Right by the coast, nice and quaint, easy enough to get to
The room did not have heating at all, and the WiFi was non existent

The price was amazing. It was a last minute overnight stay as I had an appointment in the city the next morning. Great night's rest. The shower knob was a little bit stiff resulting in a cold shower but got warm water when I managed to leaver the knob, my own doing :D. All in all would stay again for definite. Really warm also which is difficult in Galway next to the seaside.

Good location
A bit old, somehow cramped spaces

Location
The property was filthy - I complained about the bathroom which was covered in excrement and had clearly not been cleaned.

Clean. Tea and coffee,
En suite, not too noisy.
Near shops and decent restaurants.
I've bad back pain since sleeping in bed. Room is only fit for 1 adult. Find your own parking space somewhere.
It's basic.

Friendly staff, clean, located right in the heart of Salthill, perfect for my short stay. Would stay again.
Right on the main street, potential to be noisy at night but this didn’t affect me!

I had the lovely room 3 again.
It’s clean and spacious.
Very comfortable beds 🛌.
Would definitely recommend a stay.
One little problem is the plugs for the kettle when you need to make tea.and the kettle is too big to fill under the wash hand tap,you have to use a glass to fill it with water.

Location
Our room was not as good as the photos it was very very dated and worn out. The whole place needs to be redecorated. Although its relatively cheap its still overpriced for the quality of the accommodation.

great room if a little old fashioned. John is a wonderful host and the ‘village’ is a great location.
no WiFi.

Perfect location .
No microwave at the hotel.
5.0
Location right at the seafront of Galway. Free parking opportunity on public area (200m from hotel).
Room very basic with a very small bathroom. Rooms above a Pub, so even on the 2nd floor noise from entrance door until late night.
View from room (but ok due to less noise from outside)
Wifi signal low, Internet very slow/sometimes not accessible

Great location, well stocked coffees and toiletries. Room was warm and bed was comfy.
Shower wasn't great, the place was quite dirty and rooms weren't soundproof at all I could literally hear people in another room snoring
1.0
There is no sound isolation. Practically no wi-fi. Almost no heating (they switch it completely off at 10 pm). Miserable, old, shabby bathroom. Very cold, dark, depressing place where you cannot sleep until 2 am because of the noise from downstairs bar. Extremely overpriced for what it offers and in what state the establishment is.

Ovation and value for money

Staff were friendly, engaging and helpful.
Wifi didn’t work in the rooms at all, and sometimes not even in the lobby. Location is almost 25min walk into town.
