Located in Wailua, this charming resort for $297 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We are proud to offer you a clean and modern condo in the heart of Kauai. It's convenient location will allow you to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Our unit is part of Plantation Hale suites which features 3 outdoor pools and spas, BBQ areas, and a full concierge and activities desk. The resort has several restaurants, beach access, a mini market, car rental, business center and an ATM. You can easily drive to Waimea Canyon, Opaekaa Falls, Horseback, Riding, Hiking, Kayaking, Napili Coast, and Wailua Golf Course from the condo. The resort is about 7 miles from Lihue Airport, which is about a 15 minute drive with no traffic. The condo has free parking. This upper unit is optimized for the comfort of a family or group of four (up to 5). It has 1 bedroom that is furnished with plush 2 full sized beds and a sofa bed with soft memory foam. It has 1 full bathroom equipped with a shower and a fully stocked kitchen with essentials like a microwave, electric stove top, and oven as well as a toaster, coffee maker, multi-cooker, and rice cooker. Our unit will provide the comforts of a home away from home, so you can spend less time worrying about the small things and really get the most out of your stay. The living room and bedroom features a brand new 50" flat screen 4K smart UHD TV with cable and Roku TV with free movies, Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is also a DVD player so you can rent your favorite movies from nearby Safeway and play them if you wish to. We also provide high-speed Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the condo, as well as a USB/NFC docking station in every room for all of your electronic devices. The bedroom and living room both have in wall AC units that will provide an escape from a hot day. A new whisper quiet AC just installed in the bedroom. The condo’s location offers convenient access to markets and is steps to a beach with a jogging path, beaches, rivers, activities, restaurants, and more. The Coconut Market place with shops, Waipouli Town Center and Kauai Village Shopping Center and has supermarkets, Starbucks, McDonalds, and restaurants is a few minutes away. You can enjoy Coconut Marketplace farmer market every Tuesday and Thursday 9am-1pm and free Hula Dance show every Wednesday 5pm and Saturday 1pm and live Hawaiian music every Friday 5pm. Driving out a few minutes will get you to a place where you can rent bikes and enjoy the picturesque bike trail along the shoreline. The Wailua golf course, Lydgate State Park and Wailua River is close by and are great locations to kick back and relax. Lydgate State Park has a massive wooden playground and an amazing enclosed snorkeling area that is open to the public, and the Wailua River is simply perfect for kayaking and rentals are offered near the river. We provide a few beach items you can use for your enjoyment, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a boogie board, and beach towels. With these, you will be all set to enjoy the beach with your family or friends! There is a shared laundry room just right downstairs. THIS IS A NON SMOKING UNIT. Location in Kapaa is convenient for being equal distance between Waimea and Hanalei. Also close to Coconut Marketplace (shops and restaurants), Lydgate State Park and Safeway. The unit itself is in need of some TLC. There was a terrible smell in the main living area; mixture of chemicals and mildew. Had to buy an air freshener to be able to enter the room. Bathroom sink stopper and faucets are not functioning correctly. Toilet/shower area is very small and would be a challenge for more than 2 adults to share. There is a pool right behind the unit which could be noisy at night. If you have kids it is convenient. Only one lock on the door (no additional chain lock or other security). Door had to be pulled/pushed closed. I did not feel safe at night with only one lock. Can't recommend based upon the issues listed above.

We stayed with our 10- and 12-year olds for nearly a week and were happy to come back to this condo after each day's adventures. The supplies we needed for beachgoing, cooking, sleeping, and cleaning were all at hand. Parking next to the condo, doing laundry with the app, and navigating around the adjacent Coconut Marketplace were simple. Navigating from Kapa'a to points of interest everywhere on the island was also a breeze. The only noise that irritated us came not from the A/C (thank goodness for it) or nearby traffic but from the crowing roosters--but you can't escape that anywhere in Kauai! This was a very calm, reliable, and uncomplicated place to stay as a family of four.

The appartment is really big and well equipped. It includes a completely functional kitchen, a very spacious bedroom with two queen size beds, a living room and a bath room with shower. It is light-flooded and cosy. It is embedded in a condo and therefore also comes with a fresh water pool that you can use. As all the condos they are also very strict on their house rules, not making any noise or leaving anything visible on the balcony. The positioning is not ideal, as right next to the condos there is an area where they dumped a lot of trash and where homeless are living - however the view goes out to the other side and we were never bothered by anyone. There is a small shopping area close by that also includes bars and restaurants - however we never frequented these locations as we always cooked ourselves. The location can absolutely be recommended and we would book it again!

If we could do it over we would stay here again. The property is centrally located and makes it so easy to go either north or south. The grocery store is about 2 minutes away which makes it easy to stock up on groceries for your stay. If you want to go to the pool it is very close along with the spa. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with the necessary items to enjoy your stay. Communication with the owners was always received in a quick and timely manner. The staff at the property were very nice which also added to it.

Everything was clean and inviting and we really enjoyed our stay. It was delightful to have a pool & jacuzzi right there, as well as a BBQ (although we didn’t end up using it).
It was a surprisingly quiet place, even though there were plenty of other people around. The only real noise we heard inside were the AC units and every once in awhile some traffic noise.
The bedroom AC is a quieter unit (nice!) and kept us very comfortable each night. The living room AC seems dated and struggles to keep up with the summer temperatures but it’s still much cooler than outside! 😊
The kitchen provides basic amenities plus and it was great to have the ability to do a lot of our own cooking to save money.
We would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was the right amount of space for both of us. We also enjoyed the pull-out bed in the living room as a way to relax and watch t.v! The place was also stocked with beach gear (ex. snorkeling gear, cooler, umbrella).
Everything was generally clean, the only suggestion I have for the place is if the floors could be mopped or swiffered as it felt noticeably sandy and sticky when walking around barefooted. Other than that, I would stay here again for the central location.

The apartment was wonderful, everything we were looking for. The kitchen was decent sized and well equipped. We were able to cook every evening and have breakfast there. Having the ice chest, umbrella and chairs was AWESOME and made hanging out at the beaches super easy! No issues during check in or check out and there was no need to contact host. The place was clean and roomy for the two of us and having two separate beds was ideal. The little balcony was nice to hang out on as well. The only negative was the beach that was in walking distance was not a beach you would want to hang out at. It seemed as though it was basically a place where homeless people lived and it was definitely not somewhere we went or would hang out. But....there is so much beauty everywhere else on this island that it really didn't matter. We loved our stay. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay. The place is clean, beds are comfortable, it has a lot of material such as coolers, ice packs, beach chairs, snorkeling gears and a boogie board.
A pool and a spa were broken. You can use other pools and spas, but they were crowded (probably because of the other broken pool).
Unfortunately, there was a baseball team at the same time. They were not very kind with us. They were taking a lot of space in the pool (not really relaxing). Also, they were cooking on the barbecue from 4pm to 8pm for the whole week. We asked to share the barbecue but we felt that they didn't want to make some space for us.
We probably did not have luck with the baseball team and the broken pool. It might have been different on other dates.

My keys to the room weren’t working when I checked in. I came back after hours to get keys but was told that the only way to get in was to have security let me in every time I left and came back that would be the only way to access the room. I didn’t end up staying the first night because I still had things to do for a function I was a part of and wanted the keys so I could come and go as needed for my staycation. I ended up getting the keys the next day. I think the keys should have been left with the security so I could have access to the property on my own.

When we arrived, there were drinks and chips there to welcome us and kcups available for coffee. The kitchen is well stocked too including coolers and ice packs. Beach chairs, umbrellas, a boogie board, and snorkling gear were available too. It was a very enjoyable stay and quiet.
The only thing I would point out is that the listing said there was coin operated laundry available. It is not coin, but a free app that runs the machines. You load money onto your account. It is $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry and the app has a timer that shows you the progress of the wash. My only complaint is that the app requires a minimum of $10 to be loaded. We only needed to do one load. After buying detergent, our load cost $17.50.

My 3 friends and I stayed here for 3 days and it was perfect for us. When we checked in at 4 the property had not been cleaned at all which was unfortunate because we had a long travel day but when we called the property manager she was very apologetic and made sure the problem was resolved quickly and she made sure we got some sort of compensation for the issue. The property was very clean and comfortable for my group and it was central to many spots. We drove everywhere but it was an easy drive to the north shore and south shore. It was a very short distance to downtown Kapa’a which was great for shopping and food. Highly recommend staying here!

As a family this was a perfect space for. The condo had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the location. One thing worth mentioning is that this is a pool view / mountain view wich we really enjoyed. Can you you find small things to nit pick, probably but keep in mind anyone can do this with you house or the hyatt aswell. For the price, location and comfort the place offered we were happy. We would return no questions asked.

The room was very nice. I truly appreciate that it smelled clean when we walked in. Everything was pretty much spotless. The area was quiet and mostly convenient for us bc we had a rental car and had plenty of things planned throughout the island. There were pools and hot tubs on the property, we did not use them. There is a Long’s right behind the property and country market in walking distance. There are also several restaurants in walking distance. A non-swimable beach is also walking distance. Some homeless were around the beach, but they didn’t bother anyone and this is common throughout all of the islands of Hawaii. We had an issue with the front desk upon check-in and I messaged and called the number on the listing and there was a very prompt response and we figured everything out quickly. This was not the mistake of the owner, just the mistake of the front desk staff/property manager.

The property location was great! Not much of a view, but we didn't stay in the unit for a view. We were disappointed that we were unable to use the stairs closest to the unit as they were under repair for the full time of our stay. The large element on the stove was hard to regulate the heat...once on high, always on high...had to turn off and start with low to get a med. heat.

Our unit was great! It was clean, updated and very well organized! Plantation Hale as a whole is a bit run down and in need of maintenance. Our staircase was inoperable while we were there and very inconvenient.

You could pretty much stay anywhere in Kauai, so it was not hard to pick, but I really lucked out choosing to stay here. Jennie is the best host, most accommodating and replied to every question I had within minutes. That was impressive. The place is so much bigger than I expected too. Sometimes places can look big then you get there and it’s small or just not quite what you expected from pictures. Not the case with this one. the balcony is the length of the unit. We did yoga every morning as she provides a yoga mat and lounging chairs to sit and enjoy the outside. We watched the pink sunrise from our balcony. So pretty! Kapaa is a wonderful little town to stay in. Definitely be back to stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo was very clean, it had everything you needed, beautiful views of the mountains, you could see the beach across the street from her balcony. There was also a wonderful market & restaurants within walking distance that we loved!!! A little Italian restaurant there that you should try. Great Hawaiian shaved ice there as well. And in the grocery store at the Market Place they have a deli that makes the best breakfast, lunches & dinner. Also a wonderful coffee shop across from the deli. We got our coffee & breakfast there daily. So much better than Starbucks. We will be staying at this condo again whenever we go back to Kauai.

The condo was very well outfitted including the kitchen. It was located in a complex but noise was not a problem.. Wailua is a nice location between the north and south shore attractions. Our dealings with the owner were brief but pleasant. She had worked hard to make the condo as attractive and pleasant as possible.. The rental worked out to be about $250/night but this is Hawaii and we could have paid a lot more for a place that was not as nice as this.I would stay here again.
