Unlike other rentals, our home grants you genuine oceanfront views from within, so you won't miss a single moment of the breathtaking scenery. Leave your worries behind as you relish direct beach access right from the property – no need for carts! Say goodbye to endless stair climbs; here, ocean vistas grace the kitchen, living, and master bedroom areas. With a private heated pool and serene screened decks, every second promises relaxation. Immerse yourself in the tranquil symphony of the ocean's soothing waters. Your extraordinary oceanfront escape awaits! Gulf Swells & Sea Shells presents a reverse floor plan with four bedrooms, three baths, and a laundry room on the main level. The second floor boasts a full bath, all new kitchen appliances and furniture with beautiful views of the ocean. It is the perfect backdrop as your friends and family gather together. The fully remodeled master bedroom is located off the great room and features a king-sized bed complete with Gulf views for your viewing pleasure. Included with your rental of Gulf Swells & Sea Shells: - One 4-seat golf cart - Newly remodeled Kitchen - Bedding and linens - Bath and Beach towels - Beach cart, and 4 chairs - Garbage bags - Iron and ironing board - A basic supply of Shampoo, toilet and facial tissues - Paper towels - Soap (hand, kitchen, dishwasher, and laundry) -Gas Grill -Pinball machine accepts quarters and dollar bills -Ping Pong Table -Corn Hole Not included with your rental: - Transportation to and from the airport - Water taxi to and from North Captiva Island - Food, beverages, seasonings, storage bags, shampoo, and body soap Due to local wildlife ordinances we ask that you turn off exterior lighting at night when not in use outdoors. For this reason and for your security we have placed 7 exterior blink cameras outside the home. They are motion activated and located above the front steps to cover property entrance and golf cart, one located on the NE upper corner of the front porch to cover front door, porch steps and porch entry, up high attached to fascia on the south east corner of the home covers east side of property, water tanks and ac units, one located under the house by the electric meter/phone box facing SW to cover storage area and utilities under the home and 3 cameras located on the roof fascia points facing the NE section of the lot the NW sections of the lot and the SW sections of the lot. No cameras are pointed directly into the pool. There are no cameras located inside the home. Cameras are for your security.

This home is spacious, beautifully decorated and perfect for a large family. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The pool, pool table, hammock, golf cart and other amenities make rest and relaxation a breeze. The home is a short walk to a private gated beach entrance. All this said, families should be aware the island was ravaged by a hurricane a year ago, and may houses are uninhabitable or under construction. Debris and construction supplies border many of the roads. We lost power for 8 hours one day, and we were told it was related to construction in the area. You should also be prepared to cook most, if not all, meals. Only 2 restaurants are open in the island, and 1 of those only on Saturday/Sunday. Highly suggest the Over the Waterfront restaurant. We were primarily there for the beach, so it worked great for us, but if the beauty of the overall island is important to you, be advised.

Gulf Swells and Seashells is a beautiful house close to the beach. It was very clean and we were so comfortable there. The Tortuga Properties people were responsive and did their best to make our stay relaxing and care free. The island is obviously not back to normal after hurricane Ian but they are getting there. We were a little confused as to what kind of places were available to eat at and luckily we were prepared to fix our own meals. The grocery delivery service made that very easy for us. We had a great, relaxing trip and enjoyed visiting North Captiva.

Excellent place for a party of 10! We had two families with kids ranging in age from 3-13 and two grandparents. My dad has mobility issues so he enjoyed the beach view from the deck and the short walk to the beach. The pool was great for the kids. The house was clean and roomy. The owners were very accessible by phone and got back to us immediately with questions we had. I have stayed in many places around the country and this house and location has been my favorite!

Everything about this vacation was perfect. The house was spectacular and if you want a true escape, North Captiva is the perfect spot. The ultimate place to spend time with family with zero distractions. The boat ride and transportation on the island were perfect. We will return.

Island Getaway
The property was what we expected and more! It was perfect for our group of eight. I especially appreciated the ample amount of bath towels, beach towels and other beach and house necessities that are not otherwise available on the island. Both the homeowner and Tortuga Properties made communication and our stay easy and enjoyable.

We did lots of research before selecting this property and so glad we did! Everyone was pleasant to work with and our vacation was filled with memories. We will be back!

Perfect Vacation
The house was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. Everything was so clean and all of the rooms were comfortable. The beach is right out the front door and my husband loved the fishing. There was so much natural beauty- our kids loved finding shells, spotting birds and identifying fish. The owners had some pamphlets that they used to identify each one in the evening. My dad loved using the golf cart to explore with his grand kids!
The owners were very nice and helped us navigate the logistics of traveling to the island by boat and securing all of our groceries. It was intimidating at first but once we got there it was so nice to not be running to the grocery store each day! We were really able to focus on our family time. We enjoyed kayaking and golf cart rides to get ice cream! The pools both at the house and the Island Club were a great addition. I loved exploring the trails in the nature preserve. We saw tortoises, manatees, dolphins, bonnet sharks and a ray!
We rented a boat for a couple days and explored some nearby islands- we would highly recommend an excursion to Cabbage Key.
Be prepared to pay “Island prices” for any dining out you do- but it’s worth the treat every once in a while. We used the property management company to deliver fresh seafood one night and that was great! Next time we will probably do that more than once. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time traveling to North Captiva. It was such a beautiful house. We appreciated how clean and new the house was. All of our family was able to have their own bedroom and bathroom as well. We plan on returning again soon. You will LOVE this home.

We can't say enough about this property and it's location. It was a perfect getaway for a surprise 80th birthday party. Plenty of space, beautiful views and perfect for dinner parties.
The family of Osprey's kept us entertained day and night.
