Overall, this is a great place with a great location! The listing said three bathrooms but there were only two. Owner was very responsive with questions:)

The house was very clean (the walls are pretty dinged up, though), with a very strong smell of disinfectant. The layout is a little weird as the master bedroom/bathroom are in the basement, or bottom floor. Booking was easy and communication was good, too. There is no access to the lake, but you have a nice view from the balcony. Parking is not at all ideal, a smaller vehicle would work best. Overall, a nice place to stay, but it does not feel homey or very welcoming...kind of sterile, actually. The location is good if you want to be close to the strip.

We chose GOTL for closeness to us. The location was perfect, the house was clean, well stocked, and the owners are very responsive! Only downfall, having a pet there not much grass area for them to potty. But our dog adjusted!

Beautifully updated home right on the lake and strip. You will enjoy nightly sunsets from the second story deck. We cannot wait to return!

My 4 yo son, 84 yo Dad, dog and I loved it. Steps from strip & lake edge w stairs so we could swim. Pricey & Simple. Good view & deck. Lil fire pit. Worth it if you value the location.

This property is perfectly located. You can walk anywhere in town. The owner was there when we checked in. The view is amazing!

This property is in an excellent location about as good as you can get. I was a little disappointed as cleanliness is extremely important to me. There was quite a lot of cobwebs everywhere and the outside right before you come in it’s definitely not make you want to jump and it kind of makes you cautious of what’s to come. overall everything was as described. The furniture could’ve been more comfortable, but it was as pictured and sort of expected. We really had a terrific time and like I said before the location is excellent. I think it just needs a little pick me up.

While we went for Thanksgiving and everything was mostly closed we found this to be a great little place. It was nice to be able to see the lake out the window and get there with a short walk. I would appreciate it if the owner would take a little more care with higher-quality toilet paper.

Rating is a 10, looking forward to our summer trip.

Right on the strip with easy walks to restaurants and shopping. Geneva State Park is within a short drive or bike ride. House was comfortable, provided nice lake views from deck, and had strong, stable wifi. Communication with owner was timely and helpful.

My mom, sister, niece and myself stayed here and had the best time! The location to the lake is unbeatable. We had the most beautiful view! It was great to watch the sunset. We brought my 18 month old niece with us as well and the house was very child friendly! They even had a gate to put at the top of the stairs. Would highly recommend staying here!

It would be hard to pick a better spot for a Geneva-on-the-Lake vacation. The house is half a block off the strip and steps from the Lake. The porch and the upper level living space have amazing views of the lake. (Depending on the time of year you may need to walk down to the lake to see the sun actually sink below the water but it's a pretty great scene from the deck, too). The house was spacious and the rooms were comfortable. The house can accommodate whatever kind of vacation you have in mind. We spent most of our time exploring the area in and around GOTL but we also made good use of the private dock, the grill, the fire pit and the kitchen during our stay. And our dog loved basking in the afternoon sun that came through the large windows. (We even had to work a little and the house worked well as a remote office, too.) There were a lot of cobwebs with spiders and other bugs on and around the deck and around the front door of the house, but many of the bar and restaurant spaces on the strip were the same, so that may just be part of the GOTL experience. All in all, would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend some time in Geneva-on-the-Lake.

Right on the strip but still private with pretty lake views and a few steps to the water in one direction and in the other direction, few steps to the Geneva Strip where all the action is! House has everything we needed for a 1 night stay! Terry the host/owner swung by and seems like a great guy! I'd rent again!

Property located off the main road. Very loud location where you can hear motorcycles a lot along with the concerts they had daily. Parking is very tight. There is no grassy area for your pet. You have to go to the neighbors grassy areas for your pet. The steps going to the shoreline are extremely steep and not safe. Outside of the house could have been cleaned better. It was covered in webs.

The property was lovely and served as an excellent spot for rest and rejuvenation during what was a hectic weekend of swimming at the nearby Spire facility. It worked well for our family (spanning a variety of ages). We look forward to staying there again next year - and adding a few days to our stay so that we can fully enjoy it!

we had a good long weekend at the property, I stayed with my parents and my partner. The design of the house worked well, as one bedroom is upstairs and one down, so we both had our own areas but a big shared common area on the second floor. Sunsets were amazing from the porch, as advertised.

The property was very nice. Clean, comfy beds, good space, nice kitchen. Accurately described on the listing. It is one house back from the water but does have direct lake views. The steps down to the water are a little treacherous but once you’re down there, it’s great. Would recommend!

This property is gorgeous! Loved the layout. The main living space/kitchen is on second floor with a deck that has a lake view from one side. Molly (dog) loved hanging out watching the squirrels in the trees, and we loved having coffee in the morning even in the cold. In the summer you are only about a block from the main "strip." We thoroughly enjoyed the off season walks, just five minutes away by car, could access beautiful marina/lighthouse beach and trails. A little muddy now although there are paved paths throughout and the weather was cool, crisp and sunny -- great for hiking. Larger, private area on first level had private bath, microwave and king size bed. Parking right outside the door. Sad part was 11:00 checkout. Would have loved to have a couple more hours to enjoy coffee on the deck and relaxing before heading back to reality. Hosts are the most responsive I've ever experienced. Once confirmed, you have the option to contact them anytime during your stay for help. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed here at the end of August for 4 nights and it was fabulous! Terry worked with me on dates because we didn’t need a whole week. Very clean, easy access to everything. We had a great time!

My father and I stayed for a week. I worked during the day (WiFi worked great) and then we enjoyed the porch most evenings. Some of the furniture has been replaced (e.g. futon is now a comfy couch) and it was cozy. The beds were so comfy which made the stay extra enjoyable. Also, you hear the strip BUT it was NOT noisy - just enjoyable. : ) Access to the beach was available via steps and was really nice! The only minor challenges were the wooden indoor staircase (1 dog fell) and that the downstairs was a little colder than the rest of the house (to be expected). We loved the space and had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend.
