- A bit difficult to find your way towards the property by taxi as there are some construction sites in the area but this can be sorted out.

Loved it!

Such great customer service from the team here, they treat you like a friend from the moment they meet you. I’ll confidently say it’s the best customer service we have received during our 3 week holiday in Egypt. We received a free upgrade on arrival to a room that was slightly larger, which was a nice point of difference from previous places we’ve stayed where they’ve tried to convince us to pay for upgrades. The beach is great! There’s beautiful coral reefs that you can snorkel around just off the beach that have a variety colourful fish. Super handy and seeing as the accomodation is only small the beach is only a few metres from any of the rooms you stay in here. You can take a short stroll down the beach to two other restaurants which gives variety in the food you can eat without having to jump in a taxi and leave the accomodation. I would recommend Sunshine divers club to anyone. We initially booked two nights stay but loved the location and staff so much that we booked ourself in for a third night. If we return to Sharm we will definitely be staying at Sunshine again.

The breakfast could have been a lot bigger and more variety on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner would have been great. We’d find ourselves needing to get lunch within a couple of hours of eating the breakfast. But we were stoked to see there’s two other restaurants within a short walking distance from Sunshine divers club so we’d often stroll down and take our pick of where we’d like to eat lunch and dinner each day.

Disappointing

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Snorkling beach just outside of the guesthouse. The seaview from the room.

-location The hotel is very out of town, and the only way to get around is by the over-priced taxi offered by the guesthouse. 300 EGP from the airport to the guesthouse.(only 7km) -the room. The first night, we were put into a room which AC didn't work and where ventilation was poor with the smell of sewage especially with an in built toilet. We asked to change room because we couldn't stand the smell of the toilet and the AC, which according to the reception, they didn't lie to us, the pictures of the room are the same as the ones on Booking, that changing the room for us was a favour and an upgrade. So I went and checked on Booking and realized the room that we were upgraded into(ensuit with an independent toilet) was the room that we booked all along. He put us into the wrong room. -food Breakfast was horrible. egg+toast+cut up cucumber/tomato/+a slice of ham and cheese. Coffee was good though. Food option was very limited in the area. There was only the Italian restaurant onsite, which do not serve good food. And the area doesn't have much to offer. In summary, staying here everything was limited. It was hard to get a taxi(guesthouse far away from everything) Food option was limited. So if you want to go out, the only way is by using the hotel's over-priced taxi service, which according to the taxi driver onsite, reception Hamada takes a cut on every rides.

First of all, I would like to thank this facility because they hosted us very well, because it is a clean and safe place, especially the sea is very beautiful, please choose a hotel, you will never regret it. A manager named Hamada has always supported us, just like a father, we thank all the employees very much.

1 week diving in Sharm

10 seconds walk from shark bay - great snorkeling and dive centre at your doorstep. Clean room. Air conditioning was working well. Bar staff at small Italian restaurant next door were polite, kind and helpful. Food and service were excellent.

Location - taxi/rental car required to get around to other areas - it's not a huge issue. Must use bottled water for cleaning teeth. Lighting in the room wasn't so strong - it could be improved upon with better bulbs.

Exceeded all expectations. Lovely people, stunning diving!

Incredible value for money. Room exceeded expectations with a beautiful, high, dome ceiling. Staff were so lovely. Every single one. The guys in the restaurant, the dive instructors, Ehab, everyone at the reception. Loved that the dive club was integrated and that they had their own beautiful beach! Lots of restaurants nearby.

Great location and value for money

Was very close to the airport. Staff were lovely and super helpful - we had a late check in and they were very accomodating. Helped us oragnise a car to the airport early the next morning and a packed breakfast too! The room was also super clean and the views were lovely

Wonderful time!

We had a great stay! Angelo went above and beyond on every aspect! When I had a small medical issue he immediately contacted a doctor and brought us to the pharmacy himself, all for free. On the last day we decided to do a full day dive trip and he surprised us by keeping the room available until much later that day so we could shower and change easily. All the dives were wonderfully organised, in small groups, and we felt very safe and comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful and of course the reef just in front of the hotel was beautiful! We would 100% stay here again in the future!

We had a very pleasent stay at Sunshine Divers Club.The Hotel is located in a calm beautiful bay, directly at the beach. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at home. The restaurant is also really good. The waiters were doing a great job and the food was always tasty. The rooms were cleaned daily. We can also recommend the dive shop which belongs to the Hotel. We would definitely come back!

There is a jetty next to the Hotel where boat trips to the different sites in the area are starting so it can be a bit noisy in the morning.

Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

Angelo gave me a warm welcome and was available on WhatsApp 24 hours to assist. Great service from the restaurant, they let me run a tab for the duration of my stay. They are all professional and dressed well. The house reef is amazing for snorkelling and doing an easy dive. I also love how the dive centre is kind to the sea and cares about the reef. Delicious breakfast, quiet location, welcoming atmosphere. Love the flowery tiles in the shower. Wish I could stay longer.

We were lucky to stay at Sunshine Divers Club - Il Porto, because we ordered intro diving course and diving centre located inside the hotel. The place is absolutely amasing and private. When we arrived the manager of the hotel offered us welcome drincs mango juice. In addition manager was really kind and upgrated our room to better conditions. The place Sharks Bay is lovely place.

The overall experience was wonderful. The room is simple but that was what we were expecting. The location was superb - right on the beach. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful at all times and were always on hand to provide help and advice - organising diving, snorkelling taxis etc. They could not do enough to help. Excellent diving tuition. Would absolutely return. A very pleasant place to stay that is a very nice alternative to the big resort hotel experience.

Nothing aside from i found the pillows a bit firm.

Best spot for a diving course / vacation! Especially if you are doing 2 or 3 dives a day, the location is perfect, you have the diving center in the Bed & Breakfast. Sunshine Divers Club. Start your day with a basic breakfast, and if you are a coffee lover, you will loooove the italian Cappucino. And then DIVE DIVE DIVE :-) we stayed for 5 days and did our Adventure Advanced SSI course + Nitrox. incl. 2 boattrips with 3 dives. So if you are looking for a good diving hotel, 1 on 1 service. Book this one!

Great place to stay right on the beach! Great value. We had a water view and were steps away from the beach. The on-site restaurant was great and the massages on the beach. What stood out most was the incredibly accommodating staff, Mahmoud and Angelo who went out of their way to help considering our unusual check in/out times with tours. Definitely recommend!

They upgraded me for free from a small tiny room to a medium sized room. Ahmed was the best waiter. Adam in housekeeping works very hard and always helped me with everything i needed. Sunshine Divers is located right on the beach which is very convenient.

I recommend having a better way to communicate with receiption. There is no place to find them except to go to the restaurant. The wifi in room #4 is weak inbetween two options. Please buy an extender. Often, the toilet in #4, would not work which was frustrating. It would be nice to have a non smoking area especially for breakfast.

Sharm at its best

We originally came for one night and ended up staying for almost a week. Best place in Sharm to get away from the masses and enjoy everything the destination has to offer. The staff were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel should offer packages for divers (room + dive cerfication + diving trips) and more vegetarian options on it's menu.

Down to earth, chilled out beachside vibe managed by Angelo - the host with the most!

Sadly I was staying for COP-27, but as an avid diver can see that the setup is ideal for easy access to amazing diving. The location was absolutely beautiful - right on the beach. In the shambolic, chaotic COP environment, Angelo and the Lodge were an oasis of pleasant and calm. Angelo was a fount of information and support and worked hard to accommodate all his guests. He was like a ray of sunshine with his cheer and care; the Lodge was such a wonderful, welcoming place to come "home" to at the end of each day. While The Lodge is not 5 star luxury, Angelo provides 5-star customer care. The Lodge is good value for money with an authentic, down to earth, chilled out vibe, far from the madding crowd of cash, flash and bling. Old school in the good way. I did not like Sharm el Sheikh, but I loved the Sunshine Divers Lodge and was only sorry I couldn't be there on holiday instead of working!

The location of the hotel was perfect and accurate for us. The diving club served us and was very professional and accompanied us throughout the stay. All the hotel staff were very nice, very helpful and took care of everything for us. I highly recommend the hotel. We could not have chosen better.
