About this condo rental
Beach Place 511 is a top floor unit that has been tastefully refurnished with new carpet, leather living room furniture, a new dining room set with seating for 8, and new bedroom furniture including a king in the master bedroom. Also added, are very nice flat screen TVs and a new washer/dryer as well as new bedding throughout. The kitchen is equipped with updated appliances and cabinets filled with dishes, cookware and utensils. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 8 guests in the condo. As a John's Pass Condo's guest you will have access to our office services such as printing boarding passes, sending and receiving faxes. We also have on site maintenance to handle repairs in your condo if necessary. Come and enjoy the beautiful beach and the attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafe, restaurants, fishing charters directly across the street from our condos, via a protected crosswalk. There is a washer and dryer in the condo for your personal use. There are 2 assigned parking spots available for this unit. Views of the Gulf of Mexico are endless when you're way up here!

Three of us stayed, but 10 could have comfortably stayed. It was beautiful! We had the ocean view right from our condo. The beach was right out the door for complete beach access. The beach was beautiful and clean. We went during the Seafood Festival and that was a blast! We had everything we needed! I see a lot of posts about cleanliness being an issue. The carpets were old and dirty, but that was okay because we didn’t have to worry about ruining anything. The bedding was clean, it has huge walk in closets. The entire wall in the living room is a mirror so many ladies can get ready all around the place. There was enough privacy if you wanted to be alone in your room or on the balcony. The birds love playing with people. We saw dolphins playing almost nightly. There is a ton of experiences to be had within walking distance. We will be back! Make sure to ask how to get the parking passes. We ended up having to go to the office of the condos.

The place could be nice but its too dirty and worn. When we arrived it was like the place hadn't been deeped cleaned in years. Around the corners of the doors the floor is gray where its so dirty. Tables and counters were dirty and dusty aswell as tubs were not clean. They had dead dried up flowers on the dinning room table that were crispy dry. The internet/wi-fi was not working and the cable tv was not working. The furniture is old and worn. Nothing there has been updated in years, like maybe 20 years.

This is a great location for a Florida vacation. There is a lot to do over at John's Pass. We thoroughly enjoy staying on Madeira Beach. The condo was not very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was not well stocked (lacked utensils for everyday eating). I would stay again but it is pricey for a dirty condo.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the beach and many activities. However, the condo itself was very dirty. There was blood stains on the sheets of one bed and one of the shower curtains. Both shower curtain had mold on them. Some of the dishes were dirty. The floors has layers of dirt in every corner and near the base boards. My white socks were brown have walking on the floors for only a few minutes. The carpets have not been cleaned in a very long time. They were stained and the cushion on the kitchen showers were also stained. There was dust on all the doors. I will definitely not rent this condo again.

Pros:The location of this property was perfect. Right across the street from John’s Pass, and right on the beach. Pool was very nice and can’t beat the view. Washer and dryer on site was nice. Size of the unit was great and liked the layout.
Cons: This particular unit needs a lot of attention in my opinion. Cabinet door knobs were sticky and grimy, baseboards were filthy, beds were super worn in and uncomfortable, showers had mold in the caulk, and the entire unit smelled of must. There was even some mold around the ceiling vents. The carpeting was stained and worn down. Cosmetically it was outdated…. Furniture was mismatched and didn’t fit the space well.
One evening when I was getting into bed, I even noticed blood stains on the pillow (not on the pillow case, but on the pillow itself). To be clear, these did not come from me. When I went to swap it out for an extra that was in the closet, all of those were full of stains and what appeared to be mold.
This unit “got the job done” in terms of a good location and a roof over our heads, but definitely did not meet my expectations of basic cleanliness. Won’t be staying again.

First of all this is a wonderful location, right on the beach and just a 60 second walk to John's Pass. So I want to make sure it is understood that the unit was serviceable and worked for us. Here are some issues: Sliding door to balcony was really hard to open. Upholstered furniture was stained. Mattresses all squeaked. Half of the lamps had no bulbs. Ran out of TP on day one. Dryer lint trap was clogged. Furnace filter so loaded that it had buckled.
So I guess what I am saying is really great location but the unit was tired and badly under-maintained. Would I come back to this unit? No.

There were several things we liked about this property.... the location, 2 parking spots and spacious accommodations. There were a several things that could be improved/added to make property a better value: kitchen towels, pot holders, paper towels, toilet paper, beach towels etc. The communication could have been better.

Host responsive. Good beach location. Big condo. No paper towls or kitchen towls. Plenty of bathroom towels. Wi-fi did not work. Barh jets did not work. Damaged window screens. Sliding door hard to open and close due to track damage. Needs total updating. Dented fridge door. Master bath drain slow. Pictures were taken

Listing indicated that the property was updated and new furniture and bedding. The bedding was not new at all. The cleanliness of the condo was terrible. The ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator had mold all over it. The tubs were disgusting. Very dated. There were no paper towels, toliet paper, trash bags, etc. (said the kitchen was stocked). We came from out of state and had to go buy everything. No beach towels, chairs, etc. Called about a parking pass, because the sign in the elevator said you had to have one and was told a pass would be brought to us, and we never saw it. The view was beautiful and the location was good but disappointed with the condo itself.

Location was perfect. Only complaint was no TP lol. We ordered in everything. Had a great time. The building itself needs some work on the electronic key pads. Gate to pool and beach didn't work several times.

Was told we would have chairs and umbrellas for the beach had none toilet handle broke the first day had to call about that the floors the blankets on the beds were all disgusting nasty the refrigerator leaked all over the floor several times we had to clean that up the front or the second bathroom the toilet overflowed I had to call for that had no Wi-Fi instruction had no TV instructions had no instructions on anything very disappointing stay

Great location
Great location. The room had great space but needs TLC. We had no supplies to start as we were supposed to. No toilet paper or anything else. The directions for check in were not great as we ended up in the building next door. The 2 parking lots are all combined with the same lettering and numbers.
Just add that Beach Place is the pink building. When we called to ask for help the woman was worthless. I finally reached a gentleman that was able to help.

Not the best
Right out of the gate we noticed that the place was a little run down and not very clean. I quickly noticed that one of the quilts had what appeared to be vomit on it in multiple places. We didn’t need every bed so I removed it and we didn’t use this bed. I set my 7 month old on the carpet and she kept getting hand fills of long hair so I’m assuming the carpets weren’t vacuumed. Just a lot of small things that could have been better (light bulbs blown, dirty surfaces and bedding, windows unable to be locked, etc.) The other frustrating things had to do with the property itself, not this specific unit.

What I don't like is that local kids jump the fence at the pool and use foul language around kids. Noone around to stop them. No issues though from them.

6 of us women who have been friends for over 40 years were celebrating 3 of us turning 60. We wanted to have fun, relax on the beach and just enjoy our long weekend. The condo was perfect, ( I would suggest that they leave 2 sets of towels for everyone so that we didn't have to keep doing laundry) we arranged for Insta cart deliveries of food and alcohol over the weekend, we rented beach chairs daily, and John's Pass was right across the street. We went shopping there in the cute little shops, got ice cream, went to different restaurants and bars. It was perfect. We would definitely come back.

Overall a great experience. We have some struggle finding the place and the contacting the office. Beautiful place, true to offer online. The cleanliness was mixed: mostly everything was neat and clean except for the coffee maker and one of the toilets. Never received the email with the check-in information. After we got the check -in info, everything was perfect. A beautiful place to relax, great location. We’ll come back and recommend tjhe place..

Overall a great experience. We have some struggle finding the place and the contacting the office. Beautiful place, true to offer online. The cleanliness was mixed: mostly everything was neat and clean except for the coffee maker and one of the toilets. Never received the email with the check-in information. After we got the check -in info, everything was perfect. A beautiful place to relax, great location. We’ll come back and recommend tjhe place..

I’d definitely return and book the same unit! Great location with a wonderful view of the ocean. There were a few minor repairs needed and several lights needed bulbs. As far as the kitchen, it was well stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils. However, I would highly suggest a large skillet because the only one in the unit was a cast iron one. I always cook with cast iron, but others using the unit may not know how to properly clean one. I could tell it had been washed with soap and water before we used it. The cleaning service must not of opened the freezer because there was leftover food in there.

We had a good experience overall. My wife thought the bed quilts weren’t very clean. But we thought the Cleaners might have been pushed to get it ready asap for us as we needed to get in early due to our schedule. We loved the location.

Paint on deck peeling, sticking to the bottom of your feet. However, the view and John's Pass was close as were the grocery stores. Pool was amazing and very clean. This made our trip.
