Great place to stay. Would go back again and would recommend.

Nice location, not too far from the beach, could walk to dog beach (Coila Beach), and close to the cafe and restaurant on the lake. Quiet, could only hear birds really. Really liked the "beach shack" atmosphere of the unit and the outdoor area, with ferns and honeysuckle etc. Great to be able to have pets there. Awning at front very handy with the rain.

One of the single beds was very uncomfortable - could feel the springs in the mattress. Need power point in bathroom.

Очень приятное общение с хозяином. Все вопросы решались быстро. Полный комплект всех необходимых хозяйственных предметов (ах, кончился сахар)), Тихое, красивое место. Уютно, чисто. Есть где бросить авто.

Гостевой дом принимает постояльцев с животными. У нас соседи были с собаками. Нам это не помешало, мы их не слышали (почти) и не видели. Но если вы боитесь собак, то обратите внимание.

It was a nice quiet stay in a clean, old fashioned flat

The location was good & reasonably quiet. The flat was clean with amenities just right for 2 people.

Most of the power points were high up on the walls, a bit difficult for charging phones & there were no power points in the bathroom at all, which made it hard to use a hair dryer or shaver. Also no wi fi.

Peaceful old school place.

It was peaceful besides the dog barking next door.

There was only 1 steak knife in the whole kitchen to cut anything with. I had to wash the frying pan as the last guests left it dirty. There wasn’t a hand towel in the bathroom. The place is pet friendly though it’s not fenced. There’s a crazy dog next door that just barked every time you went outside.

Comfy, pet friendly stay

Everything we needed & great to be able to have our fur kids inside with us & also be able to use the washing machine

It would have been useful to have wifi, a shower caddy and to have a stronger, well-secured screen door that the dogs couldn't push open

A lovely little cottage stay setting.

Its a great little cottage setting.

Its a noisy building because you can here everyone in the adjoining common-wall dwellings.

A comfortable place to stay with lots of amenities.

We liked the feeling of staying in an old beach house. The kitchen had everything that we needed.

There was no soap in the bathroom. There was no powerpoint to plug in a hair dryer or electric razor.

Lovely older style apartment - spacious and clean in a good location.

Lovely older style flat, comfortable and clean. Well appointed and nice atmosphere. Michaela was great to deal with.

Outdoor dining and seating areas need a bit of attention (bbqs needed cleaning, furniture needs replacing)

Exceptional

When we arrived, we went out for fish and chips at the Pickled Octopus We both thought the fish batter was way too oily and the fish seemed ok….until my partner came down with food poisoning soon after Early in the morning, while she was still sick, I called the management/owner (?) of our unit and asked her if we could have a late checkout as my partner was still sick This was absolutely no problem and she even offered to us to stay for the afternoon, with no extra charges This is exceptional management and it really was such a great relief for us! I cannot rate this place any higher….wish I could give it 6 stars out of 5!

Pleasant

Great location, nice small outdoor sitting space.

No WiFi which was disappointing, considering the price. Also it is a flat for 4 people but a small table with only 2 chairs. Guess you are not expected to eat there or eat in shifts. Beds were bad. Both the double bed as well as the single beds were poor comfort. All slept poorly.

Perfect little "cottage" for our family.

Very quaint little house in a beautiful region of New South Wales. The house was perfect for a short stay for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The children simplay loved all the games and books that the host had provided in the home. The beds were very comfortable and the check-in and out process were seamless.

Always love staying at Ella May Flats and would recommend.

Location is good. The property back on to Chatham Reserve which presents a really nice outlook. The flats built back in 50s or 60s have been beautifully decked out.

The gardens were a bit over run and the outside entrance to the flat could have been a lot cleaner and presented better. I see question 4 refers to visit to South Tuross Beach. South Beach is on the other side of the entrance to Tuross River. Access is by boat or 30klm drive via Bodalla.

Quite a cute property but needs a few improvements

Good location

Had to contact the owner to get access instructions, didn’t receive usual access email Front door key wouldn’t go in lock and was hard to open Had to make the bed A/C wouldn’t work Towels were hard and scratchy Only one teabag!

Comfy Accommodation Stay

Beds and couches were very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay. It was in such a beautiful location! Loved that it was Pet Friendly. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The Tuross Boatshed Cafe had absolutely amazing coffee! They were just a 10min walk away

The bathroom fan was kinda broken and no bench space to put toiletries. The lamp in the lounge room didn’t work.

Good but shortcomings.

Location was good,parking easy and the neighbourhood is quiet. Access to beautiful beaches is easy and the local shops are not far away. Apartment is cosy and clean.

There needs to be a maintenance check on the electrics in the apartment as the air conditioner/tv/exhaust fan items are not working properly. No wifi apparent either. These factors pull down the overall experience at Ella May.

We Would stay here again

A very cute flat that was homely and a great little space for my baby and my husband to spend the night.

We couldn’t get the tv to work and the remote batteries had acid leaks.
