’s a little ways from town but that’s the best part about this house. The quiet and tranquility this home provides was amazing!!

Casa Arco Iris is beautiful! From the setting overlooking La Paz and the bay to the native landscaping it is stunning. The layout of the main house and 2 other separate spaces worked great for our group. The pool & hot tub were well-used as were the outside dining area and fire pit. The kitchen was all equipped and the house - and La Paz - had everything we needed for a great vacation.

Wonderful Luxury
The property was amazing and fit our entire family with kids very comfortably. Bev was amazing and efficient with any need during our stay. We also took advantage of having food prepared for us 5 of the nights which was a huge help as we had food for the entire family for the entire week. I would definitely recommend casa arco iris and Bev to anyone coming to La Paz looking to stay in Centenario.

Beautiful city, beautiful home!
8 of us stayed comfortably at this property the last week in March. The layout worked out well as we had 3 couples staying in three of the bedrooms, and two men staying in the room with two queens.
We chose to stay at a house instead of a hotel due to the beautiful property, the pool, private hot tub, fire pit, and flexibility to make our own meals. The pool and hot tub area was unbeatable and beautiful. The views you can see from the pool are stunning and being able to open up the whole wall to the pool area was a wonderful feature to the house. We were able to utilize the whole two car garage which was perfect and necessary for us because we had two vehicles.
The house was also a short drive from a Walmart which made it easy for us to get food, drinks, and other items we needed or ran out of like sunscreen.
Knowing that the beautiful city of La Paz does come with opportunistic crime, we appreciated the house's security system, and never felt unsafe. It took us a couple of tries to get used to setting it properly, but Bev and Rick were quick to answer any questions we had and stopped by to check in and help with anything as soon as we asked. They were helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay with everything from house questions to restaurant suggestions and directions.
One thing we learned quickly is that although the roads directly around La Paz (and from the Cabo airport) are well paved, you will find roads that many aren't, including the one from the main road to this house. We were able to find a roundabout way to avoid the major potholes/ditches.
During our trip we did choose to do a whale shark excursion, which all of us agreed was completely worth it! Very neat experience that you can't get in many areas of the world, and not as conveniently as in La Paz.
Our favorite day was our time at Balandra beach. Highly recommend driving out there! Stunning beach, not too crowded, and beautiful shallow warm blue water. It was nice to not to have to pack beach towels as well since they were provided at the house.
Also worth mentioning that if you're debating between Cabo and La Paz, we strongly recommend La Paz! Unless you're into lots of tourists, higher prices, and sales pitches at every corner, in which case Cabo is your place.
Overall we recommend this house and La Paz. We would definitely vacation there, and stay at this house again! Thanks, Bev and Rick!

The home has severe security issues!
The house itself was over priced and in need of fresh paint and new furniture. A dirty dusty rough road to get there. We were robbed the first night! Burglars came in while we slept armed with steel rebar , stole my purse, our cell phones and other items. If not for our dog I am not sure how it would of ended up. Spent the next day with 7 police officers investigating and taking finger prints. The maid, a few days later stole my ring stashed in a bag in the dresser, (no personal safe in the house). Bev, the hostess was great and got it back. Her and her husband tried hard to ease the situation. The next night burglars again came and our German Shepard ran them off..I was terrified the whole time and finally convinced my husband to leave early. We were refunded for two days but should of ask for it all back. I still might. I would not recommend anyone going to Mexico renting without gated security and security guards on duty through the night. The severity of security issues should of been disclosed.

A Home That Met All Our Needs and More
My family and I were thrilled with the gem we found in your luxurious compound house! Right from the start, with how easy it was to communicate with you, to the very end, we felt important (not just the people staying in your vacation home). We sat down together to give the following feedback:
What we really liked and appreciated:
-- how accessible Bev and Rich were
-- the various options given (possibility of a cook, use of a cooler, towels to take to the beach)
-- having a speaker for our music was great
-- great open spaces and diversity of spaces (people could be together or separate)
-- loved the spa!
-- drinking water provided was so appreciated (not provided at our second VRBO)
-- liked bedrooms separated so much so that early risers did not wake those sleeping-in
Possible improvements:
-- directions for the security system in the binder (the actual use was simple, but because we didn’t know the dynamics, it appeared confusing)
-- lighting in the living room is dim -- installing more overhead lighting or providing standing/table lamps would help
-- soap and shampoo in the bathrooms would be appreciated as travel by plane means we cannot bring shampoo (or let people know these are not provided in website description so we know to buy at first grocery shopping)
We highly recommend you and your home!

Beautiful, tranquil, well-equipped home
Three families visited and shared this beautiful abode. Kids swam for hours, parents cooked in a great kitchen and grilled outdoors, hungout and hot tubbed.
Perfect for families, great for daytime excursions then retreating home and enjoying this gem with views of la Paz city lights, the bay, and sunrises.

Private Home & La Paz - what a great combo
Stepped in and WOW. That was what we were looking for, a spotless place, quite and a lot of space for everyone of us. Bev and Rick gave us a warm welcome. The pool, the fire pit, a hot tub and a grill everything was on hand and in great condition, we miss the time by the pool and the fire. Thanks to Miriam for the breakfast - delicious. The house is located outside of La Paz, but it's only a quick drive to get to the city. We also love the beaches nearby, and here you will find the "real" Mexico, instead of Cabo. Thank you Bev, that you offer your house over VRBO. We're more then happy to stay there
Thank you - Thomas and family

Superb!
I can't say enough good things about the property, Bev and her staff, and Mexico! My four sons and their families and I enjoyed a wonderful week. Bev was always available to answer any questions and provide suggestions for Sightseeing, restaurants, and make transfer arrangements from the airport. I highly recommend that you hire Miriam to cook for you! She cooked every breakfast for us, and several dinners; everyone agreed it made our trip! Delicious meals, no shopping to do, no dishes to clean up!
The pool and hot tub were in constant use but the highlight was the fire pit on the patio; the adults spent hours every evening enjoying the view, the warmth, and the comraderie.
The house is about a 20 minute ride to downtown La Paz in a quiet rural area. The city is clean, the Malecon beautiful, and the people invariably friendly and helpful. We loved the beach at Balandra, and Bev gave us directions to a remote beach where there was great snorkeling and we were the only ones there! Spanish is helpful, but it was not hard to find English speakers.
We loved our visit and recommend it without reservations.

Great getaway in La Paz
My family of 10 stayed the week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There are 3 separate houses right next to each other that give added privacy as well as the main house with two rooms and couches that make into beds where everyone tended to hang out and enjoy the open room, jacuzzi, and pool. Bev and Rick were friendly, helpful and available for any needs that would arise.
The house is about 20 min. from the airport and about the same from the town. We all had a great time and would love to return.

Tranquil Bliss
We enjoyed our amazing Baja Oasis just outside La Paz. We had an amazing time enjoying the pool, hot tub. And grilling. The property is lovely with many amenities. It was very homey and tranquil. Beautiful birds to watch daily by the pool. Thanks for an AMAZING stay. We will be back!!

Beautiful home just outside La Paz
The home itself was beautiful, the Pool and hot tub were very well maintained and lovely. We had 5 adults and 2 small children and we were very comfortable! Bev was extremely helpful and attentive. She arranged cooks for us which was so nice! She also arranged a day on a boat - to Espiritu - what a great day! Snorkeling with sea lions, ceviche and cerveza on a white sand beach. Very nice wet suits, snorkel gear etc was included. Helpful to know that the home is located 'off the beaten path'.. so activity outside of the home requires a drive... of 20-60min... but as long as you recognize that- we highly recommend this home! Plan to exchange money before you arrive or use an ATM - don't exchange at the airport.. rate is horrible

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property! The property offers beautiful views, privacy and quiet surroundings. The home was spacious and clean. The property manager Bev is very friendly and easy to work with. We hope to be able to return again in the near future!

It is a very quiet place the house was bigger then expected and the views are amazing. Bev ' S recommendations on restaurants was great, all good food and service. And we really enjoyed the whale shark tour they were amazing To see and our guide was awesome.

Clean and stunning interior and exterior with gorgeous architectural details tones and materials!
Everything about the property is wonderful including the managers who assisted us with any questions we had about the property or local area. The pool and hot tub are stunning along with the views surrounding them. It was very nice to be in a quiet secluded section of town while still being just a brief drive from the main parts of La Paz. From stunning sunsets to endless starry nights, this is a gem in a wonderful baja town! The whale sharks are just up the road, everything in town is less than 10-15 min away, I would highly recommend this property to anyone from couples to families or large groups as it can easily accommodate any of the above.

Awesome pool and great home!
As a group of six (3 couples) our stay here was wonderful and the property manager was extremely accommodating with lots of helpful information and recommendations for good restaurants close by and in town. We took her advice and booked a trip to Isla Espiritu Santo to dive and snorkel with whale sharks and sea lion pups through Red Travel and we were not disappointed. The trip was amazing and our three guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The food at all the restaurants we dined at was excellent as was the in home meals prepared by our cook, Miriam. La Paz is a beautiful city rich in history and culture and the locals are very friendly and helpful. We loved the fact that there's plenty of good shopping, places to eat, and fun things to see and do while not bei g over run with tourists. Loved every minute of our visit and can't wait to go again!!

The house is beautiful - just like the photos. The pool was a perfect place to cool and relax in the afternoon. Bev, the manager was wonderful. She was so helpful throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is a drive from La Paz centro but all in all, we had a great and memorable family vacation.

Fell in love with La Paz and this casa
First time visiting La Paz, and so thankful we picked this property. It's architecture and feel is very warm and inviting. The views are incredible and the pool divine. Bev was especially helpful in helping us gringos navigate and had a warm welcome for us after a day of travel. Her recommendations on many things were spot on and we do feel extremely fortunate to have found this gem. It's outside of La Paz in a residential neighborhood which makes it very private. We toured Baja Expeditions to snorkel with sea lions, whale sharks, and saw humpback whales, an adventure of a lifetime- loved how La Paz is so NOT Cabo. Worth mentioning- the Master bedroom is detached from the casa that has 2 bedrooms, so if you have children you feel that might be uncomfortable sleeping apart from you it's worth it to know.

great La Paz family vacation
Our family of 9, children and grandchildren, had a wonderful time here. There was plenty of space to spread out yet tables big enough to come together for meals. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub and there was lots of splashing and laughter coming from it. We had adventures swimming with whale sharks and sea lion pups, absolutely beautiful beaches, whales, dolphins and too many birds to mention. It was a unique experience and this was the house where it was possible for our family group.
