Overpriced. Needs new furniture. Excellent location

Excellent location. Well stocked kitchen with utensils and plates etc. Big TV

Very overpriced based on the below. Charging such a high price and we still had to travel up with bedding/towels etc. Make a Mum’s holiday a holiday please …. Looks like a lot of the living or dining room furniture was 2nd hand. Plastic trestle table in the balcony, sofas with holes on them, all old and out of fashion. Dining table was old styled too. Should have posted pictures of bathrooms- it was misleading. There is a 1990s style full bathroom with toilet, then 1 separate toilet (no sink) downstairs. Family bedtime was fun getting in n out! Also main bedroom photos should also have been posted. No privacy at all in this room as it has a half wall that opens in to the main upstairs lounge. Kitchen was pokey and old. No dishwasher. Tap leaking was a problem. Felt like the cleaner - multiple signs in the property stating charges will be made if certain items weren’t perfectly clean. Made leaving day a stress. Picking up the keys and dropping off keys in Nelson Bay was a complete hassle. It added 45mins journey on to the stay and exit and both in the opposite direction. The amount of reminders for duplicate documentation and key drop off by the agents were also unexpected when they had all documentation and it was noted we would drop keys off after leaving at 10am not arrive in Nelson Bay by 10am.

Absolutely top location and facilities.

Location near beach, kitchen appliances/ utensils etc and dog friendly back yard were perfect. Loved playing table tennis in garage with the kids.

The stove was very old but functional. It could have been cleaner. There was no dishwasher in the unit which we hadn't realised, so we washed all our dishes and cutlery prior to using as they were not really clean. Privacy is challenging with the blinds in the master bedroom not covering the window adequately. But it's a nice place to stay and well stocked for most things that you need. If you had a lot of people there you may struggle with plates and cutlery. We had a really lovely holiday and will return when we can. The beach is fantastic. If keys could be provided in a keysafe it would be simpler on arrival and leaving, but it is not too far to NB and there are many shops there for supplies and meals.

Disappointing from the little penny pinching aspects but a nice place.

The property was pleasant and nicely furnished but by the standards that we have been used to in self catering properties both in Australia and overseas we can only say that the owners were miserly. We were told to bring our own bin liners, our own sheets & towels etc. . There was no complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner and really it was presented just as a bare property. It isn't that these things are necessary but having just stayed at another self catering property where a complimentary "basket of goodies" was supplied along with basics like sheets, towels etc. we could not help but make the comparison. A shame because it had good potential. The collection and return of the keys was a nightmare as only able to get them from the agents It was only 10 kms away but without a relation in the area we would have been in trouble as we were coming from a distance and leaving in the opposite direction. A locked box should be at the site. We would have liked to put our car in the garage but that was set up with a table tennis table. The stairs were steep and narrow and the property is on four levels so unsuitable for anyone not very mobile.

We will go back again in future.

Great location, only 1 minute walking distance to the beach. The house is clean and tidy. Although need to drive to Nelson bay to pick up keys, the agent - O’Meara property provided very professional services. It has after hour key pick up and return facilities and very easy to communicate with. Sami Dickson responded all my queries promptly.

Spacious property in fantastic location

Well located just a few minutes walk to Birubi Beach. Dog friendly. Spacious property. Very clean.

Oven and rangehood are old and could do with replacing. Good kitchen otherwise.

Very good

Being walking distance to the beach was brilliant. Property was exactly as described.

Would have been better to have a key safe, it was ridiculous driving an extra 10km to collect and drop off a key especially when leaving as you drive in the wrong direction!

Relaxing beach trip

The location was great, and the property being dog friendly helped for our family trip. It had everything we needed, and extra.

Only negative was a little dirty in places, the living room fan has a large build up of visible dust
