Our newly built coastal luxury home was designed with an "Old Florida Architecture" style and features a gorgeous private pool! Salty Shores is conveniently located within a few minutes walk to your very own private beach access where you can enjoy an amazing and uncrowded section of the beach with sandbars and turtles! Our spacious two story home features 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, 2 covered porches and a kids alcove. Enjoy a state of the art gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. Our private, resort style pool features waterfalls and can be heated in the colder months! Our backyard oasis also includes tables with chairs, chaise loungers, and a gas grill for your favorite outdoor meals. Each bedroom is well equipped with flat-screen HDTV's and each Master Suite (excluding bunk room) has a full private en suite bathroom. The Bunk-room features full-over-full bunk beds with twin trundles underneath. In the living room, you will find a large sectional sofa with plenty of seating to relax in front of the flat-screen TV. The kids alcove is a family favorite for little ones, perfectly setup as the ultimate mini-playroom! Enjoy your meals in the exquisite dining room that is perfectly lit up by a gorgeous industrial chandelier, or step outside for a more relaxed dining experience by the pool. You will truly have the best of both worlds here at Salty Shores! Salty Shores is also within walking distance to many popular restaurants including "Whale's Tail" and "Pompano Joe's" on the beach. Our Home is less than 2 miles from the "Silver Sands" luxury shopping outlet, which is one of the largest designer retailer outlets in the nation. You will also enjoy the close proximity to several grocery stores, pharmacies, hospital and of course just a few minute walk onto the sand! Inside this prestigious gated beach community of Emerald Waters Villages you'll find two lushly landscaped community swimming pools in addition to your private pool. In an effort to protect the security of our Homeowner and Guests, there are surveillance cameras on the outside perimeter of the home. Please note the Front Door Surveillance Camera is pointed towards the pool gate and the pool area will be in frame of the camera coverage. This fabulous private community is located on the East side of Holiday Road in Miramar Beach near the corner of Scenic Gulf Drive and Frangista Beach. We are close to tons of shopping, dining, golfing, and entertainment. Destin Commons is a favorite Shopping area in Destin as well as Silver Sands. Anchor stores in Destin Commons include Bass Pro Shop, H&M Store, Belk and Uncle Bucks upscale Bowing alley. Silvers Sands boasts designer stores such as Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Coach. Close by you will also find Whole Foods and Publix Grocery. There are so many nearby activities and places to enjoy. You will love your Vacation here at " Salty Shores"! This property is stocked with a Starter Kit to get you through your first 24 hours. This includes two kitchen trash can liners, two dishwashing packets, mini shampoo, conditioner, lotion, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and one roll of paper towels. We supply bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels. We do not supply beach towels, laundry detergent, seasonings/spices, or liquid dishwashing detergent. Guests will need to replenish supplies as needed. *Please note that due to the health and severe allergies of the host we cannot accept animals of any kind in this unit. The house is laid out well and accommodated our crew perfectly. The pool was amazing, the under stairway retreat was a perfect hideaway for kids and the house was in a great location with nice and new amenities. It was just a short walk to the beach or a quick drive to any Destin Destination. Having the bathrooms in each bedroom offered privacy. The kitchen had all the tools needed for keeping folks fed on the go or a place to sit and hang out. The island in the kitchen was a little big for the space, so it limited having too many cooks in the kitchen. Overall a wonderful place to relax or minutes away from any fun in the sun activity!

There were 16 of us. 9 adults and 7 kids. Short walk and easy access to the beach. The pool at the house was utilized daily as well. Enough room for us all without being in each other’s way. This was a fabulous bucket list dream come true for me!!
We did not use the free passes…maybe several free to one thing would have been more utilized.

The location of the property is great. A family oriented neighborhood and close to main strip and beach. The sofa in the family room is deceiving. It is large but not comfortable. Mattresses were a bit lumpy. I guess some of this is to be expected due to different people occupying the house.

We loved a lot of things about this property but as others have said it desperately needs a deep clean (dust built up on baseboards, light fixtures, under furniture, base of cabinets, hair on window sills, etc). The house layout and flow was very comfortable for our group of 14 (8 adults, 6 kids ages 1.5-11). Good room size, personal bathroom for each bedroom. Good location, easy walk to the beach. But the “private” beach was so crowded. We ended up doing the beach service, but were in the third row of beach goers until our last day, after many discussions with the service (La Dolce Vita). Maybe it would help if the house came with one service included so we had a better location on the beach near the water (important to us with small children).

Home was exactly as described. Clean, well equipped, great location, close to the beach, close to restaurants, close to grocery store and shopping! Outdoor heated pool and backyard area were amazing! We highly recommend this home!

This home was such a great location to the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The home was the perfect size for our family offering enough beds and rooms. The only thing that could have been different was more attention to dusting of lights and furniture as well as a few added kitchen utensils to make it even easier for out of state guests to feel like everything they need is right in the home. Would recommend this home to others!

Premium price should receive premium service and cleanliness with everything in working order. Not so. Disappointing issues.
- Freezer not working (ice cream was too soft); food not freezing properly; food safety concerns.
- Dirty kitchen (crumbs on counters in multiple places and grime built up all around faucet and sink).
- Need more wash cloths. One per person is ridiculous.
- Kids room with balcony is a BIG safety hazard.
- Broken oven (should have been fixed BEFORE we arrived).
- BBQ grill was dirty.
- No bbq wire brush to clean grill.
- No light bulb in lamp by bed on main floor (hazard). Should have been replaced BEFORE arrival.
- Pool alarm was not working upon arrival … BIG HAZARD FOR CHILDREN!
- Trash should have been gone upon arrival not left for US to deal with!
- Pool hose was not working upon arrival.
- Broken top drawer in the dresser of bedroom on main floor. It fell out and hit my hand giving me bruises and a mark (I have a picture of it). Very upsetting. This caused me to have an injury that should not have happened and now I have to live with the pain and healing because of the owners negligence

This home was such a great location to the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The home was the perfect size for our family offering enough beds and rooms. We loved this house and the location. Beach was an easy walk with a gate access and the neighborhood was great. House was great for a big family and has everything you could possibly need. I also loved the parking and garage for this house it was much bigger than most other properties we have stayed at in Florida.

We also had a little issue with the pool, but they were responsive In order to correct the problem quickly. The house cleanliness is a 3. Rugs had spots on it and walking across the floor after 10 mins the bottom of our feet were dark from dirt. I paid a premium price and I expected the property to be prestine. Bright side of 2020
This house was a perfect fit for our families. The location was close enough to walk, bike, or take a golf cart ride to the beach. The house looked like it was recently renovated and was pristine upon arrival. The pool was great for sun bathing or swimming for the kids and the sleeping arrangements were great except the bunk room has to share a bathroom with another room. Overall, with COVID going around, this house was truly a home away from home and a great, clean, well kept and well maintained place to spend our 2020 family vacation.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! Located close to Miramar beach, just a short walk away. The gated community was beautiful and very private. The house had everything you need. Absolutely no complaints. The best!

McAllister Beach Vacation
We loved the house! It was perfect size for our family especially the room with bunk beds for the kids and the swimming pool. Very quiet and private even though there were houses close by. There were a couple of hiccups initially:
1. We had to call and get the code for the house
2. There was a leak around the stool in one of the bathrooms that took them 3 days to come and fix after I called
3. Finally we had trouble getting the golf cart going. They had not sent a release for us to sign so that took time to get that sent and returned. We had signed a release for the bikes before we got there online so that worked out well.
Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it.🤗�

Great property!
We were very impressed with the quality and condition of the property. The house is well designed in terms of layout, the kitchen was well equipped and the property seemed brand new. The pictures on the website are very accurate. The golf cart came in very handy in travel to/from the beach. We had a minor maintenance issue and they were extremely responsive to remedying the issue. We had a great overall experience.

Beautiful Home and Location!
We just returned from our stay at Salt Life. It is a beautiful home - staged perfectly. The pool is really the thing that sold us on this house. Most homes in this area did not have pools because the beach is so close but it really helped after a day at the beach, to come back and jump in the pool!
Pros: everything in the home is new, nice large bedrooms, plenty of space for kids and adults! SUPER short walk to the public beach.
Cons: no beach towels (bring your own), there's a lot of construction going on but it was not a big deal, took a bit to get the bikes. Golf Cart only seats 4 people, not 6 as shown in pic. No where to park the golf cart at the beach. Kids room needed some better lighting, so we moved the lamps around. Also the entrance to the beach was busy and you better remember the code or you can't get in or out!! couldn't work the fireplace. Maybe plan to offer some games/cards etc
