Situated in Lake Gaston, this attractive house for $641 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Happy Hour Hideaway has all of the upscale features of any Luxury Lake Home. Great 4600+ square feet of open floor plan suited for multi-family vacation. Total of 5 spacious bedrooms with large closets, 4 baths, and fully equipped custom gourmet kitchens w/granite counters. Home includes multiple entertainment and living areas with high end features: coffered ceiling, hardwood & tile floors and high ceilings throughout. Lower level features 2nd kitchen, bar and another family room for ultimate entertainment. Great bunkroom for the kids with attached bonus room for TV, PS3, and lots of games. Separate game room in lower level includes pool table, ping pong table and dart board area. 7-person hot tub is located on the lower level deck with another covered outdoor seating area. Gently sloping Cove-to-main Lake lot w/ beautiful main lake views from the double sundeck boathouse and good water depth. Sundeck has plenty of room to spread out with lots of seating, tables, lounge chairs and a large umbrella if you need some shade. We also added a covered seating area on the lower level of the boat house. Safe, quiet swimming cove only 4 lots from main lake! For you to enjoy on the water: 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, large floating mat, assorted floats and blow up water toys. We also have life jackets available for use (various sizes). 2 hammocks are provided down by the lake for your afternoon siesta and there is a new large fire pit for your after dinner stories and s’mores. Enjoy some friendly competition at the cornhole pits (boards are included) or newly added basketball goal in the cul-de-sac. Spread out and enjoy all the comforts of home on your relaxing, fun Lake Gaston vacation.

Our large multigenerational family stayed here over the New Year and enjoyed every second of our time. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and Brian and Ann were very welcoming and helpful.
The house was stocked very well, there were enough plates/cups/silverware for everyone and every appliance and utensil you may need. The multi-level home was perfect for the whole family whether you needed some peace and quiet away from the crowd or wanted to gather together. There were plenty of things for everyone of all ages to do!
The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Well before our arrival they helped us by answering any and all questions we had about the area and anything we may have wanted to see or do. They were available at all times and replied quickly to texts and messages!

This most beautiful home was better than the pictures and the perfect spot for our multi-family Thanksgiving! The hosts were so pleasant and informative in their communications. They thought of everything we could possible need for an amazing stay! The amenities were great for our group. There was something for everyone, from the kayaks to the hot tub and the firepit to the 2 kitchens, etc! We give this property and the hosts 10 stars!

Beautiful home and well-stocked. We had eight in our group and had plenty to do with all the board games and ping-pong and kayaks. We had nightly fires at the beautiful fire pit. The layout of the house was perfect for us--areas for quiet reading while another group is watching a movie, privacy of the bedrooms, etc. The hot tub was a great finish to the day. The hosts were responsive and flexible with our check-in and check-out (helps that we stayed in off-peak season!). Highly recommend!

Our 4 day stay was wonderful and accommodated our family of 9 with pets very comfortably. The hosts were also very accommodating with respect to pre stay coordination and staying in touch with us during our stay. The house was very large, very well appointed with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, game room and water related outdoor activities. The hot tub was ready for our use when we arrived. The house was located on a quiet cove with just a short distance up to the main lake. The boat dock was very nice with plenty of seating both topside and on the main dock. Swimming and floating in the cove near the dock was enjoyable, although the access into the cove from the yard itself is not recommended due to the soft bottom/mud at the shoreline. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and both kitchens had plenty of kitchen and cook ware so that you really don't need to bring anything but the food. The nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away so we highly recommend coming prepared with your grocery items prior to arrival. The fire pit area looked brand new and was equipped with lots of seating and firewood. This place and its owners were super and we do plan to make this an annual family gathering in the future.

This house had everything you need for a fantastic weekend. Stayed with 12 guys and we were all comfortable. Plenty of space, plenty of room for activities, great dock and outdoor space. The lake was beautiful and it was a treat to use the kayaks and paddle boards. Would highly recommend this to any group of friends or family gatherings.

We had a wonderful time and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. It was two families of 4 (2 adults & 2 kiddos) and it was plenty of room. The cove was perfect for younger kiddos. It was a great retreat for two fireman and their families.

First, we had great communication with the owners who answered all our questions and let us know about the area. We had family of 13 from all over the East coast and we all fit comfortably. The house is bigger than the pictures look. Many living areas and dining for family to enjoy. The house is stocked well and at the lake house stocked with all the fun things you want to do at the lake. Plenty of seating on the dock, fishing and water sports. The wifi is spotty for the area and the number of people we had. The seating area by the hot tub is great for a rainy day or a nap. Hot tub is clean and ready to go. Overall a wonderful vacation and we’ll come back.

My family of 7 adults spent 3 nights at this lovely lake house for an 80th birthday celebration for my mom. We loved it! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, and had large bedrooms and gathering areas. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards and sitting on the large dock together. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals for everyone. Communication with the owners was easy and I always received a quick response to any question. We would love to stay here again!

This home was phenomenal, beautiful and clean. Perfect home for family gatherings. Multiple spaces for everyone to hangout and watch movies. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or play a round of pool or a intense game of ping pong! The large kitchen was appointed with everything you need to feed the gang for every meal. We enjoyed the views of the lake with our morning coffee. Brian and Anne are very thoughtful hosts, great communicators and they have provided everything for a wonderful stay. The house was even decorated for Christmas!

We had a fabulous long weekend at this secluded, quiet property with family and friends. Brian and Anne were wonderful to work with and were very responsive to multiple questions! The house was well stocked with lots of extras, great layout with the two kitchens, decks and lots of areas to come together or find some privacy. We could have used a few more days to enjoy all that we wanted to! Highly recommend.

Anne, we had a wonderful time at the Hideaway. Overall, it was a great visit! Just a couple of small items I want to bring to your attention. My wife and I are on Boost mobile and discovered we have no cell coverage, hence our lack of communication with you and Tony! The good news is that our son and daughter in law have a different plan and we were able to communicate with Brian through them! So no problem. The TV's were a bit of an issue. Not sure how many channels you get on Dish TV but my tribe said there weren't many channels. Also the internet was slow, so streaming wasn't really an option. I was perfectly happy without TV, but the younger crowd is another story. That said, we loved it. The kids had great success fishing off the dock and kayaks were a big hit. Campfires and marshmallows every night! You have a beautiful place. Tony's boat was a huge help, too! Thanks for your hospitality. We will be back!

This is a gorgeous house to stay at and has all the amenities ! The lake float mat was the best part of our vacay along with the ping pond table and forefoot for s’mores !

This is an exceptional house and wonderful spot for a family get away. Brian was very responsive to texts before and during the visits. The boat house is very well stocked with floatation toys (floats, tubies) etc and the kayaks and paddleboards were very well used by my family. A few cons were (1) the internet is VERY slow and (2) the closest grocery store is 25 minutes away and (3) you have to haul your own trash to the local trash collection site (6 min away). I tell you these just so you know about them prior to renting property. Recommend (1) downloading lots of movies, tv shows on your devices prior to arrival so you can cast/display them on the televisions, (2) stop by the Food Lion in Gaston (north side of lake) to get supplies on the way in and (3) anytime you run to the store or leave the property, haul your trash bags to the Warren Co. Disposal site. Overall, a great stay... only added the cons and recommendations above to help anyone renting the property in the future.

We visited Lake Gaston with our family in early August. The house is beautiful and very well-equipped. We had a couple of small issues with internet and TV, but the owners were incredibly helpful and responsive. Loved this property and highly recommend it!

After years of beach vacations, we wanted to switch things up with a lake getaway this year. We decided the first night that, while the beach is great, we are lake people. The Happy Hour Hideaway was perfect for our family. We immediately fell in love with the secluded location, and the home itself exceeded our expectations. Our kids even commented on and appreciated the cleanliness. Brian and Anne are communicative, thoughtful hosts. We had a great week and look forward to visiting again. One thing to note is that you have to take your trash with you when you go. I don’t think that’s noted in the listing, and I was in full vacation mode and neglected to read the checkout instructions at the house in time to realize the dump is closed on Fridays (and not open until 7:30am Saturdays). Had we done that we’d have made multiple trips throughout the week. Our bad for not reading the checkout instructions sooner, though. With that in mind, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend the HHH.

Annual family summer vacation
This was a wonderful setting for our annual summer vacation with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots of things to do. The well appointed kitchens left us wanting nothing when it came to preparing meals. What a beautiful home and surrounding area to go to for peace, relaxation and time together.

Nice clean property. Well Maintained. Quiet location. Well stocked with entertainment options.....Fishing poles, Kayaks, firepit, hammocks, outdoor seating. pingpong tables. Well maintained outdoor property. Only drawback is VERY slow internet (1 MBS) . Would highly recommend for any visitor...5 Star!

Perfect stay
We booked this house as a large group to celebrate my 40th birthday and everything was perfect. The owners were a pleasure to work with the entire time and even went out of their way to make our stay extra special. The house itself was perfect for our group and had everything we could have needed. The outdoor space is great and we hope to return in warmer months to enjoy all of it!
