The location is great. The accommodation is poor

The location is perfect.

The garage could not be used as the door was broken, this included the dryer. There is no lift access. Walking up flights of stairs with heavy cases was not easy. This would be impossible for elderly or physically impaired people. This needs to be advertised. The one air con in the lounge was faulty, it leaked water the whole time (3 days). We had three soaking towels daily. The noise from the air con was so loud. Unfortunately it was so hot we had to use this. The range hood over the cook top did not work. This meant the unit smelt of whatever was cooked. We couldn't open windows as bugs and flies came in, plus the air con was on. Very disappointing in all.

Batteries on tv, fans, appliances were all dead and we could not get the internet to work.

It was clean and close to the beach

It’s outlook was another block of flats and there was no privacy.

*Location - walk through the park to Kings Beach and restaurants. Short stroll to tavern *Clean *Comfy beds with quality linen *Quiet

*Lights from neighbouring complex are on 24/7. The curtains are blackout but light streams in around the edges and middle.

Very clean apartment, has everything we need. Easy check in and check out. So close to the beach, abt 30mins drive to Australia Zoo and 15mins drive to Aussie World.

Kitchen light and remote control for the fans weren't working. It was a bit stuffy when you can't open the windows on a rainy night.

Exceptional

This apartment felt like a home away from home! A thoughtful space for families with everything you’d need on a holiday including enough dishwashing liquid and washing powder for a whole stay! Close to the beach, local shops, surf club and tavern. Beds were so comfy and property was very very clean, even the oven was nice and clean which made the stay more enjoyable for a mother who is forever cleaning as this stay was easy to maintain! Definitely would stay again.

It's okay but the ad is FAR from accurate, look closely at the pics so you know what you're getting.

The comms from the owners was good, very detailed and in good time. We had no questions and found the keys easily. It was clean, reasonably well equipped and nicely presented. The garage is small but I reversed my Suzuki Vitara in quite comfortably, good to have it off the street overnight. The Smart TV gives access to Netflix, free services, anything you're subscribed to (Prime, Disney etc).

The listing says: "The property is non-smoking and is located 300 metres from Kings Beach." The property also is described as "on Kings Beach" and with the photos and the description of "300m from the beach", you'd expect it's at least got beach glimpses. It doesn't. Then the listing says "A private entrance leads guests into the apartment". Not quite - the 'private entrance' is a shared entrance that leads to a steep staircase. We were travelling with an 84 yo with limited mobility who uses a walking frame. If there was any mention of steps in the listing description, we'd have known it wasn't suitable. The steps were a major barrier, and stopped us going in and out as we'd planned as they were difficult and painful for her to traverse. The angle of the photos of the pool and the beach led us to believe that the apartment was in a large complex with lift access - no mention that it's the public pool near the surf club. There's also no mention that the apartment seems to be an Air B'n'B - we prefer to not use them. Look closely at the photos to see that the view from the living area is another apartment block on one side, no photo of the view of the other side, which is the driveway of business premises. No issues with that, it is is what it is - but that's not what the listing description or the photos lead you to believe. The fridge buzzes all night, the aircon is very noisy, the sofa bed has a big gap between the two parts when it's folded out, the bathroom gets VERY wet when you shower because there's no shower door and no ventilation so condensation makes the floor slippery - we wouldn't let our 84yo have a shower there. There's no security or fly screening on the patio doors so you can't leave those open for fresh air if you're having a nap.

Very good

The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the King’s Beach. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. Self check-in is a plus.

The place could be cleaner and better ventilated. Windows facing another building.

Very pleasant, would not be afraid to visit again.

When stopping at coast it is nice to sit on balcony and see the sea, but not the end of the world when facilities are the unit is as good as it was.

beautiful place and amazing location. i will be staying here again

i really loved how close it was to the beach and how bright the interior was. you just walked in and felt happy with all the pinks and yellows and whites.

i think the outside of the apartment is a bit creepy. but the inside definitely makes up for that because it is so nice on the inside.

Convenient location, great renovated modern unit close to Kings Beach and Caloundra. Clear instructions on how to enter the property in lieu of reception which was great.

Nothing to mention. Was a little confused on arrival as we thought it was serviced apartments with reception but wasn’t the case.

General good stay need to pay attention to points as mentioned

While the apartment is an older property, it had been refurbished and updated with modern appliances and well maintained.

We had arranged for early entry but the apartment was not cleaned until 2:00 pm. When getting ready for bed we were disappointed to find there was no bed linen for the fold out couch as advertised and my daughter and her husband had to lie on the couch with just a quilt over them.

Suited our overnight stay needs to visit local friends.

The apartment easily fit 3 adults and 3 children. The place was very clean, suitably stocked for our overnight stay and the bed were comfortable.
