Clean but basic

The room was clean but basic

There were no mugs in the room for the two night stay, even though there was a kettle, coffee etc Reception was in another house and we couldn't get in touch as it was always closed and nobody answering the phone. Price was expensive for facilities

Shower was OK

Carpet filthy stains all up walls everywhere, no milk for tea and coffee ,cup had cracked in it all in all I felt that I was robbed out of my money that's why I cancelled my next stay if I would have to stay anywhere it wouldn't be there again . 0

Pleasant

Good price

Bed was small in length, and could do with triple glazing as was quiet noisy on the main road. Parking was also a bit tricky.

Receptionist was not very polite and helpful. It was difficult to understand what receptionist was saying. Extremely strong accent.

Location hard to find Mattresses very thin Room freezing cold when first entering Dirty shower mat/towel on the floor Peeling walls Flickering lights Not much choice for breakfast

Pretty good

The shower had good pressure.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side.

Bad choice

The receptionist was very polite and was trying to help as much as he could

Clean but everything was old and worn out, including bed sheets, carpets and towels, looked like used for ages. The internet was very slow and constantly interrupted. The stuff didn't look after for supplying a new toilet tissue or soap in the bathroom, sugar and milk for coffee or tea. The TV didn't have good area if at all, and was with bad quality pictures. Sometimes the heating was forgotten off and it needed time to get warm or having hot water, after questioning the stuff. The cost is too much for such bad quality 👎

Near to rail station, and town centre, room was very clean and comfortable, and value for money

Bed, Room, complimentary coffee etc-there were 8 coffee, 6 tea, 8 milk

reception opens 3pm- had to walk about for 30 mins, but I had told them I was arriving later than 3pm. How to use door card to work elec was not explained, and was not obvious to me.

Located at the rear of the property, no traffic noise. Good bathroom, shower v.g.

Springs to powerful on the room doors, banging through the night, WiFi very poor, off and on with mobile, unable to access on the laptop. Furniture dated, beds seen better days.

Nice little hotel, close to centre.

The room was very nice and not far from the centre.

Struggled to find the entrance. Booking.com said number 50 and it's not called gateway express on the main sign which was confusing. It just says gateway.

Hotel seems to be a delivery drivers' doss house - would not recommend for families

Room was ok.

Reception was supposed to be open until 10.30 p.m. but was closed at 10.15. Very badly signposted - took a while to find the hotel in the dark. Reception was at No. 42 but our room was at No. 50. Had to walk in the rain from one house to the other. No mention when booking that the horel was some 6 different propertioes in a row on th street.

Overall price was good value for money and the accommodation was well presented

All round value for money. The exterior was a bit off putting which is being refurbished but inside was comfortable and clean

FACILITIES WERE CLEAN AND GOOD TO HAVE KETTLE WITH COFFEE ETC

TV didn't work. Area very noisy at night. You can't access the hotel until 3pm but there is a number to ring should you have a problem. Reception not open on the morning we left so we had to post the key card. After posting the key card through we realised we had left a jacket in the room. Unable to access the building/room we rang the number provided but no one replied. I rang later, being told I'd get a call back within the hour, which I didn't, another time asked to ring back at 5pm but no one answered and several other times no answer at all so very difficult to make contact with anyone. Our mistake but if I had got hold of someone I have explained I am happy to pay for any expense to post the coat

staff very helpful very clean & good provision the room was small but adequate & I wanted a cheap room everything you need nicely fitted out

very hard to find as no picture of outside on booking.com. also very confusing that they have 2 properties 2 doors apart lots of going to reception to sort entry card parking etc then got into bed & found only 1 battery in remote! lots of noise from road & rail. would have liked option of quieter room as I think there were empty rooms
