Situated in Inverness, this lovely bed and breakfast for $181 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Across from the Whitlacoochee State Forrest. Enjoy this farm setting while still being within the Inverness City limits. Guesthouse has been totally remodeled. It has a front screened in lanai where you can sit and have your morning coffee or tea. We have room for you to bring a small boat on trailer to explore any of our lakes and rivers in the area Kayaks and canoes are also welcomed and don’t forget your bicycles to ride our Withlacoochee trails with 47 miles of riding trails. Hiking trails are across the street and up the road a bit. Golf course is close by at Lakeside.

Everything was really nice. The owners were very kind. The guesthouse was comfortable and very accommodating. It was very well stocked! The dogs were sweet and I wish we could have talked to the horses more, but we were only there briefly. Anytime I need to return to this area, this will be my first choice.

We enjoyed our stay here. Karen has thought of lots of little extras. The dogs and horses were fun. It's close proximity to get on the bike trail or go over to 3 sisters to see the manatees. It was great to come here @ the end of the day and be away from the town traffic and noise. Thanks!

The cottage was the perfect place to relax. Conveniently located. It was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities you could possibly need and exceptionally clean. It sits on a well manicured farm with 2 beautiful horses and 3 sweet loving dogs. Our hosts, Karen and Vinny, were so accommodating. Will definitely book again! Highly recommend!

This property is everything promised and more. It’s a lovely little guest house with everything needed and beyond. The setting is so peaceful. The location is perfect for those needing to be in Inverness. The owners were a delight to work with. If I could, I would give this VRBO a higher rating than the perfect rating that I just gave it. With family in Inverness, we will be returning without a doubt!

Do not hesitate to stay here. Peace and tranquility in the country yet just a few miles from the main road. Convenient to everywhere. House beautifully decorated, you will feel right at home. Owners wonderful.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this VRBO again! Karen & Vinny provide everything you could possibly need while away from home. In addition to the cleanliness, there were so many extras it's impossible to list them all. Stocked kitchen with lots of food/spices, wine, beer, batteries, toilet paper, paper towels, etc., etc. Comfortable, quiet and close town for shopping and biking on the Withlacoochee Bike Trail. Conveniently located to other towns like Ocala and Crystal River and last, but not least, superb hosts! Thank you!

Everything about this property deserves a “5” star rating. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful - the house was very clean and tasteful decor, and the dogs and horses were a delight!! Our only regret is that we wished we could have stayed way longer!! PS) thanks Vinnie for suggesting Angelo’s - our dinner was delicious!!

I don't think we have enjoyed a place more. Such a peaceful and lovely place. Think we truly relaxed. Loved the animals and horses which made it complete. We will definitely plan to return. Owners are so very nice and respond quickly. Everything in kitchen to cook complete meals. Perfect in all ways!

What a wonderful place! The rental unit was beautiful and stocked with everything you need. The owners even stocked the fridge with some “extra” supplies! The owners were very welcoming, friendly and gracious. The best part was that we made friends that we plan to keep in touch with. Beautiful Private Setting … Loved being in the country but still close to everything. Home was very clean and well equipped .. had everything we needed. Our grandson loved feeding the family dogs .. Rex - Honey- Casper their treats and the horses carrots. Vinny and Karen were great .. they were quick to respond if we needed anything but respected our privacy. Loved everything about our stay and will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. Thanks Karen and Vinny for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We were thrilled with our stay. The guest house was super clean, and the hosts were thoughtful about the things we might need, like beach towels. The two horses were so sweet and we feed them carrots every day. The three dogs were super friendly. I sat on the screened in porch at night and watched fireflies, and during the day enjoyed the butterflies. This is an excellent value, as I could imagine spending much more for a place this clean and comfortable and homey. You’re five minutes from restaurants. Loved it and would stay again!

Exceptionally clean and well-stocked, this guesthouse is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Just look outside your living room window to see a horse grazing on grass or one of their dogs running around and enjoying the wide-open fields. You have your own path to the guesthouse and a carport to park under. Why would you even consider a hotel?? Karen and Vinny were the perfect hosts. Highly recommend this place!!

This was a perfect location for my Husband and I for a few days of riding bicycle on the Withlachooche trail. Both the owners and their dogs were very friendly and easy to talk to. Everything was clean and well stocked. It was a quiet place to relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing Property

This was our first experience with VRBO, but my husband and I can’t imagine a better property. The house was immaculate, and fully stocked, as others have mentioned. The furniture was all very comfortable, which was important to us since we stayed for a month. The location is less than 5 minutes from downtown restaurants and shops. We are avid cyclists so we were drawn to the paved Withlacoochee Trail that runs right thru downtown. The owners were kind enough.to let us lock our bikes in a secure building out of the weather whenever we wanted to, and we had covered parking for our car. We spent a lot of time reading in the beautiful screened in porch, and playing with the dogs who greeted us every morning. The only less than perfect issue for us was that the wifi was weak. But we were able to connect to wifi just about everywhere in town, so it wasn’t much of a problem. We will definitely be looking for a chance to stay at Karen & Vinnie’s guest house again. They were extremely gracious and accomodating.
