Bedrooms a good size, decent location, free parking nearby.
It wasn't very clean, found cigarettes and other things in the bedrooms.
The parking permit left was months out of date so I got a parking fine.
I've been waiting 2 weeks for them to send me back my damage deposit and the money for the parking fine, despite constant emailing/messaging/calling. They have finally paid me however but I contacted booking.com to help me get it back.
One of the group also got what looked like bedbugs from one of the bedrooms.
All in all wouldn't recommend.

The house was spacious with work would of been lovely but house is very tired.
poor communication leading up to my stay, arrived at the property went to the lock box in front garden it was a mess not even been swept, windows covered in cob webs. entered the property after long journey ran to use bathroom to find toilet was dirty skid marks all over not even toilet brush to clean with. Bath had marks over and shower had hairs in drain blocking it. Bedding was old and bobbly my daughter woke up with spots across her face. wardrobes broken dust every where. Back garden fence was crumbling . House décor was old and tired walls dented and scratched no love and care its sad.

Clean and fresh smelling on our arrival.
Good location.
Well equipped kitchen.
Great communication with owners, prompt replies to emails sent.
A 2nd toilet would be an asset to this property.

A nice, comfortable and clean house in a good location. Small parade of shops opposite, bus stops outside house, and 10 minutes walk into the city centre.
Would have been good to have a 2nd toilet in a house with 3 double bedrooms and 1 single. As a 'luxury', it would have been nice to have a small TV in each bedroom.

Lots of space, comfy beds and really clean!
nothing!

Spacious, comfortable.
Kitchen facilities were not really adequate for a family of 5 (e g. 2 teaspoons, 4 dessert spoons). Main oven and one of the hobs did not work properly. Both top and main oven were dirty and there were dirty oven trays left in the main oven. This property could be an excellent place to stay, but some more thorough cleaning in certain areas and general maintenance is needed eg. curtains falling off broken hooks, kitchen cupboard handle comes off, shower head needs de-scaling or replacing.

A very nicely renovated house that has lots of lovely touches. Lots of room and a very nice bathroom and kitchen in particular
just needs a little more love and attention. Get someone to stay there for a couple of days and note down the small things you could do e.g., teapot, larger frying pan, better lighting in some rooms, safety strip in kitchen...all very inexpensive. Also, we did get a very random set of many emails - some even after we left about our stay! So I would check that.

lots of space, comfortable beds and clean
Key safe is behind lots of tree branches to get to it which is tricky in the dark and wet. No bedside lamps in bedrooms, not much in kitchen i.e coffee machine/cafetiere etc. Only one toilet which was clear when booking but tricky with a big group.

Within walking distance of the city centre. House was clean and characterful
External appearance looked unloved. Last years leaves still covering the steps and path and garden needed work. Dangerous hidden step in kitchen which needed highlighting. Only seating for 5 though advertised as sleeping 7.

Traditional 3-storey town house. Shabby chic vibe with rustic charm. The 2 piece sofa in the lounge was very comfy.
The company agreed to our early check-in request of 3pm. However, when we got there around 3.30 the key was not where we were told to find it. For 90 minutes we left voicemails and messages to the tel number we’d been given. No response. If my son hadn’t had the bright idea to Google the company and ring the generic number just before 5pm when presumably they’d be closing on a Saturday, then I don’t think we’d have got in the property that night... I’d already started researching local hotels. Apparently my contact had had to take a relative to the hospital and there was no signal there. So once informed of the new location of the key we were able to access the property. The cleaning was sub-standard. Cobwebs around the downstairs windows. Some splashing of food on the kitchen tiles. Bedding felt thin and cheap. We had issues with the lighting. The standard lamp in the lounge didn’t work, so we decided to leave the lounge door open and use the hallway light for cosy effect, but that wasn’t working either so... big ceiling light then. As we came back to the property at night, in the dark, there was no security light as we approached the porch. Also with a combination of the uneven steps and wet leaves, it was slippy and at this time of year has the potential to cause an accident. None of the bedrooms had a bedside lamp - disappointing as we have readers in the family. Security wise, it was concerning that neither myself or my sons (aged 17 & 19) could make the Chubb lock work to secure the front door from the inside and therefore the house was locked by the Yale lock alone. The back door dead bolt did not travel completely into the recess of the door frame so we didn’t have complete confidence in that door either. There was a lack of privacy in the bathroom as both the window and top half of the door were only mildly frosted with no blind to pull down in front of the glass. The window overlooked next door’s bedroom.

The whole was very clean and tidy. Beds where very comfortable. Sofas in the the lounge were also very comfortable. Thoughtful in leaving good selection of menus if need takeways.
One suggestion provide disabled ramp if possible. It can be very useful.
Thank you Chris for your support.

It was in a convenient location for the City Centre. The beds were comfortable.
'Stylish' is was NOT. The outside was dirty and overgrown. I had to push through branches to get to the key box. The windows were dirty on the outside as was the front door. The exterior wood work is rotting especially at the rear of the house. There were only 5 chairs to sit on around the dining table (there were 6 of us and beds enough for 7) The lounge only had seating for 5. The curtains in the lounge were detached from the curtain rail (I fixed them temporarily). There was barely enough crockery and cutlery for the house to the extent that there was no need for a dish washer because after one meal all the key pieces were needed for the next meal! Overall it was spartan- barely one step up from a student house.

Property was in a good location close to centre. Staff responded quickly when the key snapped in the lock and got a new one to us quickly. Apart from the stained bed sheets mentioned above, the property was fairly clean.
The lounge area is comfortable and nice and most of the beds were fairly comfortable. Overall, cheap and basic accommodation close to the city centre.
Communication with staff was poor- we weren't told about updated Covid policies relating to the deposit resulting in a delay for us getting information about our arrival at the property as staff weren't answering our messages. It also took 5 days for our deposit to be returned despite providing details on the day we left the property.
It was questionable as to whether the bed sheets had been changed since the last guests stayed as they were stained and there were lots of hairs in the bed which made it very unpleasant to sleep in.
Although advertised for 7 people the property isn't set up for 7- only 4/5 seats in the lounge and only 5 chairs in the dining area.
The garden is unkept with lots of weeds- it was actually very difficult to get to the key deposit box because of how overgrown the hedge was.
The property could also do with sprucing up as several things were broken including bent cutlery, curtains hanging off rails, blinds that did not open and wardrobes that looked close to collapse.
Parking was also advertised as free public parking close to the property which is untrue. One permit is provided which is obviously not enough for 7 guests. The closest free public parking we were able to find was a 10 minute walk away which was inconvenient with lots of luggage.

The team were amazing. Kept in touch with us should we require anything, especially Chris who popped over straight away when we had an accident with the key and the lady that called us before we arrived to check in. Such a friendly and professional service. The house was very roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. Amazing location for just walking into the city centre. Thank you so much 😊
Nothing to not like about the place

The location in respect of the city centre and Waterloo Park. A spacious house with very comfortable beds.
The bathroom needed attention to the squeaky floor and we would have liked some bedside lights.
