Lounge on your expansive 30-foot oceanfront deck and feel at one with the surf, sea life, and surfers. Beachfront Retreat is a 1st level condo with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Sit in the beautifully furnished living room on the custom-made sofa bed (with queen size bed) or loveseat, and be mesmerized by the waves rolling toward you through a wall of windows. The state-of-the-art kitchen features Frigidaire appliances, granite counters, and a walk-in pantry. The spacious ocean view dining area seats 6, plus 2 bar stools at the kitchen bar. You can access the deck from the ocean view primary bedroom with walk-in closet and walk-in tub/shower in the bath. The secondary bedroom has 2 walk-in closets plus a linen closet, as well as a walk-in shower. This amazing 3-story oceanfront property has a large sandy yard that is shared with the other 2 units. We visit San Diego/Oceanside at least once a year because we have family here. Usually a place is smaller than it looks from the pictures. This time, the place was so much larger than we expected! Location was great, and this is one of the few properties that didn't have The Strand road in front of us. So this was right on the ocean. I got some amazing sunset pictures from the deck/porch. I liked being on the lower level, too. Also, it had a large closet with lots of hangers and a great dresser to put our clothes so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase. I highly recommend it!

Staff was extremely helpful and easy to reach by phone or text. The only disappointment was we couldn’t extend our stay for 2 days and ended up at the Wyndham up the street. Promised a waterfront view when booking and ended up being a ocean partial view from the balcony. This beach house is so convenient to downtown and so relaxing from the sandy backyard. 2 nights we built an awesome fire and spent hours after dark sitting around the fire and listening to the ocean. Can’t wait for our next visit.

The photos presented are NOT current or true, there has been significant beach erosion & damage which has taken away the beach & access to the beach below the boulders. The condo needs some love as the doors are do not operate smoothly including garage man door, the hall shower doors does not latch, there is no dresser or drawers in 1 room, the patio furniture & cushions are pretty worn and no patio dining table present.

Was a average rental unit. No good windows with screens to get a decent cross breeze, so they provide fans to keep you cool. The unit was updated but not great; weird sunken shower, but could use the other one in the unit. Great to have a garage, great being right on the ocean with nice views and nice hearing the waves crass. Very reasonable price. Good location but may want to be closer to the beach and pier. Probably will upgrade next time and get a bit more what we want.

Everything was great except we did not know about the street sweep that happens in Oceanside and the ticket we received. You could have put that on your information about the rental because not all states and cities do a street sweep and we were up and could have move the vehicle and we also traveled in a suburban which was too large to put in your garage. Everything for the stay was there and we had no other issues.

We rented all three units for our family group of 18. All of the units were clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the views were beautiful, and there was plenty of outdoor furniture on each deck and also for the sand yard. We enjoyed the fire pit several nights. There had obviously been some storm damage to the rock walls on all of the properties in the area, I am sure it will be restored back to it’s original condition when possible. It was a minor issue, but it did take away from the beauty of the coast line. The management company was very nice to work with! Misti responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and view. Unfortunately, the weather was overcast and chilly so we weren't able to sit outside. We would stay again but we might rent B instead of C because of the stairs (we're all oldsters).

Property was clean and had everything needed in kitchen and baths. Master bath shower was a little different but it was ok. Photos of beach area can be deceiving because no direct access to beach. We liked the idea of private garage and also closed to pier.

Overall the property was great. The master bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of space to hide away clothing and bags in the walk in closets. The house is close enough to the pier to walk down easily. The Oceanside Thursday Farmer's Market and then Thursday night market are not to be missed!
We had a few issues that the management company was able to remedy quickly.
We did wait 2 days for the garage to be available to us, which wasn't ideal.
My only complaint was that the back sandy area off the deck wasn't raked of rocks and there was no rake available. It was in disarray. There were children's socks in the outdoor shower and a bathing suit or underwear and a random box left on the back deck. There was also a beer can and vape left on the back table. One set of chairs on the deck didn't have cushions and one chair was missing a leg. So, the outdoor area needed to be cleaned up better.
At the time we stayed there was very little beach below the sea break rocks. What was there was all black rock and a tiny bit of sand.

It was nice having a private beach right outside the door, where we watched the kids play while sitting on the patio. Place was clean and nicely stocked. Condo clean and well decorated. Everything in good repair. Gorgeous ocean view. It is so close you can feel the spray from the waves. We have stayed here a few times and love the peaceful atmosphere . Hearing the ocean waves is so relaxing. Plan to return year after year. Besides the beautiful view, the one car garage and easy street parking is a real plus.

We spent three lovely days here with friends who were visiting from Europe. We loved seeing the dolphins swim by each morning, waking up to the sound of the waves and spending sunny afternoons lounging on the deck. The home is spacious, nicely furnished and decorated and feels very “beachy”. Communication was good. Sunsets are spectacular. We did feel the cleaning fees were quite steep.

The ocean view & experience was a 5 Star. The picturs of the accomidations were a bit misleading, at best a 2 Star. The step down shower in the master bedroom was border line dangerous.
Blending the two together, I would rate the overall experience a 3.
Happy we were able to experience the ocean at your fingertips and by no means were the accomodation horrible, again just a bit misleading by the pictures. Cheers to your next guests.

The sight and sound of waves breaking on beach each morning was awesome! Location! Location! Location! Within walking distance to all amenities. Excellent response from management regarding questions upon arrival. We would definitely like to do it again and would recommend this booking to all.

We 100% loved this house! A few suggestions is to get rid of Master room and bedroom rugs. Nothing beats a clean rug feee floor! Also we bought a small bucket for rinsing our feet off before entering the house from the back to keep sand off the floors.
Be sure to bring any spices you may need and extra containers for left over food.
I highly recommend this home. It was more than perfect and I can’t wait to go back! Oh and we had the perfect view of at least 10 dolphins swimming in front of us. Don’t hesitate to rent this home

This is one of our top pics for vacation spots has everything you need to cook in kitchen or bbq outside. It also has rental on top area so possibly u could use as family compound of 2 units all restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

This is our 2nd year staying here and it's always a treat. The house is beautiful. The views are one of a kind. Plenty of room to entertain, including a 15 month old baby.
Wish there was beach access but pier isn't far to go for sand and waves.
Love our mornings watching the dolphins and a fire pit at night.
The property manager was available by email and calls. No problems both times.
We will stay again.

This beachfront property was clean and roomy enough for our party of three. The kitchen contained granite countertops and nice appliances. It was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and dining. The dining table seats 6 and there are 2 bar stools for additional seating. The living room furniture will comfortably seat 5 or 6 people. Air circulation was a problem. There is no air conditioning and only one ceiling fan located in the small bedroom at the rear of the condo. In order to be comfortable we had to use the provided floor fans and the opening of doors and windows to prevent the main living areas and master bedroom from being "stuffy". The beds were comfortable. The master bathroom has a sunken shower. This was not much of a problem for us but, because it's a bit tricky stepping in and out of it, it would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. Thankfully, the second bathroom has a conventional, walk-in shower, which was utilized by the very elderly person in our group. We appreciated that the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with extra supplies such as coffee filters, dishwasher pods, paper towels, bath soap and bath tissue. The laundry closet is integrated into the kitchen and both the washer and dryer worked well. By far, the most attractive feature is the ocean view and ocean breeze. Although there is no direct beach access from this property, the private beach area is a great place to enjoy the scenery and fresh ocean air. The covered deck is large and offers plenty of shade in the hottest times of the day. We used the propane BBQ grill, which worked well. This condo is the bottom unit with two more units above. You WILL hear the guests directly above you if they are not concerned about how their activity may be heard below. During part of our stay, the occupants of the property next door were using their BBQ grill and the ocean breeze brought the smoke directly into our unit, so that is something to be aware of if you are sensitive to smoke. We had an equipment issue and an unwelcome rodent. Property management was immediately responsive and both problems were resolved quickly.

Outstanding Location
The location is key, the only problem was the master bedroom had no ventilation. It was so hot I couldn’t sleep in the room. You can feel the temperature difference when you walk in or out of the room. It does have fans but it was still too hot. The Wi-Fi was an issue tried to call no answer left a message. They did call me back but I missed there call and I would of called back the next day but I looked at the back of the modem and then I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi. I think I would try a different place next time the bedroom was just to hot to bear.
