The facilities, the staff and the room were great.The parking in the hotel garage was easy and secure.

It was close to the Institute where I had to go.
There were no bottles of water in the room, no coffee maker, no hot water for tea, as I was used at a 4* hotel.

Something I liked the most - is the friendly and smiling receptionist. She's the most positive and helpful person I met in Zagreb
The room was very small and not clean unfortunately, and we felt uncomfortable because of this. The balcony door was not working properly. The walls are so thin that we heard our neighbours. The breakfast was not tasty and the waiter was very sad and gloomy. The plates were not clean enough for the breakfast, just washed and with water drops. I think I will not book this hotel anymore...

The room was large, tidy, utilitarian. Good breakfast. Location nearly perfect, not too far from the center (about half hour walking distance).
Annoying: The room was too warm! With both radiators turned down and the balcony door fully open (with close to 0 degrees C outside) it was still uncomfortably hot the entire night and I like to sleep in a cool place! The likely culprit: a large uninsulated pipe running under the ceiling along the entire length of the room.
Some nitpicking now:
I noticed some reviewers stating that parking is free at this hotel. Well, it wasn't for us, I guess they must have changed the policy. 15 EUR (per stay? per night? - we only stayed one night) isn't much, but it would be nice if it was mentioned up front when I was making the reservation.
I didn't find any information about the WiFi anywhere in the room (and I didn't bother to ask the reception desk), so I had to resorted to using my mobile phone as a hotspot.
