This property is nice. Lots of character. Bed were comfy and clean. Only issue is the house had that old house smell but other than that it was a nice place. No local TV.

Beautiful, clean and exceptionally well stocked with coffee, shampoo, body wash and even some extra toothbrushes! Loved the front Porch sitting and room for all family to come over from their VRBO to celebrate our Baylor Graduate! So much Holy Shiplap character! Love this old home and highly recommend! My high school friends had a great time staying at the house for our girls weekend. The house was close to everything!

This is a wonderful little gem of a property!! It is exactly like the pictures and then some!!! The beds were all super comfortable, there was even a basket with toothbrushes/toothpaste, which was perfect because one of us forgot our toiletries. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/etc and very nicely remodeled. There are 2 full baths downstairs and one full bath upstairs, so we had lots of space for the 5 of us to get ready. Everything was very clean and super cute decorations! We enjoyed a day full of Magnolia fun and a quiet night in of door dash, wine, and good company. Plenty of room for everyone to lounge and catch up comfortably, and then spacious room to have our own space for sleeping at night. The loft bed and master bedroom upstairs are super cute, but you do have to climb a beautiful spiral staircase to get up there (with your bags) so that space may not be practical for everyone to get up/down from easily. The master bedroom was very large, and the loft bed is right off that and above the living room area...it's tucked away where you can get a good night sleep and not be disturbed if others are up in the house downstairs (with being reasonably quiet). Everything about the house is super charming and the host was very responsive! We felt very safe in the home and there is great parking behind the property, which was perfect, because the house is located directly next door to and across from two different businesses. We were there for a long weekend though and didnt hear a peep from them. It's also a typical Waco neighborhood, where there are some older homes in dis-repair, alongside gems like this that have been beautifully restored. It was a quick maybe 10min drive to the silos and downtown activities and was the perfect spot for our group of five for a long weekend girls trip! I would definitely rent this property again in the future!

This home did not disappoint. Beautiful and clean throughout. The neighborhood is a little rough, but it was quiet with no problems.

We loved the property! Unfortunately, we didn't get to hang around and relax at the house. We wished we would have had one more day to do just that.

We stayed here for a Baylor/UT basketball weekend and it was great! We slept 7 comfortably and 10 would have been easy. The kitchen is awesome for cooking, gathering and snacking plus there's a great dining table for games and sit-down meals. Parking in the back of the house accommodated all of our cars so we had safe, easy access. I would stay here again!!

It's a beautiful property that looks to be remodeled by Magnolia Farms; Chip and Joanna Gains. It was fun to see the style and restoration ideas that were used in this remodel.

In town for a girls trip and the Lasker house made us feel right at home!

We travel together twice a year - 4 couples, ages 65-80. The house is lovely with ample room for conversation, meals, games around the table and space for storing food, etc. The host provided coffee fixings, ice maker kept up with us and the island in the kitchen had lots of room for serving. I recommend picking up some trash bags to place on the floorboard of your car due to white rock residue in parking area that spreads to vehicles. Only minutes from Silos. Great host!

We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and still felt like we didn’t enjoy everything the house had to offer! Courtney was fantastic in answering all questions we had, and the welcome book had some great suggestions that we took for meals around town! Super adorable historic home, will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Waco!

We loved the house. The location was perfect for Baylor, airport, and silos. It was clean, organized and safe, easy parking, nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. The AC and fans were perfect especially with 107 degree weather! The communication and the pictures were accurate. Everyone loved it.

The house is stunning! Fully equipped with everything you could think of. The owner, Courtney, was responsive, great to work with, and thought of everything! The house was a great size. Perfect for our group of 8 ladies. We were within 10 minutes of any place we wanted to go. The neighborhood is okay. We never felt unsafe but it is definitely an up and coming area. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We had a girls trip to see the silos. The house was perfect for our needs. There are a lot of small touches that made it feel like home. The master bedroom was dark and cold. I haven’t slept that well in a while. I’d stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Overall Great!!

We were in Waco for our daughter’s graduation and this was such a perfect home! All the extra touches (toiletries, robes, popcorn, snacks) made it inviting and comfortable. As with similar reviews, the area left a bit to be desired but we had no issues.

Loved staying at the ship lap house. Everything you might need is there. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Nice linens and nice thick towels. Comfy beds and great bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Owner has thought of everything. Will book it again.

This house was so spacious for our group for girls weekend. Clean house, beautiful kitchen, great amenities, Courtney was kind and responsive when needed. My only advice would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the house. Everything else was perfect!!!!
