I really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning….the community was wonderful I wish we could have stay a bit longer. I few very small things but need looking into….the patio doors jam up making them difficult to open and close. There was still sand in my sons bed that we have to clean up otherwise the unit was great.

The condo was very much as described and nicer than expected in some ways. The decor was classy, interesting, and obviously carefully curated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, and cookware (medium and gigantic steamer sets!). Walking distance to the nice-sized pool and clubhouse, tennis courts, Bluewater Grill and the tiki bar. It was perfect for the two of us for a short stay at OBX. The one downside was the frequent emails from Village Realty about check-in and check-out times, whether we wanted to arrive a day early, were we going to check out early so they could clean before the 10 a.m. check-out time (which seemed earlier than the standard 11 a.m. anyway). Nonetheless, someone knocked on the door at 9 a.m. on departure day while we were loading the car, then sat outside in the parking lot until we departed at 9:30. Jeez. Not much appreciated by these "seasoned" travelers who are familiar with how check-out works. Left a tip anyway, of course.

We were able to check in with our little doggie and 2 kids on Friday and check out on Monday. We were in OBX for a family wedding. The condo and property were awesome. This was our 5th time at Pirates Cove and we cannot wait to return!

The internet did not work during the stay and the cable did not work either. This is an issue that should be addressed as it was a bit disappointing. Everything else was fabulous though.

We had a very nice stay, thank you. There were more steps than we had thought there would be with no elevator and pet (not used to steps) to carry up and down each time. This was an oversight on our part. Overall, nicely decorated and supplied. Community was beautiful and restaurants nearby had good food and great entertainment.
