About this chalet rental
Nestled in Girdwood, this lovely chalet for $1,053 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Jeremy's Mountain Chalet is a perfect gathering place for groups of any size to rest and recover in between Alaskan adventures. Please feel free to check yourself in any time after 4:00pm. I will provide you with a door access code that will expire once your stay is complete at 10am. Follow us on Instagram @jeremysmountainchalet The large gourmet kitchen features an island and bar table with seating for 10. State of the art appliances and cookware are available for your use. Enjoy the spacious living room with a wood burning stove and plenty of cushy seating to soak up gorgeous views of Mount Alyeska! The theater and bedroom in the loft is accessible by ladder and is the perfect spot for watching a movie at the end of long days spent exploring our great state. Comfy bedrooms are around every corner on the second floor with newly purchased mattresses and bedding to ensure a great nights rest. The master bedroom contains a walk-in closet, a spa tub, and a shower with a steam room function for unmatched relaxation and self-care. I am available by cell phone if there is an emergency or you simply can't figure out how something works! Renters that clean the vacation rental live in the mother-in-law unit on the ground floor. Any communication with cleaners can be run through me. The mother-in-law has a separate entrance and no access to the main house. Please allow room for the first floor apartment folks to get out of the driveway. The garage and a pantry on the third floor remain locked for my storage. Girdwood is a fantastic Alaskan experience. Girdwood brewing is a 7 minute walk, (3 if you cut through the meadow!) Alyeska resort of course provides the best of Alaska resort skiing and also backcountry/heli-skiing adventures nearby. Winner creek is a great hiking trail in the summer. If you don't mind some vertical elevation, the North Face Trail is open in the summer and rewards you with great views of the turnagain arm mountains. You can still get to these views by taking the tram to the top! Please be advised that there are multiple flights of stairs in the building that may require additional assistance for guests who may need it.

We traveled with 16 people, four under the age of four and had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room to spread out and so many great places to all spend time together to eat and play games as well! Communication was absolutely perfect!

This house gave us so much room to spread out! Loved the openness and the views. It was also easy to navigate with all the helpful labels. We loved how close it was to Girdwood and the Alyeska Resort/Tram.

Great house for a big group, especially with kids as there is a big bunk room and lots of space to play. It is located in a great part of Girdwood and easy access to everything.
Heated floors are a big plus!
The kitchen has everything you would need and the host was very responsive.
Travelers should know the lower part of the house is a separate unit occupied by caretakers and there are a decent number of stairs. Also there is limited room for gear so if you are coming for skiing/riding gear will live in the hallways (which are big but at the top of a long staircase).

Very nice house
The property was excellent for the eight of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The cookware was fine and the refrigerator was very large. We had three vehicles and parking was no problem. I would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous property, great location
The chalet was exactly what our group needed for a fantastic stay in Alaska. The property was gorgeous, comfortable, well equipped, and in a great location. The views from the balcony were stunning and it was walkable to town. Highly recommend for your stay in the anchorage area.

We stayed for two nights. The house is a large space that would be great for entertaining, large bedrooms/bathrooms, in floor heat and large kitchen with well labeled cabinets/drawers . Check in and check out was easy and communicating with Ryan was prompt.

As others have mentioned there are people who live downstairs, so not totally private, however they were very nice and cooperative with the limited parking. We had 5 vehicles so it was a challenge but doable. Property not quite as equipped and not quite the attention to detail as I had expected for the price, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was a fantastic place for a large group. Plenty of sleeping space that didn’t require people to sleep on living room couches. The kitchen is awesome. Love the steam shower in the master bathroom!

Beautiful house, great neighborhood
The property itself was great, the location was also perfect. Kitchen had everything you needed and was well equipped with essentials such as trashbags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, and spices. Also nice to have a laundry room with soaps was a plus. Beds were really comfy . Few minor issues with no door in master bath/ toilet and no stopper on upstairs barn door bathroom. Also parking can be an issue, owner should have snow removed and taken away as there is really only 2 spots to park as the tenets below take two spots. but luckily we only had 3 cars and just double parked each other. Also beware there are a lot of stairs, and floors are concrete so noises eco. Ryan was a great host and would stay their again! Thanks

The property is great, the only problem was the parking we all had our own cars out of the 10 that stayed in the house we had 6 vehicles and it was hard to park as we couldn’t block the tenants in the apartment below, which was not stated in the listing. Besides that the house is great and was able to fit all 10 perfectly. Views were beautiful everywhere. We had a great stay.

We really enjoyed the stay! Some confusion on Parking on our part and really appreciated the hosts graciousness in figuring it out! The home was perfect for me and my group of friends and would definitely stay there again! Especially on a ski weekend!

Wonderful vacation
We had a wonderful stay in Girdwood. Perfect home base for all our activities. Check in was easy. Beds were comfortable. Easy to cook breakfast for our group before heading out. Wish there was more firewood and a lighter for the wood burning stove. I'm sure we could have reached out to the manager but we were too tired to deal with it. Not a big deal but might be nice for future guests. Door to master WC was missing but again not a big deal. Plenty of bathrooms in the house if privacy is an issue. Overall a wonderful house for our large group. Plenty of room. Kids loved the loft. Would definitely stay again!

This property is just what we imagined. Everything in the home was perfect. Loved how everything was setup. The kids had a blast in the loft. Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. Ryan was always responsive with any questions I had. If I can give more then 5 stars I would. You won’t be disappointed.
