We came down for a week to hang out with family and enjoy the beach. The house was wonderful, with all the amenities we needed! It was close to so many fun outings and of course being right on the beach was the best part!

This house worked out perfectly for our family just a short walk down to the water. My favorite was the sandy area under the bottom deck and all the sand toys for the children. The kitchen had everything you could need. Would highly recommend this vacation home to anyway.

Wonderful stay!!! Everything you need is there: lots of beach towels and bath towels, beach chairs and toys. Kitchen is well stocked. Great communication with the hosts!

There are so many rentals in the area but this property checked off all of our boxes and then some. It is right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. It has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could ever need. The only thing I looked for and didn’t find was a sharpie to label the plastic cups. They may have had one and I just didn’t see it. The owner’s attention to every detail is remarkable and they were easy to reach. It is decorated so cute! They have a washer and dryer. They have a binder with attractions and restaurants. Almost every time we went to eat, it was one of their recommendations and none disappointed. We did get carry out at the Galvostonite one night and thought it was better than the food our friend brought from Freeport the night before. It was closer to the house and not in the binder so I thought I’d recommend it too. They had beach toys for the kids to play with and a warm outdoor shower for rinsing off. It really felt like you were staying at a friends. Thank you for a great time! I have already recommended it to friends!

We had a family of 11 people that stayed for the weekend. The large downstairs patio was where we spent most of our time but we also enjoyed all the deck space upstairs too. Location to beach was a plus and great views. Great communication and clear instructions from the host. Thank you!

We had a blast with our groups of friends 7 adults 3 kids lots of sand toys to use along with chairs.

Rick and Pam your home is amazing! Completely stocked, clean, and gorgeous view of the beach!!!! Our Girl’s trip was perfect! There were 11 of us and the house was comfortable for everyone! See y’all next year.

We had such a great time! The beach was clean and not busy at all except for Friday and Saturday. Truly a perfect location just steps from the beach. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very nice and easy to contact with questions. Very quick and kind response. The two downstairs bedrooms are separate from the main living/kitchen and other three bedrooms upstairs. To go between, you use the outside staircase. It was fine with us as our kids are older, but it is worth noting. We hope to return soon to this great spot. Thanks, Pam and Rick!

Large falmily ceremony on the beach accommodates many visitors and residents. Super well equipped kitchen and deck seating. Owners very easy to communicate with. Quiet beach front with low traffic on beach. Have stayed at many beach fronts in Galveston in my 64 years on the island, this will be my choice here on out!

Besides the convenience of being on the beach, this house had all the amenities for our family. We used the large kitchen area for preparing meals and had lots of room to spread out. The upstairs deck provided a spectacular view into the gulf and we couldn’t have chosen a better space for the Easter Bunny to visit our grandchildren. We would stay here again!

This house was just what we were looking for! We wanted a place big enough for for us and our adult children and some friends that recently moved to Texas. Our friends came and stayed a few days with us. It had plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 dogs.
1st thing I noticed when we arrived was how clean it was! I am very particular about cleanliness and very often feel like I have to do a quick wipe down of the a house when we arrive. Not this time!!
We wanted something close to the beach and away from all the hustle and bustle of down town. We purposely stayed in February before the main tourist season. The owners were very quick to respond when we had a problem. The issue was more due to heavy rain and unusually cold weather than anything the owners could foresee. It was immediately dealt with.
The house is well equipped with anything you need in the kitchen or bathrooms. Plenty of towels and beach toys. We could have used a couple more extra blankets, but again it was unusually cold temperatures and I am sure not normally needed. Once our company left we just used the blankets from the other beds. Pamela and Rick are great hosts they were very responsive and try very hard to make your stay an enjoyable experience.
I would recommend this property to anyone I know and if we ever come down again to visit our friends we will definitely try to get this place again.

Wonderful stay!! We were there in January so off season. Weather was chilly BUT the house was snug and warm and cozy!! Everything was open IF you wanted to go into “commercial” Galveston (and we did) but you have everything you need at Casa Cabana!! We truly enjoyed our stay and the beach is literally a few steps from the front door. No complaints at all!!

This beach house was great. We were 3 adults and 4 kids. Well stocked with anything we needed. Some extra blankets/throws would be nice as it was quite chilly, but not a big deal. Cannot beat the location, and that is what will - hopefully - bring us back in the summer. Appreciated that each bedroom had a smart tv, and the wifi was excellent. All of us piled onto the super comfortable living area for movies and games. Owners very accessible. The subdivision could work on the roads but that was just a blip - everything was really nice and we made good memories.

The house is stocked with everything you need to cook with and activities for all. The views are awesome from sunrise to sunset and just steps from the beach. The host respond on a reasonable timeframe.
I would give a 5 but the house just needs some minor repairs and paint in a few areas and only one light work under the carport/porch area.

Five 60+ adults stayed at Coco Cabana. Great location, steps from the beach, sunrise from the deck. The house is clean, well stocked, decorated cute. The home owners were easy to work with, friendly, offered suggestions of things to do around town. Upon arrival look for the white “tips/suggestions notebook”. Extremely helpful. Would stay there again.

Great escape
We hadn’t been to Galveston for an extended stay in years. Kind of hard to believe living less than 2 hours away but we normally travel to south TX or to FL the last decade or so.
Anyway- we had a short break in the summer and spent 5 wonderful days here! The house location was perfect and the beach was sparsely populated. Kids had fun as well as the adults.
A few notes—it isn’t the Taj Mahal and the neighborhood is mostly rentals from what we saw. It’s not run down by any means but the house isn’t brand new. However everything was pretty clean, the kitchen is roomy with newer appliances, the air stayed relatively cool except for one room downstairs, and beds were decent. Internet was fast and no issues which helps for those unexpected emails or Zoom’s one has to jump on. Nice big TV available and lots of rooms and bathrooms. We sure liked the house!
You are close to stores or 15 miles back into the main part of Galveston in case you forgot something.
The owners took care of us and checked in. All and all a much needed family escape and we can’t wait to come back here again soon!

The beach house was a wonderful getaway for our family…all 10 of us. We loved the beach accessibility and the ease of getting to and from the shore. Lots of fun beach toys for the kids.

Incredible location Just Perfect!!!
This house is absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for 2 large families. Just a minute walk to the beach! The house is nicely decorated, very clean, The beds are extremely comfy i slept like a queen! it has two floors, equipped with plenty of beach chairs, toys for the beach. A short bike ride or drive to the grocery store. This house has everything you want to enjoy you time at the beach! We have stayed many places in this area and by far this is the most wonderful house we have stayed in. Thank you, Acapulco Village! For giving us a wonderful family vacation. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay!
My family and I took my father to the beach after my mothers passing in February of this year. He is 78. We met my brothers family and all stayed together. We enjoyed saying goodbye to my mother on the balcony. We had her ashes with us and dad gave a little speech and we all had a Coronoa. (Moms favorite beer). We shared laughter and tears and made great memories to cherish forever.
