Satisfaite de mon sejour

L'appartement est proche du bord du lac, et a environ 15mn a pied du départ des bateaux. L'appartement est fonctionnel et très propre.

Pas facile de trouver de la place sur le parking en face de l'appartement c'est souvent rempli.

We loved being so close to the town center and waterfront! Check in and out was so easy. We also appreciated the amount of extra bedding and blankets.

The water heater was loud but this may just be something we aren’t used to being from the states.

Very good

The apartment is clean, has a balcony with a partial view of the lake. There is a public beach nearby. The price-quality ratio is very good!

We were a little short of a dishwasher. There is also no air conditioning.

Everything was as we expected.

Great location. Decent size. Free parking on the street out the front but didn’t use the car as parking was hard to get. In the car park opposite they have paid and unpaid parking. The white lines around the park spaces mean it’s free. Blue lines means you pay. Comfortable beds.

it would be great if a grandmom host could speak or understand some English. I eventually had to use google translate to help communicate with her.

great location - not a good or bad thing but the lady didnt speak any english was very hard to communicate - as below we made no contact lovely restraunt nearby with lake view - del tato

photos in ad taken from third floor not 1st shower didnt work the first couple of days - loss of pressure which also affected the sink but suddenly started working after a few days

Dissappointed. Will not trust Booking.com/AirBNB again.

Location was good.

No Satellite tv, which was advertised as available, but not. Fridge not working correctly...had to use freezer for drinks! Duvet on bed too small for bed........looks like single duvet, placed on large double bed. CO Alarm not working and well past replacement date. terrace to rear not useable as view extremely unpleasant.....overgrown darden next door, garage doors. Mountain view not as advertised...picture in advertisement taken from 3rd floor; and not the ground floor appartment.

Sweet apartment in Menaggio

Nice having a working kitchen, and a clothes washer. Good location- near swimming, groceries, central piazza.

Wish there were clothes pins for the clothes line, or an inside drying rack. Coffee maker didn't work properly.

Exceptional

Well located, Very clean and well equiped. It had everything we needed. Close to the shops and a centre. It has a small garden to spend nice time .

Good location, large space, friendly host

I wish the apartment was better stocked. Like providing hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen. Maybe a sponge for dishes? Also was pretty hot at night and the fan wasn’t enough

Very clean apartment at a perfect location

location was perfect and the apartment is very clean! free parking on the other side of the road.

don’t expect a modern apartment, it’s like a sleepover at your grandparents ;) Charming.

Cute Little apartment just tucked away from the main town

The apartment was well located and comfortable. Wifi and TV worked well. Parking was easy and located very close - Just need to be sure about the paid vs free parking. Town was 5 min walk and Ferry Terminal is 10 mins

Nothing. Be aware, the host is a lovely lady, but her English was as good as my Italian...... She is very kind and funny and made our check-in expereience enjoyable.

A simple, but quiet and comfortable place with a great location

A great location - just a short walk to the centre of town, plus there's a good-sized supermarket (Conad) only 5 mins away. The place is VERY quiet, which is not something guaranteed in Italy. However: I went in early March - VERY off season. The apartment is simple, but comfortable enough. The kitchenette is enough for simple meals, but beware: there's no oven.

The free parking is on the road just outside the apartment - I imagine this could get pretty crowded during the season. There's also a pay parking area more-or-less directly opposite. Not sure of the cost.

Rainy but beautiful Menaggio

I like the location and it’s nice & cozy inside.

The host was very nice even though we were speaking in different languages. That’s where the ‘glitch’ happened… the required communication when we got there. Had to try different modes of communication because no one was at the unit to meet us at first.

Perfect beautiful apartment in the center, but quite street of Menaggio.

The location was very central, but also in a very quiet street, close to the main grocery shop and small boutiques for food: it was important because we cooked at home. The host gave recommendations where to buy food, how to get boats around the lake. She was very sweet charming lady. The apartment was more modern then it looks in the pictures, big bathroom and many extra blankets and pillows to pick the most comfortable one. Small, but fully equipped kitchen. And beautiful view over the lake!

Perfect holiday

Perfect location - close to both the beach and restaurants; very clean and well equipped (washing machine, hairdryer, kitchen well equipped as well). Furniture is dated but it didn’t matter to us as all was clean. Never had troubles to find parking spot between white lines (which is free) - maybe sometimes we had to wait a few minutes but people come and leave regularly so no problem. Many reviews mention lack of air conditioning as a problem but we were ok even when it was more than 30 degrees Celsius during the day - you just open windows and balcony for the night so that air can circulate and it is fine to sleep. Balcony is on the good side of the building so you can sit there in the shadow in the afternoon. We spoke only basic French (as English doesn’t help) but it was enough to understand the owner at the arrival for handover of the apartment (big thanks also for letting us to take our road bike to the apartment as we were afraid to leave it in the car/street).

Good value self catering accommodation near the centre of Menaggio

The apartment was reasonably well located near the centre of Menaggio and we had a comfortable stay there where we were able to self cater when we chose not to eat out.

It would have been nice to have a little more outside space to relax- there was only a small balcony .
