It is very hard to find parking after 20:00 You can hear everyone in the corridor and the street.

We loved Chania, but felt the apartment was over-priced.

We received a very good welcome and were given helpful advice on where to eat. Location was good - easy to get to the harbour and restaurants. Easy free parking close by. Living area and bedrooms were spacious. The free bottles of water were gratefully received. The hustle and bustle from the Saturday market was good to see. There was a corner shop in close proximity.

The online photos made the apartment look very up-to-date and clean. However, many of the kitchen units and bedroom units had seen better days; the dining table had a damaged area; the bathroom needed a complete refurb, was mouldy and not clean enough. The shower curtain needed a good scrub. Bathroom quite unpleasant overall. The living area floor was dirty in places. The living room balcony was tiny and had lots of water from the a/c unit; the unit also made the balcony even warmer than we would have expected. That said, we would consider using Forum City Apartments again for the convenience.

The room was nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Before we arrived the receptionist contacted us to know what time we will come, and waited for us. Free street parking, except saturday which was dificult. From the hotel it is a 5 minute walk to city center

We asked for towels for the beach, but were refused.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff was absolutely delightful, the room was clean and the location was great. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania.

We would highly recommend staying at the Forum Apartments

The location was perfect for walking in Old Town. Sypros was extremely helpful and dealt with our complicated arrival. Any other staff we encountered were just as willing to ensure our trip was enjoyable.

with a new bathrom and walkin-in shower, this place would be great

- the location is very close to the old port - big bed

- the street is very loud, so sleeping with windows open is not an option - no walk in shower, but a small (and stained) tub with a drape - photos are better than reality, the room needs renovation

The hosts were so kind and efficient. Sent a driver to wait for us at the airport, which was so great. Excellent location, very close to the beautiful old city center and at walking distance from Nea Chora beach. Spacious and clean apartments, with air conditioning. I warmly recommend!

I would have liked a little bigger balcony to enjoy the stunning view from the property to the sea while sitting outside. I believe anyway that some of the apartments in the complex have larger balconies than ours, so this may not be a general problem.

Great central location, yet on a calm and not a noisy street. Very good studio, clean and tidy, have everything you need and with an extremely comfy bed. The hosts were super welcoming, supportive and nice people. Have in mind that they also can help with rent a car booking or arranging a taxi shuttle to and from the airport. Fully recommended!

Excellent experience.

Excellent location, quite area, close to the harbor and also to the Cultural Center of Chania, in case you have a conference to attend. Very helpful host and studio is relatively big and very clean.

Great. We enjoyed it very much!

Spyros and his staff are very nice, helpfull and kind. They attended to every request very fast. Spyros arranged the taxi for us both ways.

We enjoyed our time at the Forum City Apartments

The room is very comfortable. We washed our clothing using the in room washing machine. It is close to the port

Very good location. Parking free outside

We booked the standard room which has plenty of space and a small balcony. Very Clean room, kitchen and washing machine available. Communication was great, Spyros and his colleague were extremely helpful. They also organized a PCR test for us in the apartment. Parking is widely available outside the apartment for free and restaurants and city center is at a 3-5 min walk.

The reason for the score not being higher is for 2 reasons: - the shower size is small although there is plenty of room in the bathroom for a bigger one - in order to get hot water you have to start the heating 20 min before and it doesn’t last long. We actually ran out of hot water once. This could be inconvenient if you want to have a quick shower before heading out. To be fair, we were informed about the hot water situation, but I guess we didn’t think it was a big deal until it was :)

Best time really great stay!

Great place to stay! very clean and comfortable, close to everything and quiet. Spyros the host is super welcoming, friendly and sweet. he gave us a lot of really good and helpfull tips, took care of booking a covid test we had to do before leaving, and some requests with our car rental. we enjoyed the staff very much and felt very taken care of! If you rent a car, they will arrange a free parking right next to the front door! On saturday's there's a small little market that comes to the street and you can buy greek products. We had such a great time there. Very recommanded. Thank you guys :)

Great location which is close to a lot of restaurants and only a couple of minutes from the best spot in the old town to watch those stunning Cretan sunsets. There's a corner store less than one minute away. Spyros was very helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat. I needed to work one day (just a 90 minute conference call with six people) and the WiFi was excellent. Very comfy beds, nice view from the balcony. Overall, my wife and I were extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

Really disappointed in this accommodation, especially for the cost. We stayed for 5 nights early September. On arrival, our bathroom had not been cleaned since the previous guests (trash in the waste bin, dirty sink, and dirty toilet rim). We went downstairs and notified the receptionist. The receptionist followed us back to the room, collected the waste basket trash, and prepared to leave. When we told her we were still uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the place, she promised to send cleaners the next day and proceeded to “clean” using the kitchen sink sponge and dish soap. Shortly after she left, the receptionist returned with an offer from the manager to have the room recleaned. All this to say, this should have been the first and most appropriate response from the receptionist when she found the room not properly cleaned. Our cleaning issue aside, the remainder of our stay was okay. Cleaners every other day (although reviews in June and July said every day). The interior of the superior studio was not as pictured on booking.com (mostly referring to the bathroom that looked dated, toilet seat that wasn’t sized appropriately for the toilet, and very bizarre shower head placement). Parking was an ongoing issue for us with the exception of arrival day (on a Saturday, following the farmer’s market when the street was empty), but this is not accommodation related. Parking in the city is tight. Water heater needs to be turned on 20 minutes prior to use. Our disappointment was so great that mid booking, I went back to booking.com to see where we had gone wrong. Once the remainder of our family arrived on the island, we moved two blocks to Polixeny’s Suites for four more nights. For the SAME price per night, we had the most amazing (literal night and day difference) experience at Polixeny’s Suites. Wouldn’t stay at Forum City Apartments again.
