Located only about a mile from the airport and the Alaska Marine highway ferry terminal, making getting here really easy once you arrive. This is your ideal home-base for all your vacation adventures, located near marinas as well for fishing opportunities. The second bathroom really helps at the end of a long fishing trip to get your group cleaned up before hitting the town and grabbing a bite to eat. With 2 bedrooms each with a full size and a twin bed. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is spacious and complete with cookware and dishes, if you wanted to do some of your own cooking. The front deck is covered to keep you dry in case of our famous liquid sunshine, with a private bbq for cooking up the days catch. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit available for your use.

My family came down to fish and visit some family in the area. This was the perfect, clean and adorable place to stay. The home seemed to have about everything we needed for cooking/washing/relaxing. The bedding was lovely and the art was beautiful!! We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect place for our family. They had a crib and a baby seat and the bed arrangements worked great. Two bathrooms, very clean and close to everything. The grill worked great! We are from ketchikan and we’re home for a funeral. It was a great setup and would definitely stay here again. Also loved the entryway to take shoes and coats off with a couple of seats. Very nice.

We were even more pleasantly surprised than the pics - this place is NICE. Very well kept, extremely clean, has everything you could need. Plus, a fantastic washer and dryer which is helpful if you end up getting soaked in the Ketchikan rain. We had a rental car (which was necessary), and it was less than a mile to just about everywhere we needed/wanted to go. The hosts were very communicative, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This place was very comfortable and an easy walk to town. It was perfectly between town and the grocery store. It had all the amenities needed for the kids, myself and grand parents. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend others.

our one and only complaint is that, because we are unfamiliar with Ketchikan, we did not know that there is a 1st ave and a 1st street. we arrived after dark and were looking for the address on 1st street. It took us a long time and asking people questions before we found the place.

The location is great! We walked or took the bus everywhere. The bus stop is conveniently a few steps down the hill. Take the nearby Rainbird trail, a lot of steps, but worth it! The kitchen is nice and big. Check what is stocked in the kitchen before hitting Safeway, which is a short walk away. This home is just as advertised,

No complaints about property. Everything was in good condition and easy to communicate. My only complaint is that even though you could technically have 6 adults, 4 is a realistic max. Fortunately not all of our group came and we only had 4 show up.

While in Ketchikan this was a lovely place to stay. Easy walk to the bus and the supermarket. The walk into town was about one mile and was safe and easy. Plenty of things to see along the way. The owner was very responsive. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen was really well stocked with pots, pans etc and all in good condition. Appreciate the bottled water and coffee! Bathrooms very clean. All in good condition. Only one thing i would suggest: use fitted sheets on the beds or secure with straps. The bottom sheets bunch up and tangle - it is really uncomfortable. Thank you

We greatly appreciate the communication with the hosts. The unit was very clean and comfortable for our party of 2 couples, yet set up for a family. Would have preferred chairs for the deck area. Unit is walking distance to the supermarket but a good hike to downtown Ketchikan. Best to have a car or use the city bus.

The property is modern and well-maintained. It's was fairly priced and perfect for our group of 4 fishermen. There was a good stock of "staples", like condiments. We had several pre-visit communications with the owners and each question or concern was quickly addressed. All VRBO owners should be clones of Rebecca and Oscar! Highly recommended!
