Nestled in Alexandria, this charming condo for $336 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. West Alexandria VA 3 bed 2 Bath. House is located at the corner of Fillmore and Seminary Rd. Few Steps away from Metro Bus Stop, several restaurants. The house spacious with lots of amenities to make you feel at home. Shared driveway and street parking is available for you and your guests Your safety and security is very important to us, we have surveillance security cameras at all point of entry. This unit is the Top floor. Basement is rented out separately. Top floor 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, driveway and patio. We will be available via a phone or text message. It's a quiet and friendly neighborhood Uber is minutes away and there's metro bus stop at the corner of the house. Uber/Lyft car rides are easy and affordable to travel to the Great DC area. The nearest Metro station is Van Dorn Station which is about 12 minutes drive from the house. We have two units that are completely independent, our driveway parking is shared between the two units and is big enough to accommodate 6 cars.

Our family traveled to D.C. area for spring break. There were six of us so the 3 bedrooms worked perfect. Off street parking was great. Host was very easy to contact if needed. Check in was easy, location was very safe and easy to find. We would recommend this host and location to anyone and would stay there again if we visit again.

Overall the house was not bad, It was clean and decorated nicely, but the rooms were very cramped for a family of four with two teenagers. We could not figure out how to turn on the lamp in the living room nor did we know about the spare AC unit. It would have been helpful if they had listed more detailed instructions about the house in the welcome binder. We thought the AC was broken after the first night because it never cooled down to the desired temperature and it was so hot, but after some communication with the owner, we found out that there is a "split unit" in the living room that needed to be turned on. Something we had no experience with. The owner was very attentive in this matter and sent someone right away to check the Central Unit just in case. I was also a little surprised that they had long term renters in the basement unit. This was not something that was mentioned in the description and was not disclosed until the day before check in. Honestly, I probably would not have booked this property had I known that. We didn't see or hear from them other then having to make sure to leave room in the driveway, but we felt like we had to be extra quiet walking around since we were above them, it was a little awkward. As for the size, I should have been more diligent when looking at the pictures. The rooms were on the small side, with no room for a dresser or place to put our suitcase without it being in the way the whole time. We had to make the most out of the closets, but those were even a tight squeeze getting in and out. The master bath was super small! I am not a big person by any means, and I had a hard time moving around in such a small space. The shower was just as small. My husband and I actually ended up sharing the hallway bathroom with the kids during the entire stay. The master bath looked newly renovated, but it was just too tight of a squeeze to be functional. I personally would not stay here again- mainly due to the size, which is not any fault of the owner. They made the most of the space they have, but for us it wasn't ideal.

Perfect launching place for our attendance at our son’s Marine Corps ceremony at Quantico, VA. Also perfect for a couple days in Washington DC. Very close to necessary interstates. Owner was extremely attentive to minor issues like lightbulbs, location of ironing board, need for a blender, etc. it’s not a large place, but perfect for the five of us!

We had a wonderful experience at this property! Checking-in was so easy and the property owner was very responsive to my messages! The rooms were spacious and very clean! Two bathrooms were so nice! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook small meals and breakfast. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We also took walks around the neighborhood and they were nice!

The house has everything that we needed to be comfortable for our week visiting family and playing tourist. There are a couple of Metro stations reasonably close, and a bus line that goes to one of them right by the house. Check in and out was easy, and we had good communications with the host. We’d definitely try to stay there again the next time we’re in Virginia.

Property is newly renovated. Kitchen and 2 bathrooms are nice and clean. Nice touch of welcoming snack tray was waiting for us when we arrived. It was hot and humid summer and the air-conditioning is at the perfect setting all through out our stay. First night, the raccoons were having a party on the roof. The owners have warned us about it before we arrived. And the next day the pest control was there and did a great job. Second night, no more racoon party. The place is perfect for us dropping off my niece for post grad school. The only set back is the location on a busy main road. The owner is a text away. Quick to respond to our concerns. Great place to stay. 5 minutes away from Starbucks and shopping center.

The property is on a very busy corner of a major roadway. If you’re a light sleeper, I do not recommend. The house was extremely clean with all necessities. The host was responsive to every need. We requested extra washcloths after a long first day of being in the area. The host sent his housekeeper immediately at about 9:00 that night. There was plenty of soap and shampoo, if needed. Plenty of pots and pans, just buy your food to cook.

The positives: good communication with owner, snacks and water provided, the right location for where we wanted to be, parking in the driveway, spacious living room, washer/dryer. The negatives: no tissues, missing pillow cases, garbage cans wouldn’t open easily, signs labeling everything felt like we were in a place of business, walls needed to be cleaned. All of this was minor but there was no dressers to put clothes in or on (closets only) and 2 of the 3 bedrooms had windows facing a major road. The traffic was fairly constant and loud.

Fully equipped kitchen to cook meals - has toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher and also equipped with pots and pans. The host is very responsive. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable for me since it was soft- but that is a personal preference. Would highly recommend this place!
