Si necesitan estar cerca de la Universidad del Valle es perfecto! El personal es maravilloso, todas son MUY MUY amables y buenas personas y si les gustan los gaticos van a ser muy felices allá porque tienen dos :) Perfecta relación calidad/precio.

El desague de la ducha de mi habitación estaba tapado, cuando me bañaba se llenó de agua.

Best price/benefit relation for a hotel in Cali

The property is quite nice, clean and comfortable. This hotel would be my first choice if I do need to spend some nights in Cali, well located and the price is unbeatable.

I would definitely stay again

Lovely staff; quiet room; comfortable bed; good breakfast; clean nice sized room. I actually ended up extending my stay at the hotel as I liked it so much.

The swimming pool is in an awkward place right in front of the reception, so I did not use it. If you are choosing this hotel for the pool, then maybe a different one is better.

I recently stayed at Casa Esmeralda in Cali and I have to say that the location was amazing! It was so convenient to be able to walk everywhere and explore the city. The wifi was fast and reliable, which was great because I needed to get some work done. The breakfast was also really delicious and gave me a good start to my day. Overall, I had a great experience at Casa Esmeralda and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cali.

Sometimes, during daytime you can hear people talking across the hallway, this Is not a big issue as there are usually not too many people walking around making noise. The staff is respectful and they do their job without causing any disturbances. The space is very quiet at night, which is rare in cities like Cali.

A great choice for your stay to visit Cali

Every aspect of this hotel is first class. The check in staff is extremly helpful. Breakfast is excellent . Location was perfect for what we wanted to see and do . Our room was looked after every day by two lovely ladies who did a fantastic job. Overall this hotel and its service helped to make this a truly great trip. Confortable, clean and safe rooms, good location and friendly staff

Everytime you need to go im the hotel you need to ring the door bell and the day shift guy it seems like he is always sleeping and had to wait too long to get in

loved it!

It's a beautiful place with the most comfortable bed I've been in a long time, everything is very well-kept. There is a mini bar in the room, so you can buy some stuff to keep and snack. The pool is very fresh, not too suitable for colder days, but definitely a nice place to get some rest. Nearby, like a block away, you can find the "ciclovía" and take a run, there's a mall close by. I really enjoyed my stay. The cleaning staff is very nice and attentive. There's a space in the kitchen with (instant) coffee, and tea, to drink anytime.

Sometimes they take longer to get the door than you'd expect for a hotel. But as of the rest it's a really nice place to stay and get away from work.

Perfect and smooth stay

Excellent service in the excellent property. Casa Esmeralda has a unique architecture, new , clean and the friendlies service I hav eever met. The owner of the Hotel Sebastian speaks perfectly English and it a great asset for most not speaking Spanish visitors. he and his mother provide extremely hospitality so you have the feeling that you are visiting a close family relatives.The staff of the hotel is very accurate and friendly, I strongly suggest if you are visiting cali and you have to be in the south part of the city to visit the hotel.

Great, comfy, quiet and safe

The place is so homely and cosy. Everything was super clean, and it was great to sit in the balcony when the sun was not too strong. The bed was clean and comfortable. Also, we could work both in the room and in the common area downstairs. The cats made the ambience even better. Such cuuute and nice cats! You can definitely feel that the cats and the place are loved and taken care of well by the owners. It was a definitely good find and a place to stay for us as a couple. For a solo visitor, it will be good as well. The place is safe and quiet. And all the great sites, like Unicentro and other shopping malls and restaurants are only 5 min away by car. The owners were very helpful in every matter.

The only two reasons it's not 10 but 9.5 are that you need to take a taxi or drive for about 5 min to the nearest shopping places. Walking is possible but it's much better by car. And the other thing is that the place looks like a private house hidden behind a door with bars. When we came there first time, it took us a minute or two to confirm that that was the place. The name of the place is not so obvious there. That was all. I would definitely recommend the place and go back there myself once I am back in Cali. It was a great experience at a very reasonable price.
