Very good

The property is really nice, but it is a bit far away from the beaches. The room was very comfortable and clean, but the garden and swimming pool could have been better maintained.

Despite our troubles getting in to the property, we had a great family time together.

The two villas were perfect for our large group. The private pools at each were a big hit. The location was convenient and we felt safe and secure. We had also reserved a double room but it was not available upon arrival due to a broken pipe. We were told that it would be a couple of days before it would be repaired. It turned out that we were able to accommodate everyone in the two villas. The hosts were very accommodating on allowing us to cancel that reservation.

Although we had advised that we would arrive at 4 pm to check in, and called about an hour out to verify, the hosts were unprepared for our arrival, which was actually about 4:30 pm. They were still in the process of cleaning the villas and restocking towels. When we questioned the lack of readiness, we were told that check in was from 4-8 pm, implying that they had up to 8 pm to get ready for us. There were twenty-three of us, including eleven children, so the pressure to get in and get settled was high. The result was that the villas were only swept and the grounds were not cleaned up from the previous guests. We found items of clothing, trash, cigarette butts, and broken glass outside. The marble floors of the villas were not mopped and blackened everyone's feet. We ended up mopping the floors ourselves. In addition, in one villa, the locks for the bedroom doors had not been reset and several of our party ended up locked in the rooms. That led to a period of panic and frustration. Ultimately, the manager showed up and fixed the locks, did a walk through with us, and apologized for their lack of readiness. We got settled about 7:30 pm. Finally, and this may have been our lack of understanding, there were no cleaning supplies, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish towels, etc. We had to go to the supermercardo to make those purchases.

Lovely!

The property is essentially a room in a villa which you go into via a key card. It’s very private and the whole time we were there we felt like the villa was our own as nobody was at the pool n it was very private. Jose was very responsive but left us to privately enjoy our stay! Beds were comfy, TV had Netflix, the balcony is huge with amazing views.

One day I did get locked out and not having someone at the property all the time or a telecom to call them can mean you can be locked out (don’t lose your key!) I would say it’s more suited to couples or even a family rather than a younger group. The property is amazing tho!

Basically Everything we wanted and needed for our holiday.

When we arrived the villa was better than expected with almost every room having a bathroom and most with a good terrace too. All rooms were very clean when we arrived and the whole house having good air conditioning was great. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to make the meals we desired. We had no issues with the pool as it was very clean on arrival and remained so the whole trip. On top of the great villa the host was extremely kind and helpful with anything that we needed. He was especially helpful coordinating our arrival time and when we would get to the villa. We did arrive a bit early and he was kind enough to give us a very nice area to stay while waiting. Overall the stay was great and all 11 of us on the trip said we would definitely stay there again.

Great spacious place to stay with friends or family

There were more bathrooms than we expected. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. The pool area was decent with enough sun beds and trees to provide shade. The area is very nice, safe and quiet.

It would have been nice if a few more basic supplies were included (like dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and soap). There were a few ants in the house…but I guess that’s normal in this climate.

Fantastic - we will be back!

We stayed in one of the rooms in the villa for a long weekend in June 2023. The villa was great, our room was very modern and clean and we had our own private balcony. The pool is really nice, we lay on the sun loungers for a few hours a day, the area is so quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly helpful, they let us check in a couple of hours early too. We got taxis into Marbella old town and Puerto Banus no more than €10 for either. We will definitely be back, we loved our stay at this villa. Thanks very much!

Just about OK. Not impressed with maintenance. Over priced

Villa manager was nice and attentive and did his best to resolve arising issues

Villa Las Lomas consists of four villas in a privately gated complex. When booking via Booking.com, you do not know what villa you will be allocated. The photos shown on the website are of all four villas mixed up and you do not know which villa is which. We got Villa No.2. We had issues with the AC in two of the rooms. We had to sleep two nights in 32 degrees!! (It got fixed two days later). On the first day we arrived we did a big shopping, only to find out the following day that the fridge was not working and had to throw the best part of the shopping! (The fridge was replaced the following day). Also, there is only one normal sized fridge for such big house! Our 5 year old son got locked in one of the rooms on the first day. The lock was apparently broken!! (maintenance staff arrived within 30 mins to get him out). The pool, which was not ready to use on the first day! is in the shade for the best part of the day. Also hardly anywhere to place the sun beds in the sun around the pool. This villa had no grass around the pool! There was a very dangerously broken tile around the pool! Many bulbs around the villa needed replacing. The villa had NO alarm! In summary - for such an expensive villa, it should be better maintained.

Location well out of area with no facilities of walking to a bar or restaurant.

no breakfast and location was in the hills, need a car or taxis to stay here, nothing around for a drink or food.

outside to the room you couldn't see the view as it was in an enclosed area so when you sat down all you saw was trees and the wall. You could hear everything next door.

Unflexible check in

My plain was arrived at 10pm, they wanted to charge me 50 eur for late check in. I know they wrote in their policy, but they could make exception in a case what we cant change. The bathroom stinks.
